The details for this update are as follows:



Brand New Content
I. New Showdown Gameplay: Tempered Inferno

In the Soul-forging Abyss hidden in the Shadowjade Mine, the "Chaos Furnace" that once refined the legendary weapons of the Herald used to be alight day and night. However, under the mad scheme of Omnius, a drastic change occurred.

After Omnius's plan to revert the Five Phases back to primordial chaos was foiled by the heroes, some formless chaotic Qi escaped and seeped into the Chaos Furnace. A bursting of energy flooded out because of the imbalanced Five Elements within, attracting countless evil spirits into action. Thus, a battle to protect the furnace began.

In this crisis, the heroes used Chaos Stones crafted by the Chaos Furnace to forge Curios imbued with the powers of Yin and Yang. These Curios then became their weapons to slay demons and eradicate evils.

However, as the energy of the Chaos Furnace continued to leak, the furnace fire gradually weakened. The heroes who sought more Curios could only wait for the Five Phases True Qi to return to balance on the Morus Isle before they could once again awaken the Furnace.

Defeat waves of enemies, claim numerous prizes, and revel in the power of the Curios!



II. New Showdown Item: Curio

Each hero has two Curio slots: Yin and Yang. One Curio can be equipped in each slot.

1. Crafting Curios

Chaos Stones, acquired in Tempered Inferno, can be used to craft Curios. There are two kinds of Curio crafting: Random Craft and Targeted Craft.

[Random Craft]:

[Random Craft] produces a random Curio of the current season, and builds XP to boost its Crafting level.

[Targeted Craft]:

Once you have raised a given Curio to Lv. 1, you'll be able to choose to craft that Curio using [Targeted Craft].

At the end of the season, Curios will be reclaimed, but Crafting Levels will be retained. In following seasons, players with Crafting levels will be able to craft Curios from past seasons. From time to time we will hold Rerun Events for players who missed out.

During the season, each Curio Crafting level you upgrade will increase the season progress by 1. Season progress rewards include Flux Shards, Curio crafting materials and more!

2. Curio Stars

Curios can be smelted into Chaos Extract, a resource used in leveling up Curios.

Each level gained grants an attribute of a random quality and type (that the Curio does not already have). A Curio can have at most 4 attributes.

3. Awakening Curios and Harmonic Balance

Extreme Curio raised to 3-Star level can be awakened with Tempered Essence.

If successful, the Curio gains random awakened attributes (these differ between Curios).

Failure will result in the loss of the lowest-quality or lowest-level attribute. You can still raise the Curio's stars to get a new attribute. Each failure boosts your awakening chance across all Curios.

With both an awakened Yin and Yang Curio, you unlock [Harmonic Balance] for all your heroes (whether you have the Curios equipped or not), boosting your Luck by 2,000, and your team's by 1,000.

Boosts can stack. Lasts until Tempered Inferno reopens next season.



III. Limited-time Event: Hunting Grounds

Event Duration: Apr. 17, 2025 Update - May. 21, 2025 20:00 (UTC)

Event Rules:

1. During the event, hunt Scorpions, Lizards, Squirrels, and Rats in Survival Modes to get Hunting Grounds Chests.

2. Each player can get up to 2 Hunting Grounds Chests per match, up to 6 per day.

3. Use a Hunting Grounds Chest for a chance to get Golden Light Outfit Choice Gift, Golden Light Weapon Choice Gift, Golden Light Party Choice Gift, Golden Light Accessory Choice Gift, Gold, Floral Dew, Splendor Treasure Choice Gift, Jade Disk, Splendor Treasure Shard Choice Gift or Floral Dew Shard.



IV. Limited-time Event: Underground Treasures

Event Duration: Apr. 17, 2025 Update - May. 7, 2025 20:00 (UTC)

Event Rules:

1. During the event, earn Flame Gems by opening Stashes in Survival modes or through Casual Modes and Showdown. You can acquire up to 400 Flame Gems per week through these modes.

2. Tap the Hunt button on the event page to randomly receive ores of the same type. Collect five of the same ore to claim corresponding rewards.

4. Claim 50 extra Flame Gems upon first entering the event page each week. The weekly Flame Gems limit and extra Flame Gems reset every Wednesday at 20:00 (UTC).



