Can you believe it’s been that long since we first set out on this adventure? Moss has always been about connection, and we're beyond grateful for the love and support that has kept the bond with Quill strong.

There have been a couple of patches following our latest big update to Moss. Here are the details:

• Last week's update was a full rebuild in Unreal 4.27. This was the reason for the large download size.
  
• In the time since the last Steam release, the game's project was renamed from "MossGame" to "Moss". The patch on Oct 19 included an engine change to force it to continue using the name "MossGame" when looking for save data. Save files which appeared to be deleted were not removed and are now visible again by the game. For those who may have started a new game before the Oct 19 name fix, that save data is located in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Moss\Saved\SaveGames and can be transferred to %LOCALAPPDATA%\MossGame\Saved\SaveGames. It is recommended to make a backup of the destination folder before replacing any files.
  
• Old configuration values, in particular those related to input, were getting stuck in cached engine configs. The most recent patch contains a small update to input configs and the default launch option now includes the "-regenerateinis" command line to force the engine to update these cached configs.
