Nuclear Dawn - psychonic
An optional update for Nuclear Dawn has been released. THe notes are below.

  • Fixed issues getting stuck unable to spawn sometimes when there are many bots in the server.
  • Fixed supply stations bypassing player cooldowns for receiving more grenades and hypospray shots.
  • Fixed bots not knowing how to path about commander-built walls and barriers.
  • Added new server config bot_profiles.txt to cfg folder for server operators to be able to configure bot profiles. Default one ships with many more profiles per difficulty.
  • Stealth class bots will no longer be automatically added (such as via bot_quota) by default until they are reworked. ConVar bot_stealth_enable has been added for ability to override.
  • Other minor bot improvements.

Notes from August 5th update.

  • Tutorial videos are now streamed online rather than stored locally.
  • Other file cleanup, with the above, causing the game to take up 15-20% less space on disk.

  • Fixed bots getting stuck when spawning at one of the Consortium Transport Gates on Silo.

  • Fixed copying text from console or some other panels including an extra character to the right of selection.

  • Improved client server networking defaults, and increased maximum rate.
  • Enabled sv_voicecodec server ConVar. Valid values are "vaudio_celt" and "vaudio_speex".
  • Reverted some changes causing some new issues with building placement and physics crashes.
  • Ported fixes for multiple security vulnerabilities in the Source engine.

For dedicated servers, this update is optional, but highly recommended.
  • Improved spawn logic:
    • Fixed cases where player wouldn't automatically spawn after their selected spawn was destroyed.
    • Fixed cases where player wouldn't be completely spawned (bad view offset and missing model, weapons, etc.).
    • Fixed bots always preferring spawn closest to enemy bunker, even over commander-selected default spawn.
    • Bots are now always added to end of respawn queue.
    • Humans are now always placed before bots in respawn queue.
  • Reduced base brightness for Thermal Vision.
  • Fixed bots attempting to use Supply Stations that aren't powered or otherwise unusuable.
  • Fixed artillery being able to fire before being fully built.
  • Fixed multiple (but not all [:|] issues where a structure could be built where it shouldn't, such as on top of other structures, of own team or otherwise.
  • Fixed a bug that could allow commanders to build bunker structures from assembler or vice versa, including after assembler destruction.
  • Fixed a bug that could allow commanders to research armory research items from bunker or vice versa, including after armory destruction.
  • Fixed in-armory class changes sometimes not working when armory was not on even ground.
  • Fixed Soldier tutorials not properly changing player subclass during Exo and Support training since 2015 armory class change exploit fix.
  • Commanders now only gain half XP for following their own orders.
  • Added even more stability fixes from other Source engine variants.
  • Enabled con_logfile ConVar.
  • Added bullet_impact server event.
  • More stability fixes.
