• 🩸 A reminder of the Seed system:

The Seed system allows you to play and compare your progress with friends.

A Seed is a code (a small line of digits between 6 and 7) that determines everything in a campaign: the order of missions spawned, the monsters encountered and the stats of the player's characters.

Sharing a Seed with a friend brings comparison and competition to the game:
- You will find your Seed number by going to the option menu in game and check the bottom right corner of your screen.
- To use someone else's Seed, you will need to start a new save. Then, the game will propose you to enter a Seed.

• 🩸 What is the Beat the Seed challenge?

This challenge is called Beat the Seed, and will be based on.. well.. the Seed system we added to the game last June! We already did two similar challenges to see if the format fitted your expectations as players. It is a competition where everyone plays the same Seed (same missions, bonuses, etc.).


To play this Seed, you will need to start a new save and the game will propose you to enter a Seed. If you struggle, please use seeds.

• The winner will be the one with the highest score on the first day of Era 3: The Cellar Prison, in 1st Recollection before playing any Synapses in Era 3. Or expressed differently: just after Era 2. To participate, reach the first day of Era 3, and hit End recollection.
  
• The score is calculated like this: the number of enemies killed / (the number of sacrificed + fallen daughters).
  
• We will need the screenshot of your End of Recollection screen and save file (named _save_0).

After the Beauty Will Remain Update and Dressed To Kill DLC launched on December 13 and proposing you a customization feature, some players reported a bug that reset the weapon appearance during specific actions. To offer you the best game experience in Othercide, here is a Patch fixing this issue.

• When triggering a cutscene in fight (backstabs, interruption skills, etc.) the weapons are no longer resetting to the default appearance

This update, containing a new customization feature and bugfixes, is accompanied by the Dressed To Kill - Cosmetics Pack, a paid DLC with exclusive design options for the daughters and their weapons.



A whole new feature has been added to Othercide: a customization tool. You will now be able to modify your daughters' appearance as much as you want. The weapons are also customizable now.

To do so, you will have to go to the daughters overview. You just need to click on "R" to customize your daughter. There, you can either rename your daughter or change her appearance.

• Hairtcuts: 25 variations common for all archetype (base game content, but ability to choose between them)
  
• Eyes: 12 variations common for all archetype (base game content, but ability to choose between them)
  
• Clothes: Base game variation + 1 additional : 2 variations in total per archetype
  
• Weapons: base game variation + 4 additional : 5 variation in total per archetype
  
• FX around the daughters:
  - Shards FX : base game variation + 2 additional + disabled = 4 variations
  - Mist FX: base game variation + 2 additional + disabled = 4 variations

• Enemies no longer fall under the level on some maps.
  
• Some maps' areas were erroneously inaccessible, despite being supposed to be accessible. This is now fixed.
  
• The AOE feedback of Maid “Destiny Shift” now correctly moves with the maid when she teleports.
  
• Saves made on the last day of an era no longer create issues with the boss mission in certain cases.
  
• Timeline should no longer show the wrong values under certain conditions during missions.

Othercide also gets a paid DLC that includes additional, more elaborated customization options, for Clothes, Eyes and Weapons:

• Clothes: 5 additional clothes variations per archetype
  
• Eyes: 18 additional eyes variations common for all archetypes
  
• Weapons: 4 colored variations per additional variation of weapon, per archetype: 16 additional weapons color variations per archetype

It's official, Othercide will have a customization feature! You will be able to change your daughters' eye colors, haistyles, garments, etc.

We always read carefuly your suggestions in the Discord and on Steam. Modifying the appearance of your daughters was asked really often and we wanted to give you the possibility to have a personalized experience in Othercide.

In June with the Sharing Is Caring Update, you could change the name of your daughters in the daughters overview. Now, with this totally new feature, you'll be able to change their whole looks too!




This paid DLC will contain more customization options, with numerous eyes modifications, exclusive skins for weapons and new outfit options!

  • Allows you to play and compare your progress and strategies with friends.
    
  • A Seed is a code (a small line of digits between 6 and 7) that determines everything in a campaign: the order of missions spawned, the monsters encountered and the stats of the player characters
    
  • Seeds you can try:
    - 636425: With this Seed, you'll profit from an event early on that will let you do more than one battle with a daughter a day. Great to multiply your xp gain quickly and start your run strong!
    But watch out, while the event is active you won't be able to manage your daughters, so be careful. However, the enemies will also benefit from the damage bonus; so be prepared.
    - 280342: Start your run with some warm-up! A balanced Seed starting with easy missions and becoming more difficult as you progress in the first era.
    - 161391: This Seed will give you a rescue mission as your third mission on a not-so-common map at such an early stage. Also you should encounter the Adrenaline event around the same time, which will give you a pretty nice damage boost for a start.

• Renaming the Daugthers

• Sorting mode now locked for Daughters lists
  
• The pop up window to end the turn during a fight has been removed

7.46 and after:

• Lack of Ritual missions spawning.
  
• Finishing a run by defeating the final boss may reset the memories section of the codex.
  
• Using a remembrance allowing to skip an area may cause various numerous glitches.
  
• The event "Extinguished" breaks when a Synapse is closed while the event is active.
  
• The voice lines of the Mother and Bosses may overlap.
  
• When a daughter has a specific hairstyle (bangs), if she enters a synapse with one other daughter or more, she may copy the hairstyle of one of them during the following mission.
  
• Not enough enemies during a penance mission on the “Quarantine Bridge” and “The Dark Corner” to escape with all daughters.