V. Limited-time Events: Infernal Reckoning

Event Duration: Apr. 17, 2025 Update - Apr. 31, 2025 20:00 (UTC)

Event Rules:

1. Gain Omen Coins by completing quests during the event. Omen Coin can be redeemed for great event rewards.

2. Complete each day's Daily Quests to receive bonus rewards.

3. There are 5 groups of Challenge Quests, each available in turn at different times. Complete quests to claim plentiful rewards.

4. The rewards are redeemable till May 07, 2025 at 20:00 (UTC). Please redeem the rewards in time.



VI. Limited-time Event: Fire of Seven Stars

Event Duration: Apr. 17, 2025 Update - Apr. 23, 2025 20:00 (UTC)

Event Rules:

Players who sign in a total of 3 days during the event can receive Ignis Treasure, Splendor Treasure Choice Gift, Jade Disks.



VII. Limited-time Event: Moonlit Tribute

Event Duration: Apr. 27, 2025 20:00 (UTC) - May. 7, 2025 20:00 (UTC)

Event Rules:

During the event, you can earn Jade Disks from activities such as Daily Quests, Baize's Blessing, limited-time events, and The Hero Returns. Use the Jade Disks to redeem generous rewards at Lunar Pavilion.



Hero Adjustments
I. Tianhai

Adjusted the damage multiplier of Great Vajra's smash attack after seizing two enemies from 12.0 to 12.5.



II. Yueshan

1. Extended the duration of Defense Focus after landing from [Scorching Dash: Weaken] to cover the full recovery frames.

2. Slightly reduced the judgment scene height when Yueshan casts his ultimate.

//Dev Note: Since different maps feature various design styles, and real battle scenes tend to be more complex, it's difficult to establish a universal spatial judgment standard for casting transform ultimates. If the judgment is based solely on model size, it becomes easier to cast the ultimate, but this can lead to larger characters getting stuck in narrow doorways, unable to move freely in or out of the scene. On the other hand, increasing the judgment size ensures the space meets battle requirements after transformation, but it also makes successful transformation more difficult. Therefore, after comparing multiple scenes, we decided to slightly reduce the judgment height to accommodate more transformation scenarios.



III. Temulch

1. For the ultimate [Storm Prison: Reload]: When Temulch uses the reloaded windballs after passing through a wind wall, his skill will not enter CD.

2. When Temulch already has windballs in store, passing through a wind wall will not generate additional windballs.



IV. Takeda Nobutada

Increased all the recovery effects after enabling the ultimate: Increase [Demonic Strike]'s recovery multiplier from 150% to 180% in [Demonic Aid], [Demonic Aid: Teleport]'s recovery multiplier from 30% to 50%, and [Demonic Strike: Havoc]'s recovery multiplier from 750% to 800% in [Demonic Aid: Force].



V. Viper Ning

Adjusted [Yushan Strike]'s CD from 15 sec to 18 sec.



VI. Zai

Reduced the stagger time caused when the ultimate weapon Chain Scythe hits a downed enemy with a sliding horizontal strike.


Weapon Adjustments
I. Flying Knives

1. The crosshair now becomes red when you aim at an enemy with Flying Knives.

2. Flying Knives thrown by Charged Vertical Strikes now hit with a slightly wider range and faster flying speed.

3. Flying Knives thrown by 1st-stage Vertical Strikes now hit with a slightly wider range.

4. Optimized the character displacement when landing a charged horizontal strike while sprinting.

5. Optimized the displacement speed when performing a grappling strike with the Flying Knives.

6. Added grappling hook buffering to the 3rd-stage vertical strikes.

7. Hidden Barb can interrupt an enemy's Common Attack from 1m away.

8. Adjusted the damage multiplier of 3rd stage Horizontal Strikes from 2.77 to 3.3.

9. Adjusted the damage multiplier of the Flying Knives' Uppercut Slashes from 1.26 to 1.64.

10. Adjusted the damage multiplier of the Flying Knives' sliding attack from 1.18 to 1.54.

11. Shortened the Flying Knives' 2nd stage Vertical Strikes' start-up frames, and adjusted its damage multiplier from 1.36 to 1.8.



II. Longsword

Delayed the activation time for Grappling Hook use while wielding a Longsword with [Cyan Fang] equipped.


Souljade Adjustments
I. Staff Souljade

Increased [Stanchion·Rising·Sky Pillar]'s hit range.



