The new update 2.2.032 for OMSI 2 is available. The following things changed: Defective spawn of AI vehicles, their landing behaviour and the collision detection has been improved. Entrypoint listings of wrong maps and range errors for OMSI 1 maps, e.g. the map Neuendorf, have been corrected. Further errors on the map and a possible cause for activation issues with add-ons on Steam have been remedied with this patch as well. For more information, check out the OMSI forums. >>Link<<

The long-awaited Add-On “Chicago Downtown” for OMSI 2 is now available and it comes around with lots of new features and improvements! Allow yourself to feel like a bus driver on the lines 124 and 130 and transport your passengers in more than 20 miles of road network safely to their destinations. However, the developers didn’t focus at bus and street details only. There are numerous sights in the third largest city of the U.S., which you can see in the game too. But all of this faithful environment should be treated with concentration, because your reactivity could be in demand otherwise, at any time!

Allow yourself to feel like a bus driver on the lines 124 and 130 and transport your passengers in more than 20 miles of road network safely to their destinations. The Developer team has worked on some substantial improvements: Now passengers sitting in a vehicle part that has no exits now properly leave their section and move to another one and the bug, that reduced the calculated special vehicle density many times over, has been fixed. Furthermore the probability of special vehicles (fire department, transporters) on Spandau has been reduced to 20% of the previous value.

The omnibus operations don’t stand still – most recently, Update 2.2.016 for OMSI 2 has been released and comes with some welcome novelties. Amongst them is the quicksave feature, allowing you to quickly save the current game state yourself. Preselecting your entry point before loading the map as well as the possibility to deactivate the preview window for bus selection helps to reduce the loading times significantly.
