    The following Events, Sales, and Promotions are running:
    NEXT: Arcana Update
    • The NEXT: Arcana Update is here. See the dedicated microsite and the update post https://mabinogi.nexon.net/news/78002/next-new-beast-update for more information!
      • New Arcana Talents, Elemental Knight and Harmonic Saint have been added.
        • You must be over cumulative level 10,000 in order to start prerequisite quests.
      • New Skills are added for both Arcana Talents.
      • New titles have been added for the new Arcana Talents.
      • The existing Grandmaster Guide quests have been removed and replaced.
      • New UIs have been added for Managing Arcana and Arcana Links.
      • Information related to Arcana has been added to the Basic Info tab of the Character Info menu.
      • The Arcana tab has been added to the Talent menu.
      • An active Arcana Talent tab is added to the Skill menu.
      • New NPCs Laoire, Cowenna, and Eochaid have been added.
      • A new area, the Arcana Association Room, has been added.
      • And more! 
    The following bug fixes have been made to the game:
    • Fixed an issue where certain Moon-Gates and Mana-Tunnels when used on the World Map would lead to incorrect destinations.
    • Fixed an issue where during the Memoir Quest "Nele's Music Basics", some objectives were displayed incorrectly.
    • Fixed an issue where  Beach Vacation Pedicure was invisible on Giant characters wearing Morrighan's Regalia (F).
    The following are known bugs:
    • There is an issue where you cannot Friend Summon using Fynn Pets. It will show the error, "Unavailable because the owner has opened a Personal Shop".
    • During the Kraken Rex boss fight, Kraken Rex will use an attack that will cause players to lose protection, semi-permanently, until they change channels or relog.
    • There is an issue where the Today Visitor Count does not reset to 0. When a visiting character visits the Homestead, the Today and Total Count accumulates normally.
    • The available upgrades in the Item Upgrade may overlap in the UI if the window is increased.
    • Homestead Anvils and Furnaces have settings to allow visitors to use them, but do not actually restrict the use of the items.
    • There is a slight graphical error where part of the hose is missing when a William or Butler Partner uses the Water Hose gesture.
    • Some Partner gestures that have them holding a weapon will appear as though the weapon is disconnected and floating.
    • There are Partner gestures that do not activate when a Partner has something equipped in their left hand.
    • There is an issue after using the Thunder skill, the character can't charge Thunder again until after the Thunder bolt hits/damages enemies.
    • If you try to change your style to an appearance already saved in a Beauty Slot, it will say it failed.
    • There is a minor visual issue with the Beauty Slot text if you scroll up and down after expanding the Beauty Slot.
    • The outline color when clicking on an empty Beauty Slot is incorrect.
    • There is text cut-off in the Buy Item UI when buying the Royal Society Appreciation Box from Melwyn.
    • The inventory image for the Mace of Mercy is incorrect.
    • Feeding a Pet Instructor Stick to a Level 100 Spirit weapon will cause the character to freeze.
    • If you had a unicode heart on your wedding ring, the heart appears as a question mark.
    • The Shaggy Perm hairstyle can be saved in a Beauty Slot.
    • Cobweb Mummy enemies do not appear in the Alby Advanced Dungeon.
    • Guilds are not appearing in the Guild List.
    • When you first open the Master Plan Inventory, it will incorrectly show as locked. Closing and reopening the inventory will fix the issue.
    • There is a minor graphical issue with the Special Shining Stage Concert Costume (M) when the character equipped with the outfit is running.
    • Scathach's hands do not match her skin color.
    • The Tail Chasers mini-game in Festia is currently inaccessible.
    • Guild stones can be placed very close to each other.
    • Some players have encountered an issue when using Fynn Sync for Corgi pets.
      • A further uncommon issue can occur where placing items into the pet's inventory will disappear.
    • Minimizing the game client for an extended period of time while at an active Field Raid may cause the window to stop responding.
    • A rare issue has been reported where raids do not spawn correctly on certain channels.
    • A textural error in Port Ceann has been reported.
    • Nascent Divinity causes players with Almond skintones to become teal.
    • There is an issue where one-time/limited item cannot be purchased from the ingame shop, but can be on the web-shop.
    • The Intricate Braid Hair (F) does not animate properly in some cases.
    • After completing G24, the first quest of G25 does not arrive, and cannot be started in Storyline UI.
    • There is a text error with the rank up requirements for the skill "Hydra Transmutation".
    • The talents that are used for Arcana Talents have text cut off on the Rebirth screen.
    • In the Storyline menu, Chapter 6 and Chapter 7 will inaccurately allow players to start a replay, though this will only consume resources.
    • Certain Moon Gates and Mana Tunnels are leading to wrong locations when teleporting with the Traveler's Guide.

