Hello fellow Piko Pikoers!

We would like to thank you for your patience. The developer and we have overcome the pandemic, and after two years of development, we are glad to announce that we have released the FULL VERSION of Piko Piko today!

The developer has made many adjustments to improve the overall quality, and here are some adjustments that we would like to share with you.



Patch Notes
  1. Added new animation for Nyan
  2. Added 4 new mana-costing power-ups for Nyan
  3. Adjusted the Dash control and can now be activated by pressing forward twice
  4. Added 6 new achievements
  5. Adjusted how players can access the Ice area in the 2nd parts
  6. Added new bomb item
  7. Added different types of life/mana upgrades in multiple areas
  8. Added stores in multiple locations
  9. Adjusted the beginning part of the game, so it is now easier to access the tower
  10. Adjusted mini car gameplay for nyan
  11. Fixed soft-lock issues in certain areas
  12. Other minor fixes


We have also revised the price along with the official release.
The price is a little higher than before, but we hope you will continue to support us and share the info about this game with your friends.

Hello fellow Piko Pikoers!

Thank you all for waiting, we are getting close to the end of development, and before we can officially call it an end we fixed a few reported bugs and added brand new BOSS RUSH!!


Patch Notes
  • Pogo jump changed from Down + jump to just DOWN key
  • Fixed your Pogo down on top of stairs
  • Fixed menu open at the start of the game when you press enter instead of X
  • Start menu - added some indications of with button to press
  • Fixed some language BOX glitches that text goes over the screen, Japanese Chinese, and Korean now does linebreak
  • Fixed problems that softlock character on the sliding
  • Added Tutorial images
  • Removed some enemies that block your path on stairs

  • Fixed the ghost boss that causes softlock outside of the screen.

  • Fixed the bug that if you die in some parts of the game, life will not fully recovered but only recover up to 100.

While Marquet has been working hard on squaring out the bugs, he managed to add a hidden boss to the game. We understand that the game has been in the early-access for quite some time already and we will try to finish it up as soon as possible. Please give us a little bit more time on it, and in the meantime, we hope you will be able to find the hidden boss and enjoy the new patch during the holidays.

If you managed to find it, then you will face the robot boss that has all kinds of special attacks!

Piko Piko is celebrating Halloween in style with all-new pumpkin enemies scattered throughout the game -- a permanent edition to the game's bestiary, delivered just in time for the season!



Additionally, we have a few fixes and tweaks for y'all, too:

  • Badge display moved to above the minimap.

  • Music added to the tower area after beating the boss

  • Boss in Tower - Boss in Tower remains after defeated. Nyan will attack the defeated boss graphic.
    This has been fixed for all bosses.

  • Underwater Area - There is no way to destroy the spiked mines with attacks. Only touching them & taking damage destroys them.
    Regular attacks can now destroy mines.

  • Underground Area - TV enemies have too much HP, causing player to get hit. Not fair to player.
    Their HP has been lowered.

  • Snow Area - Ice Cave, Angel Statue at the bottom of the cave does not save the game. It only heals HP?
    Angel Statue now saves in this location.

  • Drill is still way too powerful. Deals the most damage to bosses. No need to stun the bosses at all; just keep using the drill to win.
    Drill has been severely nerfed.

*Note: A new glitch has been introduced with this build, which sees some graphical distortion on certain enemy sprites throughout the game. This does not affect gameplay, but it has been noted and logged, and will be addressed in the next build.

We hope you have a very nice time with Piko Piko this Halloween season and beyond, and we promise, things are shaping up for this game! Slowly but surely, it's all coming together.

*There are still other issues in the game currently, but please do rest assured that we are doing our best to get things cleaned up as fast as we can! The "EXIT TO MENU" in-game pause menu option still does not work, and the SFX/music volume is still unbalanced, but we definitely haven't forgotten about these issues! Sorry for any continued inconvenience, however. This is still a work in progress, so please bear with us just a bit longer!

To all our Piko Piko fans,

This is an incremental update in terms of bug-fixes, but a huge one in terms of added content, since it now opens the entire game to testers -- you should now be able to complete it, from beginning to end! And there's a LOT to see and do.

The focus this period has been on getting it done, however, so there may be some leftover bugs from last time, as well as newly introduced ones, that could cause you some problems here and there. Such things come with the territory, however, and I think you'll agree that it'll all be worth it in the end once this game is finished and ready for its big debut!

