Talk to "Freedom Sparkle Sam" in Meridian or Sanctum to start your quest. You'll collect sparkles by completing Expert Dungeons, winning Warfronts and completing Zone Events across Telara. The eagle is a creature of air, so you will earn even more freedom sparkles when you defeat Crucia's forces from the Plane of Air!

*Note: we originally also included Mercutial's Headdress and Lord Fionn's Horned Crest as new items. However, these items were nabbed by some boglings and will be featured in a future RIFT update.

RIFT 4.4: Hotfix #18 6/27/2018


[DIMENSIONS]

• Fixed an issue that put Guild Dimensions in a state where the active guild dimension could not be changed.

[LFR]

• Fixed an issue causing your FPS to substantially drop over time if the LFR window is left open.

[WARDROBE]

• Fixed an issue that caused some weapons to be displayed with the wrong colors when applied as a wardrobe.

• Fixed an issue allowing you to use extended bank vaults even though they were invisible. In accordance with this, YOU GET A VAULT. AND YOU GET A VAULT. AND YOU GET A VAULT! (Vault 1’s extended storage is now available for everybody).

[EXPERT DUNGEONS]

• The rate of Expert gear tokens is temporarily doubled!

[RAIDS]

• Items
  
  • The rate of Raid gear tokens is temporarily increased by 50%!
    
  • Raid currency now always drops on a personal loot roll whether or not player receives a piece of gear on that roll.
• Greenscale’s Blight
  
  • Hylas has instituted a new open door policy on Greenscale’s Blight and allows the Ascended to walk right into the open front door to get murdered by a tree.
    
  • The odds of getting a relic quality drop from Greenscale has been doubled.
    
  • The chances of chase item drops from Greenscale has been greatly increased.

RIFT’s third Prime Challenge ended on June 15, 2018. Now, find out who won!


From May 16, 2018 – June 15, 2018, Telarians were encouraged to seek out Confounded Contraptions on both RIFT Prime and Live, in addition to collecting 500 Twisted Artifacts on Prime. Players from all over participated for a chance to win great prizes.


The Seeker portion of Challenge III asked players to collect all 100 Confounded Contraptions scattered across Mathosia. For Prime players, the prizes included the new title “The Confounded” and being the first to obtain Demonette Wings (both the mount and the wardrobe versions) ahead of the official RIFT store release. We didn’t leave Live players out of this one and they also had a chance to win the title “The Confounded”. Instead of wings they also received the much sought-after Silver Tier loyalty. Also, instead of three winners each, we decided to do five. This was largely in part due to the fact that we didn’t get enough participation in the Crafting Rifts Challenge portion of Challenge III.

Last week we announced the #ShowUsYourSnail challenge in honor of our new spiky friend, the Burning Apocalyptic Snail. We asked you to take a photo of the snail and superimpose it into a real-life photo or in-game screenshot of the snail for a chance to win the new mount for your very own! This week however, we’re reminding players that Chloromancers aren’t native to Telara. Trove has them, too! You can play the Chloromancer class in Trove. Utilize some favorite abilities such as Phytobarrier, Leafy Lasher, Blooming Pollinator, and more. Just like in RIFT, they bend the laws of nature to both heal allies and damage foes, plus their flowers pack a punch! Check it out!

Ready or not, Challenge IV is here! Beginning Wednesday, June 20, 2018 and lasting through Friday, July 20, 2018 participate in several summer-lovin’ Telaran activities for a chance to claim new, unique in-game titles.

Get in there and close some Rifts! It’s the name of the game, after all!

• Fully seal 120 Rifts from the following categories (must be conned green):
  
  • Seal 20 Air Rifts
  • Seal 20 Fire Rifts
  • Seal 20 Water Rifts
  • Seal 20 Earth Rifts
  • Seal 20 Death Rifts
  • Seal 20 Life Rifts
• Claim victory in 20 Zone Events

Reward: Closing these Rifts and being victorious in 20 Zone Events will award you the “Planar Protector” Prefix Title.

For those PvP lovers out there, this challenge has something for you, too.

• Win 30 Warfronts
• Gain 30,000 Favor

Reward: Getting your PvP on and doing the above will earn you the “Primus” prefix title.

Not a fan of killing monsters or other players? We’ve got you covered, too.

• Earn 3 Master Craftsman Marks

Reward: Get crafting and earn 3 Master Craftsman Marks to earn the “Prime Artisan” prefix title.

The goals of these challenges must be completed during the timeframe of the challenge itself. Any Rifts closed, players killed, or marks collected before the start date or after the end date will not count towards Challenge IV. So, get out there and RIFT on!