    Snowflower Tree Festival Event Returns!

    The mysterious Snowflower Tree has reappeared in Vales! Send your wishes to the Snowflower Tree and earn some rewards such as the Snow Cloud Bed or the various Homestead items! Help make this festival a lively one by completing daily quests every day. Check out the details below!
    Event Details
    Event Dates: Thursday, December 15th, After Maintenance - Thursday, January 12th, 2023, Before Maintenance
    • During the event, you will receive the quest, [Guide] Wishing Snowflower Tree Festival.
    • You will also receive Orange Wings of a Goddess (Snowflower Festival) that will teleport you.
    • Register a main character with Lily at the festival location.
    • You can only register one character per account.
    • Once registered, you will receive the daily quest [Event] Make a Wish.
    • Stay logged in for 36 minutes each day to receive a Wishing Snow Crystal.
    • You can help Nelche and Garon to receive more Wishing Snow Crystals!
    • When you use the Wishing Stone Crystal 2 times, and talk to Lily, you will receive the following rewards:
      • 20,000 EXP
      • 3 Snowflower Tree Festival Gift Box
    • Each time you put a wish into the Wishing Snow Crystal, you will receive 1 Snowflower Tree Festival Giftbox.
    • If enough players put wishes into the Wishing Snow Crystal and send it off to the Snowflower Tree, the tree will shine for 2 hours.
    • If you talk to Lily while the tree is shining, you will receive 1 Special Snowflower Tree Festival Box and 1 Snowflower Tree Festival Coin Box.
    • Wishing Snow Crystals will disappear every day at 7:00 AM PST so be sure to use them all beforehand.
    Daily Quest Details
    • You have a choice of either helping Nelche or Garon for the daily quest.
    • To receive the daily quest, talk to Lily and click on Receive Daily Quest.
    Helping Neche collect Mysterious Pages
    • If you decide to help Nelche, you will receive the daily quest [Event] Gather Mysterious Pages.
    • Mysterious Pages have a chance to drop from all monsters in Erinn.
    • The higher ranked monsters have a higher drop rate.
    • When you gather 10 Mysterious Pages and talk to Nelche, you will receive the following rewards:
      • 20,000 EXP
      • 1 Wishing Snow Crystal
      • 1 Snowflower Tree Festival Gift Box
    • Mysterious Pages disappear daily at 7:00 AM PST
    Helping Garon collect Lively Melodies
    • If you decide to help Garon, you will receive the daily quest [[/b]Event] Gather Lively Melodies.[/*]
    • You can get a Lively Melody each time you play a song that lasts at least 1 minute and consists of 300 or more notes.
    • You must use the Playing Instrument skill in order to obtain Lively Melodies.
    • The quality of your performance does not affect whether or not you get Lively Melodies.
    • When you gather 10 Lively Melodies and talk to Garon, you will receive the following rewards:
      • 20,000 EXP
      • 1 Wishing Snow Crystal

