Once again the world is on the brink of another catastrophe and you are the front line!

The new Mutation DLC is here!
It adds a 5th purple disease to the game that appears in unpredictable ways as well as new event cards!
You must either deal with all 5 diseases or cure the 4 basic ones whilst having no purple cubes on the board.

This DLC introduces a new game mode fully compatible with the other expansions: Virulent Strain and Roles & Events!

New Rules

If during the Infection phase you draw a mutation card, an Infection card will be drawn from
the bottom of the Infection Deck and one purple cube will be added to that city.
Then both cards will go to the Discard pile.
Note that you do not place a cube of the card’s color on the city.


OH! And one last thing:
Like any other disease, if you cannot place the number of purple cubes needed on the board, your team loses.
There are only 12 (not 24) purple cubes in the supply!

Many thanks for all your feedback as they helped us a lot in improving the game.

Here are changes to notice in this patch:

- The game now preselects a card for you when sharing, to allow faster play.
- You can now disable character animations in the options.
- You can now change your game settings directly in the game selection screen.
- Small localization corrections.
- Fix the bug when the game would not ask you to play Resilient Population after an outbreak.
- Add a little highlight on the current player in the Team details.
- After using a Forecast or the Troubleshooter ability, you can now access the top cards you've already seen.
- You must now enable the Roles & Event extension to use 5 player games, as the board game.
- You can now click on the end game animation to skip it.
- When selecting cards in the card selector, the first one should not be clipped.
- When selecting a card for an event action (ie : Resilient Population, …), you should now be able to hide the UI to look at the map with the eye button.
- Various tweaks and optimizations.
- Complete rework of the pause menu.

The new pause menu adds a lot of information.
When you are in pause now you can :

➤ Go back to the main menu, show the rules, access the parameters, as it was already the case.
These are the 3 square buttons on the top left corner.
➤ Show the disease cards already drawn, show the discard of the city cards (frome the players).
This is the pile of cards on the left, the arrows allow you to move from one to the other and the cards are shown to the right.
➤ Have a reminder of the game mode (event cards, activated mode (virulent strain) and number of epidemic cards (difficulty). These are the 3 icons in the top right corner.

The new Pandemic with a new Virulent Strain with Roles and Events! is now over Steam! We have implemented a new interface for an all-new game experience!

Time of crisis need special solution that’s why we also release the Roles and event DLCs:

• 6 New roles (does NOT include Bioterrorist)
  
• 8 New event cards
  
• New mechanic to define which / how many event cards are included. Like the rules says, we are now including 2 x players event cards (so 4cards with 2 players, to 10 with 5 players)

You save the world twice today, time for new Challenge with the Virulent Strain DLC:

• 8 new epidemic cards with specific rules (Virulent strain)
  
• Specific animations for epidemics
  
• Specific feedback for ongoing virulent strain effects

One last information, if at least you have one of the DLC’s you will have access to the New difficulty level: Legendary...with 7 epidemic cards...Good luck with that one specialist!

A Pandemic is spreading on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, but this time it’s not an emergency!

With the release of Pandemic on these new platforms we have implemented an array of new features that you’ve been requesting for an all-new game experience! We’ve modified the entire interface in order to give you the best experience possible on your mission to save humanity.

This all-new Pandemic version is not yet available on Steam, Android and iOS, but rest assured that we will update all of these in the near future. We will keep you updated on this topic soon, so stay tuned!

Now with 5 difficulty levels, you can play on your own terms! When playing with a specific specialist, their ability will be shown on the screen to help you identify more clearly what the best move would be for your team… and to overcome epidemics of course. You will also enjoy the new menu: clearer, simpler and more intuitive. There is way more to discover on this new Pandemic experience!

The cooperation between players is a key feature of the boardgame and you have made it clear that a multi-player mode is necessary on the digital version. As multiplayer is not available on this new version of Pandemic for the moment, we are still investigating how we could implement it in the future.

We can’t wait for you to get your hands on this new version of the game, specialist!

As wumohan reported, there was a bug that affected the Korean and Simplified Chinese versions of the game. We just released a minor update to tackle this issue. We tested it as much as possible considering we don't speak neither Chinese nor Korean. So, specially if you do speak Korean or Chinese, your feedback is welcome

Of course, we know that it's not what most of you guys have been waiting for. We do read your message. And, well ... I can't tell you much, but believe me, we are working for you. ;)

Just in case we missed something that prevents you from playing you can revert to the previous version with a few simple steps:
In the games library, right click Pandemic and open the Properties
Go to the tab Beta
In the dropdown menu, choose "comeback - Previous version"
Validate

Note: you can change back to the Default branch to get the regular version.