II. Flying Knives Souljades

[Moonshards Storm]'s damage multiplier has been adjusted from 5.8 to 6.96.



In-game Adjustments
I. Gameplay Adjustments

1. Adjusted Draco Storm: Removed the possessor's Armor Recovery and adjusted Thunder damage from 150 to 100.

2. Added default starting armor (common) to Survival Mode.



Out-of-game Adjustments
I. Brand-new Store: [Lunar Pavilion]

1. Jade Disks can be obtained through Weekly Regular Rewards, Baize's Blessing, Limited-time Events, The Hero Recall.

2. Jade Disks can be used to redeem Legendary Outfits, Accessories, Backgrounds. Lunar Pavilion will be updated from time to time.

3. Cosmetics 50% Discount Voucher will be added in the Lunar Pavilion on May 1st, which can be redeemed by 75 Jade Disks.

II. Inventory Disposal Function Adjustments

1. Added "Mass Dispose" function: A new "Mass Dispose" option has been added to the inventory interface, allowing you to select and dispose of multiple items at once.

2. Added disposable items: Collection Trial Cards, Hero Trial Vouchers, and XP Bonus Cards can now be disposed of,



III. Friends & Party Invite Limitations

To protect players from harassment, we've implemented a periodic limit on the number of times you can add friends and invite other players to join your party.



IV. New Feature

In Customization page, players can select the emote bubbles equipped on the wheel to perform random bubble editing.



V. The Hero Returns Event Adjustments

Adjusted the rewards for recalled friends. Jade Disks have been added to the original rewards, which can be redeemed for rewards in the Lunar Pavilion.



Showdown Adjustments
I. Combat Adjustments

1. Adjusted [Hammer Evil-Ent]'s close-range Purple Focus Strike starting move to common attack.

2. Optimized the sound effect when surrounded by Lotuses.

3. Optimized the color or thunderbolts from Thunderspawn and Rotspawn.



II. Catch-Up Points Feature Updates

If you spend 600 or more fatigue in a given week, you will receive extra rewards in accordance with your Catch-Up Points after that week's settlement. This reward will be available to claim for 1 week, so please claim them promptly!

1. Xbox Series X now adds new FSR3 graphics enhancement technology

AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) uses a combination of super resolution temporal upscaling technology and frame generation to deliver a massive increase in framerates.

I. New Weapon - Flying Knives

Deadly accurate and never missing a shot!

In the new version, we are introducing a brand new weapon: Flying Knives. Come and try it out for yourself!

Weapon Skills:

Hidden Barb: The first Vertical Strike can interrupt an enemy's Common Attack from 2m away and stagger them for an extended period.

Free Targeting: All the Flying Knives' moves can be freely unleashed with adjustable direction.

Sunder The Stars: The attack range and distance are determined by charging. The 1st-stage charged attack unleashes the [Sunder The Stars], while the 2nd unleashes [Rend The Moon].

Rapid Throw: Rapidly throw multiple flying knives to overwhelm your enemies.

Pierce The Sun: A dash attack that follows up on charged strikes, allowing you to close the gap and attack distant foes.



II. Fairyland Penglai Brand-new Gameplay

1. Ferris Wheel

Players can hop on the Ferris wheel from the bridge on the north side of the Seraphic Quartet on Fairyland Penglai. Inside, you can enjoy a slow ride and take in the beautiful views. It’s a great chance to ride with friends and make some fun memories together!

2. Rocking Chair

New rocking chairs have been added to the Seraphic Quartet. Players can sit in it to trigger unique actions and music!

IV. Limited-time Event: Scorching Rebirth

The flames brightened the vast sky, while the hidden embers in the abyss conceal the mysterious light.

Event Rules:

1. Players can select one of two Cultivation Bonuses each day:

Ignis Rise: If you gain Score from a Ranked match, you will get a 25% score bonus; if you lose Score from a Ranked match, your Score loss will be halved. Eurekas will diminish by 1. No Eureka is used when the score is 0.

Blazing Abyss: Gain 150% XP and Treasure XP from the next match of the Survival mode, Casual mode or Showdown (Yama's Abyss excluded), diminishing Eurekas by 1.

Players can choose only one Cultivation Bonus per day, and the choice cannot be changed.

2. Choosing a Cultivation Bonus each day grants an additional Eureka.

3. Completing each event quest grants an Eureka. There are 7 quest sets, unlocking sequentially over time, one after another upon completion of the prior set.