    Arcana
    • New Arcana Talents, Elemental Knight and Harmonic Saint have been added. 
    • New Skills are added for both Arcana Talents.
    • Arcana Talents combine the elements of two Grandmaster talents.
    • Additional details for Arcana can be viewed on the dedicated microsite.
    How to Learn Arcana
    • Characters over cumulative level 10,000 will receive the quest, [Guide] The Grandmaster’s Path.
      • The existing Grandmaster Guide quests have been removed.
      • You can receive the Arcana Guide Quest, [Guide] One Step Higher after progressing in the quest.
    • After completing [Guide] One Step Higher, you will receive the quest, [Guide] Lighting the Arcana’s Flame.
    • You must complete the Arcana guide quests [Guide] One Step Higher and [Guide] Lighting the Arcana’s Flame to learn Arcana talents.
    • After completing the [Guide] Lighting the Arcana’s Flame quest, the permanent NPC Laoire will be added to the Arcana Association Room in Tara Rath Royal Castle.
    • You can accept the Arcana Talent acquisition quest by talking to NPC Laoire about Promising Arcana Candidates.
    • In order to acquire Elemental Knight, the character must meet the following requirements:
      • Cumulative level of 20,000 or higher 
      • Acquire the Grandmaster Spellsword Talent Title
        • Requires the Grandmaster Mage and Grandmaster Warrior talent levels
      • Complete the quest, [Elemental Knight] A Dress Too Hot to Handle
        • You can start this quest after achieving Grandmaster Spellsword and talking to NPC Laoire about Promising Arcana Candidates - Elemental Knight.
        • When completing the quest, NPC Cowenna will reside in the Arcana Association Room and the Elemental Knight Arcana talents, related skills, and journal achievement will be acquired.
    • In order to acquire Harmonic Saint, the character must meet the following requirements:
      • Cumulative level of 20,000 or higher 
      • Acquire the Grandmaster Choirmaster Talent Title
        • Requires the Grandmaster Bard and Grandmaster Cleric Talent levels
      • Complete the quest, [Harmonic Saint] An Unremembered Dream
        • You can start this quest after achieving Grandmaster Choirmaster and talking to NPC Laoireabout Promising Arcana Candidates - Harmonic Saint.
        • When completing the quest, NPC Eochaid will reside in the Arcana Association Room and the Harmonic Saint Arcana talents, related skills, and journal achievement will be acquired.
    Manage Arcana
    • A new area, the Arcana Association Room is added.
      • You can enter through the Great Hall on the 2nd floor of the Tara Rath Royal Castle.
      • To enter the area, you must complete the [Guide] One Step Higher quest.
      • After completing the [Guide] Lighting the Arcana’s Flame quest, you can go directly to it by pressing the Go to Arcana Association Room button in the Talent menu under the Arcana tab.
    • You can check the Manage Arcana menu at the Arcana Enkindling Lectern located in the area.
      • Several options related to Arcana Level and Arcana Link are available to enhance the Arcana talents.
    • Information related to Arcana has been added to the Basic Info tab of the Character Info menu.
      • You can check the Arcana level, experience, and link level of the currently active Arcana Talent.
    • The Arcana tab has been added to the Talent menu.
      • In the Arcana tab, you can check the details of all Arcana talents.
      • You can check the Arcana bonus effect applied to the character and the upper limit increase in stats.
    • An active Arcana Talent tab is added to the Skill menu.
      • You can check Arcana's exclusive skills in the corresponding tab.
      • Through the skill management button, you can acquire and rank up Arcana specific skills.


    Arcana Talent Enhancement
    • At the Arcana Enkindling Lectern, you can select and activate one of the acquired Arcana Talents.
      • 100 AP can be consumed to switch the active Arcana talent.
      • Acquired Arcana level bonuses are maintained even if you switch to another Arcana talent.
    • Whenever the character level increases, the currently active Arcana talent experience increases.
    • When the Arcana Talent's EXP reaches its maximum level, the Arcana Talent's level increases.
    • Each Arcana Talent level can be increased up to 50.
    • Depending on the Arcana level, you can get bonus stats or learn additional skills for the talent.
      • Training Arcana skills requires the character to reach specific Arcana Levels or rank other Arcana skills to a certain rank.
      • AP is required when ranking up the skills.
    • The Total Arcana Level is the cumulative level of all Arcana Talents, and the upper limit of the character's stats increases according to the Total Arcana Level.


