My name is Greg and I am the founder of 3DM whose goal was to design and release unique designs as wallpapers on the Steam platform...and we did it. :D

3DM is not a company with offices and a team. 3DM has never had external financial support. I created 3DM as a single person who used my own funds to employ freelancers who coded my crazy ideas for you. I thank them very much for their support.

Despite everything, we managed to publish 14 projects that appeared on many screens around the world. Countless problems, sleepless nights, sweat and tears. Over time, we got better and the designs were improved thanks to the support of players. Thanks to your support. Thank you with all my heart.

Desktop Mars is my new project where we combined constructive game and live wallpaper, all in the style of Minecraft / Voxel.

Big System Update

We have repaired most / all of our wallpaper systems.

Wallpaper design turned out to be something more difficult than we thought. Animated wallpapers for Windows 10 require some system settings. Despite many of our messages, someone still missed them and problems began.

After many tries, it's Big System update is ready. Most problems have probably been fixed.

90% of negative reviews describe what has been fixed:

-I can't control the wallpaper
-I can't turn off the wallpaper
-I can't uninstall this wallpaper
-My menu disappear
-Where is Taskbar to enable the second menu?
-The wallpaper is in window
-False antivirus alert
-Problem with Inputapp.exe process
-3DM website runs on my screen
-Wallpaper won't pause when I start the game
-and more

These problems should be fixed now!

In addition, the new system recognizes if the Windows 10 settings are not correct. After detecting, the wallpaper will automatically change them or show you a video on how to set it. The wallpaper itself will open a window to change the settings to "adjust the best appearance", then click the green "DONE".








There are more patches but the competition is not sleeping so we will keep them to ourselves.

The user with the correct settings will not see the difference at the beginning but in the end, the project will work much better with it.

We are very pleased that finally, we have created the system with which we are satisfied.

Everything has been tested on many PCs and everything works as it should. If you have any problems, please write below. We will fix immediately.

Some programs may still block our projects, but this is very, very rare.

I would also like to apologize to those who had problems with the settings. Creating wallpaper requires certain technologies but now everything should play.

Hello Everyone ;D

The new update brings the new access to the menu by Taskbar (next to your clock, speaker, wifi, etc.)

Now there is a new PLANET icon from where you can:

Move menu position - very useful if your menu icon will not appear on the screen (especially for multi-screen users).

Open menu - also from here you can open the menu on the screen.

Help - from here you can quickly check the latest posts with solutions for any problem.

Close app - from here you can easily close the wallpaper.


also, some of the bugs has been fixed ;D

All that should avoid any problems with access to the menu.

Many users with many screens asked for features to select only one screen to display our project. It was our priority to add such a possibility.

It works after a big fight with the Windows code!

When you start the wallpaper for the first time, a window is displayed where you can select the detected screen. The same function is available in the menu if someone wants to change the screen.

Unfortunately, after this update, you will probably lose your background settings. We are sorry :( :( :(

If you do not see any new features (probably the automatic update is disabled), you should uninstall the wallpaper and reinstall it.


We have added the "Auto Game Mode" which automatically pauses the wallpaper when you turn on the normal game full screen. It automatically gives you 100% of your PC's performance for your favourite games.

The wallpaper recognizes another application / the game is in full-screen mode and then turns off. When you turn off the game, the wallpaper automatically appears on your screens.

Attention

Some games do not turn on "real" full-screen mode, so our wallpaper does not turn off. Before you turn on such a game, you need to press the "GAMEMODE" button on the background image itself to get 100% power.

We are pleased to announce that there will be no problems with fake alerts of some antiviruses which also blocked access to the menu. We've fixed it!

Many users have reported to us or exhibited negative reviews because their anti-virus in connection with Steam and our wallpaper has initiated an alert with something that may be wrong. It also blocked access to the menu by blocking the clicking of the mouse.

Almost all negative reviews are about the problem we just repaired. We wiped the code and created a new one that does not generate any conflicts between Steam and Anti-Virus. We tested it in 70 AV programs and none see the problem :D

There will be no more alerts and blocked menus.
We also added more cameras to this project thanks to which there were even more combinations of amazing views of the planet.

We apologize for the problems and negative reviews. Unfortunately, earlier we did not know how to approach it and even fix it. Now everything will be fine.

A similar patch will be added to our other projects.

Now you can change the speed of the planet's evolution.

Some users have told us that they would like to change the speed of the planet's transformation. We listen to you, giving you this opportunity now.

There are three options to choose from:

Fast (6 min)
Normal (12 min)
Slow (24 min)

Also, in the end, we managed to add the planet's write mode. Now, after re-enabling the wallpaper, the planet will be loaded to maintain continuity.
