Hi, Alex here for an extremely exciting post! We’re finally ready to announce a release date for Paralives’ Early Access, which will be December 8, 2025, and we made a brand new trailer for the occasion! We also have many details to share regarding the game’s release, so please read on!

We’re happy to reveal a new trailer for Paralives! You can watch it at the top of the post or on Youtube. We made this trailer to announce the release date of the game and to showcase parts of the Paralives town and its citizens. We got the opportunity to present it at the PC Gaming Show, which happened today! We are so excited to have been part of this event and we hope that more people will now look forward to Paralives.

Paralives will come out on Steam in Early Access on December 8, 2025! 🎈🥳🎉🎊

As it will be Early Access, players will probably find that the game needs more content. Our goal with Early Access is to provide a first enjoyable experience that has room to grow, so that we can collect feedback from players and improve the game. We’re looking forward to jumping into this next exciting phase of Paralives’ development!

To celebrate the release date announcement, we have a brand new key art to use on our Steam page. A huge thank you to Mario Miravalles who did this amazing illustration!

Also, we’ve changed our logo! We’re a bit sad to say goodbye to our old one but we really felt like updating it so that it better represents the mood of the game. The new hand-written aspect shows that the game is all about creativity and also, it gives a more personal vibe, just like the stories you will be able to tailor for your Parafolks.

Paralives will cost $39.99 USD when it comes out in Early Access this December. After the Early Access phase, when the game launches its 1.0 version, we plan to increase the price of the game. Our goal here is to thank early players with a smaller price tag as core gameplay features are still being improved, bugs are being fixed, and content is being added.

As a reminder, during Early Access and after, the game will only ever get free updates and expansions and will never have any paid DLCs. This decision stems from the fact that, as life simulation fans ourselves, we believe that players deserve a complete experience when purchasing a game. Since we are a small independent team, the sales from the base game will be enough to sustain the development of exciting new features and content for Paralives.

For those who are curious about what to expect from Paralives at launch in terms of features, here’s an overview. Please note that upcoming features are not listed in priority order. Also, after the game has completed its Early Access development phase, we plan to add even more features and content!

As you can see, the game already has a considerable number of features! We’re eager to improve these and add even more during Early Access to make this life simulation game as complete and as good as possible following the feedback that we will receive from you, the players.