    Arcana Link
    • You can unlock Arcana Link stages when reaching a certain level of an Arcana talent.
    • Arcana Links can be unlocked up to 5 stages, and more bonus effects can be obtained as the stage increases.
    • The Arcana Link Bonus applies only to the currently active Arcana Talent.
    • In order to unlock Arcana Links, the Link Unlock Requirements must be met, requiring a certain Arcana Talent Level, AP, and Scorching Crests.
      • Arcana Talent-Specific Scorching Crest items are required for each stage.
      • Scorching Crests can be obtained by converting the Smoldering Thread item and 10,000 Gold via the Crest Forging menu when Managing Arcana.
      • Smoldering Thread can be obtained from certain dungeons.
    • When reaching certain Arcana Link stages, Arcana Link Quests will be available for both Elemental Knight and Harmonic Saint Arcana Talents.
    • You can proceed with the Link Quest when each Arcana Talent Link stage 1, 3, and 5 is achieved.
    • You can unlock the next link stage without completing the link quest.
    • Stage 1 and 3 link quests are accepted automatically upon reaching the link level.
    • If you do not complete the previous stage link quest, you will not be able to progress or accept the next stage quest.
    • If you do not receive the quest automatically or in the case of the 5th stage link quest, you can accept the quest by talking to the NPC Laoire about Promising Arcana Candidates.
      • Stage 5 link quests can be accepted after learning both Elemental Knight and Harmonic Saint Arcana talents.
    Elemental Knight
    • Elemental Knight skills can only be used while equipping a melee weapon.
    Instill Flame
    • An active skill that grants the power of the fire elemental to an equipped melee weapon for a certain period of time.
    • You cannot use different elemental instillment skills at the same time.
    • While the Instill Flame skill is active, you gain the following effects.
      • Increases minimum/maximum damage.
      • Splash damage range is added during normal attack.
      • Increases skill damage of Blazing Assault Slash.
      • Depending on the skill rank, you can cast Bolt, Intermediate, and Advanced magic skills at the same time while using the skills of your Close Combat Talent.
      • Allows Bolt magics to be cast while using Close Combat Talent skills with [Control + Right Mouse Click]
      • Increases casting speed and magic damage by a certain percentage of maximum damage when using fire magic.
      • Increases the Fire Elemental attribute value by one, the same effect as applying Fire Elemental to equipment.
      • Mana is slowly consumed continuously, and the skill is automatically canceled when MP is depleted.
    Instill Frost
    • An active skill that grants the power of the ice elemental to an equipped melee weapon for a certain period of time.
    • You cannot use different elemental instillment skills at the same time.
    • While the Instill Frost skill is active, you gain the following effects.
      • Increases minimum/maximum damage.
      • Reduces the target's movement and attack speed when using normal attacks.
      • Increases skill damage of Shattering Windmill.
      • Depending on the skill rank, you can cast Bolt, Intermediate, and Advanced magic skills at the same time while using the skills of your Close Combat Talent.
      • Allows Bolt magics to be cast while using Close Combat Talent skills with [Control + Right Mouse Click]
      • Increases casting speed and magic damage by a certain percentage of maximum damage when using ice magic.
      • Mana is slowly consumed continuously, and the skill is automatically canceled when MP is depleted.
      • Increases the Ice Elemental attribute value by one, the same effect as applying Ice Elemental to equipment.
      • Movement speed and attack speed reduction effects are refreshed based on the last applied effect.
    Instill Thunder
    • An active skill that grants the power of the lightning elemental to an equipped melee weapon for a certain period of time.
    • You cannot use different elemental instillment skills at the same time.
    • While the Instill Thunder skill is active, you gain the following effects.
      • Increases minimum/maximum damage.
      • When using a normal attack, the target’s Defense and Protection are partially ignored and the stun time is increased. In higher ranks, it also negates target’s Heavy Stander effect.
      • Increases skill damage of Dynavolt Smash.
      • Depending on the skill rank, you can cast Bolt, Intermediate, and Advanced magic skills at the same time while using the skills of your Close Combat Talent.
      • Allows Bolt magics to be cast while using Close Combat Talent skills with [Control + Right Mouse Click].
      • Increases casting speed and magic damage by a certain percentage of maximum damage when using lightning magic.
      • Increases the Lightning Elemental attribute value by one, the same effect as applying Lightning Elemental to equipment.

    Blazing Assault Slash
    • It is an active skill that jumps towards the enemy and damages surrounding enemies.
    • Able to select a landing location during the jump animation after using the skill.

