It is our pleasure to announce that our latest game Elewder, the hotly anticipated erotic twin-stick shooter roguelike, will be coming to Steam’s Early Access on October 27th!

We have been working hard all year on this game, and have finally advanced the development to the beta state, from here on out we will be looking to balance our combat and progression mechanics, incorporate community feedback and suggestions, polish our presentation and visuals, and implement our narrative. The Early Access platform provides the perfect space to do just that.



The upcoming beta release means that all of our desired gameplay mechanics and loops are implemented within the game itself, some like the core gameplay loop are more fleshed out than others, but the bones that make up the whole game are in place and ready for more content.





Here is what you can expect from Elewder in the Early Access launch:

• All 15 levels and the level progression are in the game. If can overcome the labyrinth, you can make it to the end of the game and face off against the Succubus herself.
  
• All 5 unique biome and tilesets are read to explore. Each boss you encounter will have a unique staging area that will eventually change the enemies you face off against.
  
• All 5 bosses are ready to be conquered. Face off against the mighty Succubus Queen and her four Generals.
  
• A basic dialogue and narrative system. The narrative elements in Elewder will come with time, the basic system and dialogue overlays are in the game only as a placeholder for now.
  
• A handful of items and spells to equip. While a far cry from the total items we plan to add, the items in the beta release will help inform you all on how combat will eventually end up.
  
• Unique rooms to uncover. The total unique rooms to be found in Elewders maze is only numbering in the few, with more to come from our own plans and community feedback.
  
• Basic implementation of our dynamic OST. The soundtrack for Elewder is being handcrafted right now, and our system for dynamically scaling the music is at its infancy.

Here is what we will be adding during the Early Access development time:

• Major balance and economy modifications. Our goal is to make each run of Elewder enjoyable, unique, and accessible while maintaining a skillful gameplay design.
  
• Massive variety of enemies and encounters. The minions of the Succubus army should and will feel unique, each room you enter, every floor you conquer will lead to more varied and interesting combat scenarios.
  
• Highly erotic and detailed animation sets. We want every single animation in Elewder to be dripping with lust and erotic energies.
  
• Narrative and Plot. The story of Elewder and the tutorials/interactions found within her walls will be a delight to many. A real focus will be placed on finding the right voice actors for each role and bringing them to life with amazing performances.
  
• Gameplay modifications and earning your win. Right now only a handful of gameplay items and spells can be found in Elewder. We aim to increase the total number of items to around 100 and spells to roughly the same. No two runs will ever be the same.
  
• Meta Gameplay and progression. Failure is not the end in Elewder, each run will reward the player a chance to grow their power outside the run, making the game that much more rewarding to play.
  
• Rooms to explore. Each run will have a host of unique and powerful rooms and NPC’s to find and understand, some powerful, some not so much.
  
• A uniquely composed soundtrack. Our team is hard at work composing a unique orchestra-metal-infused soundtrack for the game, the tracklisting right now is around 13 3-4 minute tracks that will blow your minds once you hear it.

Hey friends! Thanks for continuing to play Pieces of my Heart! The response from the last patch has been fantastic, so this patch we wanted to address a couple of the localization issues we had. Long story short we are still building the missing languages but we have replaced the previously empty slots with the English texts until we can get the content done.

New Additions:

• Chinese Simplified and Korean localization completed and added to the game.
  
• Temporary English texts used to fill in the other languages missing localization texts. This is a temporary solution while the texts are being localized.

Fixes:

• Adjusted and normalized the volume for all SFX and Vocals in the game.
  
• Reset the volume slider for vocal work, check your options menu to see the settings if volumes are too quiet.

It seems the Titter girls have something to say! Welcome to the Conversation update to Pieces of my Heart version 1.7.0. This update has been in the works for quite some time, a lot of work has been done and we will likely continue to make tweaks to this update going forward since so much has changed.



Every single date in the game now has a full conversation tree in the Cute Mode reward scene, overall we added 1 full hour of recorded dialogue to the game and 12 new unlockable reward images for bridging the gap between the Cute and Slut Mode scenes.

Unfortunately, we ran out of time with this patch (almost two months so far) so the localization work will have to come in a later patch, my apologies non-english speakers! We also will be reworking how loud the new dialogue content is in the next patch, so for now if everything is a little too loud, simply adjust the vocal slider in the options menu just a fraction and the game will correct itself.

New Additions:

• 12 new fully voiced conversation trees added to released dates.
  
• 12 new reward images for completing conversation trees correctly.
  
• Puzzle Vocals added to both Cute Mode and Slut Mode for all released dates.
  
• Replaying dates always awards Stars depending on difficulty.
  
• New tutorials added to explain the conversion tree.

Fixes:

• Minor difficulty tweaks applied to puzzles.
  
• Temp volume adjustments made to the vocal slider in the options menu.
  
• Removed unused unlock spaces to avoid confusion.

A quick patch today, the previous patch included an engine upgrade for Unity which introduced a new codec for h264 videos in engine that no longer supported Windows 7 operating systems. Meaning if you owned Pieces of my Heart and played on Windows 7 PC’s you would have a game-breaking bug where transitions could no longer work and would freeze the game.

We have now fixed that, it took a bit of time to find what was causing it, but now if you are on Windows 7 the game will see this by default and use a VP8 codec which is supported by the native OS codecs and work. Anyone on a newer operating system will not be affected.

However, if there are still issues for you, please take a look within the options menu for the transitions toggle. Turning it off will remove the transitions altogether and allow you to play without issue.

New Additions:

• Unlockable backgrounds added to the game.
  
• Puzzles now have combo vocals. We will be adding more if you all like them.
  
• Added a reset button on puzzle pages, this will allow players to reattempt the puzzle they are on if they make a mistake on the dialogue choice. If there are any complications then this will also reset that, however, we should have fixed all of the bugs that make that happen.
  
• Added a new tutorial line for attempting to make a rotation in easy mode. It will be voiced very soon.

Fixes:

• Cum emission optimizations, should run a lot smoother now.
  
• Game difficulty reduced by a large margin. Puzzle sizes are smaller and combos are easier to keep. If die-hard fans want the original difficulty to remain we can add a master mode.
  
• Updated to latest Unity version to fix issues with optimizations.