4. Eurekas expire daily, so please use them the same day they're received.

5. The event grants extra rewards based on the total number of quests completed.

3. The ranged weapon [Swarm] gains a special effect during the Water Festival: shooting water bombs! Swarms can be obtained from Stashes or Morus' Blessing, and can be cast into the Wishing Well.

Hero Adjustments
I. Viper Ning

1. Adjusted the effect of [Yushan Strike] to: Blast enemies in front of you and mark them with [Silence].

2. Optimized the movement speed and the performance of the auto-aim for the the skills [Yushan Strike] and [Yushan Strike: Wound] when used in mid-air.

3. Ultimate [Moonbane Control] now can be used when hit, and the consumption of Rage has been adjusted: 60% is consumed immediately upon release, and 40% is consumed during the subsequent skill duration.

4. Ultimate [Moonbane Control: Unchained]'s explosive strike now will silence the enemy for 4 seconds.

5. Enemies' health bars will be displayed while marked by Viper Ning's Ultimates [Moonbane Control] and [Moonbane Control: Unchained].

6. Deleted [Yushan Strike: Silence].

7. Deleted [Moonbane Control: Silence].



II. Lannie

The following adjustments have been made to Ultimate [Tricky Bounce: Leap]:

1. Hold to charge and enhance the power of the Trick Ball when you have it in hand; swinging after dashing to catch the ball will enhance its power.

2. Optimized the hit box when the Trick Ball collides with the environment.

3. Adjusted the hit effect of the Trick Ball when it hits an enemy.

4. Optimized the feel of Dash Catch moves and Lannie's final throw.



III. Wuchen

1. Increased the projectile speed and hitbox of the flying swords for the skill [Spirit Blades: Swap]. When Wuchen lands after teleporting, he will now emit a blast that knocks back nearby enemies.

2. After Wuchen releases [Yin Yang Orb], the distance between the character and his teammates is displayed in real-time.



IV. Tessa

1. When releasing the Ultimate [Enchant], the amount of Tessa's Health restored upon hitting an enemy has been increased from 100 to 140.

2. Upon releasing [Enchant: Group Prey], Tessa restores 100 Health for each enemy hit.



V. Kurumi

Adjusted [Healing Ray]'s Cooldown time from 15 sec to 18 sec.



Weapon Adjustments
I. Unified Adjustments for Melee Weapons

Optimized the buffering of dodge interruption for Scale Rush.



II. Unified Adjustments for Ranged Weapons

Reduced dodge distance when holding a ranged weapon.



III. Katana

Slightly reduced the stagger time caused when 1st stage charged Horizontal Strikes or Vertical Strikes hit an enemy, and slightly sped up the timing of combos.



IV. Dual Blades

1. Slightly delayed the timing of combos after 1st stage charged Vertical Strikes.

2. Slightly reduced the stagger time caused by charged Horizontal Strikes.



V. Staff

1. Increased how high enemies are knocked airborne by Uppercut Slash.

2. Slightly reduced the stagger time caused after hitting an enemy on the ground with a charged Horizontal Strike.

3. Delayed the point at which weapon switching can happen after a charged Horizontal Strike.



VI. Nunchucks

1. Increased how high enemies are knocked airborne by Uppercut Slash.

2. Reduced damage multiplier for 1st stage charged Horizontal Strikes from 2.56 to 1.98.



VII. Longsword

Delayed the point at which 2nd, 3rd stage Horizontal Strikes, and 3rd stage Vertical Strikes can be interrupted with Grappling Hooks.

//Dev Note: Balancing risk and reward during gaming is something we've been working on for a long time. Some combos have been weakened in the new version, making the gain of a combo more reasonable.


Souljade Adjustments
I. Longsword Souljade

[Engraving] The point at which the warning effect for the move appears has been moved forward.


In-game Adjustments
I. Feature Optimizations

Adjustments to the way Dark Tide Coins are given out for in-game Quest Scrolls.

The total number of Dark Tide Coins will now be calculated based on the number of members in a team and the Dark Tide Coins supposed to be given to each person in a quest, after which the Dark Tide Coins will be divided equally in real-time based on the number of members in the team who were not eliminated.