Patch Notes
  • Fixed instance where Nyan says "JUMP!" twice in a row.
  • Added new SFX for when Piko takes her hammer from her house.
  • Fixed Teacher-Sensei's dialog bubble from being cut off the screen.
  • Fixed Nyan's helmet light so that it properly shines in Elizabeths face during post fight dialog scene.
  • Fixed light source around Piko's body.
  • Fixed the crash / softlock that would happen if you died on the boss in the tutorial.
  • Fixed the issue when the player would get stuck by entering Hideki's boss room a second time.
  • Fixed being unable to navigate the option screen with a controller. (Button functionality still being adjusted as functionality still not consolidated for all screens.
  • Fixed PRESS START on the pre-game settings menu.
  • Fixed the softlock that would occur if player continuously pressed attack during the Nyan / Piko reunited event underground.
  • Fixed the malfunctioning Nyan robot event will cause the game to soft-lock if the player ignores the robot and walks off the map.
  • Fixed issue where If Piko dies in the lava right after she defeated Yutaka, the game will take her back to the save point.
  • Fixed issue where pots could only be broken by the drill attack. Pots will now break from normal and drill attacks. Plus have a small chance to drop money also.
  • Added a new simple Tutorial to the game. (Before Piko wakes up in her house)
  • Fire Area has been redesigned to make it easier to navigate.
  • Added proper functionality to Bicycle NPC event so player can unlock the correct achievement.
  • Added pick up items to certain areas of the map. For example "Speed Up" which permanently increases Piko's movement speed. (A lot of this is still being adjusted and subject to change)
  • Removed the Uppercut attack functionality from default use.
  • Removed the jumping charge drill attack functionality from default use.
  • Various of other smaller minor bug fixes. (We have managed to close out around 50 issues with our tracking database!)
    *There are still other issues in the game currently but please do rest assured that we are doing our best to get things cleaned up as fast as we can! Currently the "EXIT TO MENU" in game pause menu option does not work also. As functionality had to be changed last minuted from the PAX build, that also included full save data wiping for demo play purposes.

    Also one large issue that we are looking into with this current build is that the SFX / Music volume levels are really low even when adjusting the slider on the pre-launch options menu. But we will be sure to have that fixed for the next build as soon as possible and do apologize about the trouble in advance.

    To all our Piko Piko fans,

    First off we would like to give our most sincere apologies for the long delays with the latest update. As you can see by the version number we have jumped a few versions due to some major issues with previous builds that took some time to fix.

    One of the largest issues too that should be working correctly is the inability to progress out from the underground town due to the Neko event not triggering correctly. There were various problems with how the event flags were not working correctly to trigger the event where you bring back ingredients to Neko, which then triggers the event that allows the player to leave the underground. Although currently in this build, shortly after the game will end with a thank you for playing the early access build screen. The proper events after this are still being adjusted so that people will be able to proceed correctly to the new zones for the next build.

    As you can see there have been various other fixes made, though we are still trying to continue to find and resolve issues where Piko can become stuck in the terrain.

    We had received a lot of positive / constructive feedback from users during our time at PAX East and we thank those who came to visit us!

Hello Piko Piko fans!

We have a small hotfix to the Version 0.14 which was found by one of our users here in the Piko Piko community! Huge thanks to them for the report and we also would like to offer our most sincere apologies for the trouble caused with the issue.

A Gif made from the users video in their report, shows the issue of the player receiving a Soda and Cookie instead of the Mega Giant Drill.

Hey there Piko Pikoers!

You all getting ready for the Winter Holidays, traffic jams and present wrapping nightmares? We know we are!

To start things off would like to give special thanks to a user named zuligan who went and took the time to write up a bunch of various issues that were still persisting in the game. The invaluable and honest feedback helped Marquet with development and we both would like to say thank you very much once again!

UPDATED December 6th 2019.
"The development of the game has been delayed till a late January of February 2020 release. We do apologize about the delay with development. The reworking of the game's Save System and changing the overall resolution of the game to improve quality took much longer than expected. We are back on schedule now with development and will continue to keep you all here informed of new updates and development happenings, so stay tuned!

A bit longer than usual update post this time around but we always appreciate the thumbs up you give and thank you for continuing to support Piko Piko!
