Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand-hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! It's the Personality Patch!

After many hours of hard graft below deck, after training with our axes for many days and nights without a stop for a drink or a toilet break, and after months of bloody toil at the big white forge in the sky, the 2.4 update is finally here!

We've been blabbering about it for months, so here's one last bit of gabber for you to absorb whilst Steam updates the game for ye. This update is chiefly about new unique voices for each class, the new game mode, Trinket Wars, the return of an old favourite map and a shipload of bugfixes.

One major feature of our new patch will be the introduction of a new game mode called Trinket Wars. Trinket Wars will replace the current Holy Grail mode, and bring a new level of team-oriented combat to the game. The mechanics are simple - each team has its own trinket to look after. As each team scores kills in the presence of their trinket carrier, they earn points toward victory. Killing an opposing team's trinket carrier awards your team a point, subtracts one from the enemy team, and replenishes health and armor to those who witnessed it. Today we introduce map tw_Temple with updated Captain voices!...

Just to clarify, this is the SECOND phase of the MOTY voting - you may have voted for us to be nominated, but now you should vote again!

It seems as though Pirates, Vikings & Knights II has been successfully nominated into the Top 100 for ModDB's Mod of the Year Awards. Huzzah! Thanks for all your help and support, chaps!
But here's where things get a bit more serious. The odds have been slimmed! It's round two! A hundred becomes five! In order to make in into that top five, we'll now we need your help once again.