*Please note that players who quit the game (marked with an Unplugged icon) will not have their Dark Tide Coins counted towards the total. Players who have not died but still quit the game will not get the Dark Tide Coins for the eliminated players.

2. Optimization for the playing of hints on loading screens

Hints will now be played on a loop on loading screens.



II. Bloodsport Adjustments

Optimized the logic of switching targets when spectating a battle. Now targets will be switched in the order in the Match Schedule.



Out-game Adjustments
I. Compatibility Marking

When this setting is on, weapons on the ground that match the Souljades in your Bag will be marked.



Showdown Adjustments
I. Combat Adjustments

1. Optimized the resident sound effect of [Lotus].

2. Rephrased the descriptions of [Elemental Damage] of some Souljades.

3. Significantly reduced the frequency of [Fiery Monster]'s Binding Formation.

4. Optimized the sound effects of Mountain Ghost and Stone Monster when they are spawned.

Brand New Content
I. Limited-Time Event: Poetic Springtime
Event Duration: Mar. 13, 2025 Update - Mar. 31, 2025 20:00 (UTC)
Event Rules:
1. Complete Daily and Weekly Quests during the event to receive Soulbloom School Badges.
2. Spend Soulbloom School Badges on the event page to unlock campus locations, obtain their rewards, and a picture. There are a total of 5 locations to unlock.
3. You'll no longer be able to take on new quests once the event finishes, but you can still spend Soulbloom School Badges to unlock campus locations.


Combat Adjustments
1. Reduced dodge distance when not holding a weapon.
2. Optimized the pre-input for a successful counter, preventing the accidental triggering of a second counter.

Souljade Adjustments
I. Longsword Souljade
Changed [Leaping Slash] to [Engraving], introducing a new motion.

Out-of-game Adjustments
I. Debut Pose Optimization
1. Debut Poses can now be triggered manually. Press F7 (or select the option in the radial menu if using a controller) in Fairyland Penglai or during the preparation stage to activate them.

II. Friend Adjustments
Added friend verification messages. You can now include a custom message when sending a friend request.

III. Home Display Gesture
Adjusted the Home display gesture for Katana and Heng Sword.


Showdown Adjustments
I. Combat Adjustments
1. Optimized the Freeze effect when Frostbite reaches the cap, extending its alarm time. This effect can now be resisted by Defuse.
When your ThunderShock maxes out, you will no longer take damage from Divine Thunder.
2. The moves of [Matron of Yushan] and [Omnius·Aureate] and the [Manticore]'s poison balls, lightning balls, and spinning lightning strikes now deal significantly decreased elemental accumulation damage to players.
3. Optimized the motion of Ziping Yin's Aegis-break Martial Skill [Celestial Passage].
4. Fixed the issue where some of [Vinemire]'s moves had a slight chance of missing their hit and improved hit reactions for certain moves.
5. Optimized the Health of [Omnius·Bough]'s light orbs, making them easier to destroy.
6. Reduced the combo damage of the consecutive hits by [Omnius·Bough]'s light orbs.
7. Slightly increased the damage multiplier of [Blossom Blast] when the Souljade [Poison Root] is equipped.
8. The base damage multiplier when countering Divine Thunder while [Thunder Counter] is equipped has been changed from 0.47 to 0.5.
II. Feature Optimizations
1. The corresponding Combat BGM will now play when you approach a boss in Enigma Domain, Nirriti's Ruins, and Yama's Abyss.
2. Added "Auto-Recast" to Souljade Recast - Recast Attribute. Auto-Recast automatically consumes materials to recast the selected attributes until a target is reached or all materials are depleted.
Added "Recast 5 Times" to the Recast interface. You can now consume materials for 5 Recasts to Recast a chosen attribute 5 times in a row.
3. Added "Skip" option in Souljade Conversion to skip animation.


Feature Adjustments
1. When purchasing Extreme Hairstyles, players will now be able to purchase the required Cloud Mirrors or Floral Dew all at once.
2. After this update, Customization and Hairstyle interfaces will support zooming in and out.

Bug Fixes
I. Battle-related Bug
Fixed the issue where Counter Form can be quickly interrupted by using Healing Berries or Armor Powder.
II. Cosmetic-related Bugs
Upgradable cosmetics' Iridescent Paints will not be calculated as a part of a player's total Legendary or Extreme cosmetics. For now, the calculation rules for [2674·Prototype] will not be affected by this.
