Hey Maplers,

We are excited to announce the NA Interactive World Merge that was mentioned in one of Inkwell’s previous notes. Our goal with this merge is to create a more vibrant and connected experience by encouraging more opportunities for player interaction.

We also want to thank everyone who participated in the world merge survey from March 19th to April 1st. While the majority of the players supported some form of a merge, opinions were split on the number of worlds. After careful review, we’ve decided to move forward with retaining the very first two original worlds, Scania and Bera. We believe this will help create a more balanced population, boost the in-game economy, and improve player interaction, all while keeping our servers stable.

For Maplers whose worlds are affected by this merge, please refer to the details below:

• Interactive worlds, Aurora and Elysium, will be consolidated into Scania.
• Scania channels will be increased to a total of 30 channels.

World Merge FAQ
To help you better prepare for the World Merge, please review the following FAQs during this process. Please note that we will be sharing additional updates and details at a later date.

Does this change how I log in?

• Yes. If you were in Aurora or Elysium, you will now log into your new merged world, Scania, from the world selection screen.

What happens when I exceed the max number of 58 character slots?

• All character slots from the merging worlds (Scania, Aurora, and Elysium) will be combined, including default slots. Your character display order will be reset.
• Up to 58 characters will be visible on the character selection screen.
  • If you have more than 58 characters, a Character Selection UI will appear where you must select 58 characters to display. Non-selected characters are not permanently removed but will be temporarily inaccessible until you remove some other characters. This UI will be available until January 2026.
  • If 58 characters are not selected before the UI is removed, the highest level characters will automatically be displayed.
  • You will not be able to create new characters unless the excess characters have been deleted.

What happens to shared features like Storage, Cash Shop and Auction House?

• Storage Items
  • Storage slots will be merged up to a maximum of 152 slots. Items beyond the limit will be hidden and can be retrieved by removing existing items.
• Storage Mesos
  • Mesos from all merging worlds will be combined up to 499 billion (499,999,999,999) mesos. Excess mesos will be sent as coins via the Gift Drop.
• Cash Inventory
  • Items beyond the limit will be hidden and will appear as space is available.
• Auction House
  • Items beyond the limit will be hidden until space is available. To buy or sell again, you must move items to your character's inventory.

Will my Guild be affected?

• Guild names must be unique per world. If there are duplicates, names will be automatically renamed with random characters.
• Renamed guilds and alliances will receive a name change UI upon login, and only the Leader can change the name.
  • If your leader is inactive, please contact Player Support.

Will the Maple Rewards Shop purchase limit reset?

• No, the purchase limit will not reset with the merge.
• The next reset will occur with the start of the next calendar month.

Get ready for some serious nostalgia, because after years away, the classic GM event Ola Ola is finally making its comeback. 

Join us for a special test run of Ola Ola this Wednesday, July 30th PDT! We know it's been a while, so this first event is all about making sure we get it just right. If this test run goes smoothly, there's a good chance Ola Ola could become a recurring active event. And if it proves successful, it might also pave the way for us to reintroduce other classic in-game events you've been missing.

How to Participate:

• Log in to MapleStory and catch us in Channel 11.Head over to Lith Harbor and talk with NPC Jean.

• Click 'Okie! Let's go together!' to proceed to the Ola Ola event map!

How to Play:

• You'll be dropped into the event map and you must find your way through ladders and tricky portals!

• Choose the correct portal to move up to the next level.

• Reach Level 3 within the time limit to complete Ola Ola!

We understand and are aware of the sentiment surrounding the Ride or Die Returns event and the miscommunication of the weekly reset date of the event. • The Talent icons for the Arcanas were slightly misaligned. Laoire was informed and he has since brought them back in line.
• The notification text when using a Memory of a Story book has been adjusted to show in full.
• The ranking list shown when viewing the Previous Guild Point Rank Info has had the test guilds removed, and will now display the proper rankings.
  • Congrats to Goodmorning for having the most Guild Points earned prior to the Guild Renewal!
• The Duration text for Divine Retribution was incorrect and has been adjusted. This is a text only error, no gameplay has been adjusted.
  • At Rank 1:
    • Before: Equal to the Shield skill with the longest duration + 6 sec.
    • After: Equal to the Shield skill with the longest duration
  • The additional duration time was a holdover from a previous version of the skill that had a much longer cooldown, and no behavior that could reduce the cooldown.
• In addition to the above list, we've also included fixes for several smaller typos (such as a missing space after your character name in the Arcana questlines) and text display errors from the July patch. There was a high word count in this update (same for next month! exciting times for Mabinogi~), so we are thankful for the quick reports to allow us quicker fixes.

• Season 2 of the Erinn Adventure Pass will wrap up at the end of this month for those still needing to complete levels.

• Unused Karma Bright Cubes that were obtained from the Morning Star Feast event prior to the fix on 7/20/2025 (Known Issues Page) will now function properly so that the "AFTER" potential option can be chosen.
  • Players that used any of the faulty Karma Bright Cubes from the Morning Star Feast will have them returned at a later date after further investigation. Please refer to the known issues page for more details.
• Resolved an issue where the Lynn's [Focus] Awaken skill would return to a 120 second (2 minute) cooldown when [Focus] Awaken Boost Skill was obtained.
• Resolved an issue where compensation boxes would work incorrectly if players had a previous compensation box in their inventory and received a new compensation box.
  • Players who experienced this issue are able to claim their items from the Maple Administrator.
• Resolved an issue where the Code X boss fight within the Ride or Die could be entered while having Totems equipped.
• Resolved an issue where Kanna's skill Spirit's Domain Boost was providing the incorrect amount of Final Damage.
• Resolved an issue on Hyperion where the Mysterious Monsterbloom was not available to be purchased from the Memento Coin Exchange Vendor in the Morning Star Banquet event.
• Resolved an issue where Kanna's skill Vanquisher's Charm was outperforming the damage from its 6th job counterpart HEXA Vanquisher's Charm until level 7.
• Resolved an issue where using the Developer Hat Selection Box would not provide the correct hat.
• Resolved an issue where using Bowmaster's HEXA Phoenix and HEXA Shadow Raven skills would cause the UI to become transparent despite not being in combat.
• Resolved a text issue with the dialogue of the Head Servant in the Morning Star Fountain event.
• Resolved a text issue with the event dates given by Dave where asking 'How to Play' would provide a blank date template in the Save the Diver event.
• Resolved an issue where players were unable to equip Commerci Set-Up Items to their Commerci Vessels.

• During the Miracle Time period, using a Cash Cube to upgrade an item to Legendary Rank will activate the "Double Miracle Time Blessing" buff for the map.

• Equipment for other slots does not benefit from this instance of the Miracle Summer event.