    • Depending on the damage and Attack Range of the Assault Slash skill, the damage and Attack Range of the Blazing Assault Slash skill increases.
    Shattering Windmill
    • An active skill that attacks enemies around the caster.
    • Damages and freezes enemies on hit.
      • The movement speed and attack speed are reduced for enemies that are immune to being frozen.
    • Deals additional damage when the freezing effect ends.
    • Damage increases while Instill Frost skill is active.
    • Depending on the damage and Attack Range of the Windmill skill, the damage and Attack Range of the Shattering Windmill skill increases.
    Dynavolt Smash
    • An active skill that attacks enemies in a straight line.
    • Damage increases while Instill Thunder skill is active.
    • Depending on the damage of the Smash skill, the damage of the Dynavolt Smash skill increases.
    Dauntless Defense
    • An active skill that blocks enemy attacks and counter attacks while in defense.
    • While you hold down the skill button, you will continue to defend against enemy attacks, and in this state, if you release the button or after a certain period of time, you will attack the surroundings.
    • Each enemy's attack blocked while in this defensive state will increase the counter attack damage inflicted to the target up to three times.
    • The higher the defense proficiency of the Defense skill, the higher the defense proficiency of the Dauntless Defense skill.
    • Reduces incoming damage based on the size of the shield.
      • Small shield = 20% damage reduction
      • Medium shield = 40% damage reduction
      • Large shield = 60% damage reduction
    Harmonic Saint
    • Harmonic Saint skills can only be used while equipping a staff or wand.
    Hand of Restoration
    • A single target skill that recovers Health and Wounds.
    • Additional HP recovery based on Healing skill’s recovery value.
    • The maximum HP recovery amount does not exceed the maximum injury recovery amount.
    Echoes of Salvation
    • A skill that restores the Health of party members within an area of effect.
    • Increased MP and Stamina Recovery Speed for affected party members for a short time.
    • Increased HP recovery based on Party Healing skill rank.
    • Additional MP and Stamina Recovery Speed based on Enduring Melody’s skill rank.
    Voice of Vitality
    • A skill that continuously recovers the Health of all nearby party members for a certain period of time.
    • HP recovery occurs at regular intervals for affected party members and their elemental resistance is increased.
    • Increased elemental resistance of Voice of Vitality based on the skill ranks of Fire Shield, Ice Shield, and Lightning Shield.
    Pulse of Purification
    • A skill that continuously inflicts damage to surrounding enemies within a certain range centered on the caster. (Can be channeled for up to 15 seconds)
    • While holding down the skill button, enemies will receive damage at regular intervals, but Health and Mana will be consumed continuously.
    • When channeling ends, additional damage is dealt in proportion to the channeling duration.
    • Skill casting will stop if the HP/MP required to maintain the skill is insufficient or if you are hit by an enemy.
    Pall of Ruination
    • An active skill that grants a stat reduction effect to all enemies around the caster.
    • Reduced stats are as follows:
      • Defense, Magic Defense, Protection, and Magic Protection
      • Movement Speed, Attack Speed, and Casting Speed
    • Increased Defense, Magic Defense, Protection, and Magic Protection reduction of Pall of Ruination based on the Dance of Death skill rank.
    • Increased speed reduction effect of Pall of Ruination based on the Fantastic Chorus skill rank.
    • The Time Shift technique cannot be used for the Pall of Ruination skill.
    Blessing of Protection
    • A skill that amplifies the survivability of nearby party members by creating a shield for a short period of time.
    • The shield negates most attacks for a short period of time. (It is not effective for certain gimmicks and instant kills.)
    • Party members affected by Blessing of Protection gain the following stats for a certain period of time:
      • Defense, Protection, Magic Defense, and Magic Protection
    • Increased Defense and Protection effects of Blessing of Protection based on the Enduring Melody skill rank.
    Hymn of Resurrection
    • A skill that revives an incapacitated party member.
    • A party member revived with Hymn of Resurrection recovers some of their Health and Wounds.
    • After reviving, incoming damage is reduced for a short time.
    • Increased recovery of Hymn of Resurrection based on the First Aid skill rank.

    • You can obtain the Arcana Collection Book from NPC Laoire.
    • Laoire, Cowenna, and Eochaid have been added to the list of NPCs that can be invited through the Campfire Invitation.

    Event Details
    • During the event, you will receive the guide quest, [Guide] Do You Know About the Snow Cloud?
    • Talk to Charles in Dunbarton, next to the Healer's House and register a main character.
    • You will receive the following rewards after completing [Guide] Do You Know About the Snow Cloud?:
      • 20,000 EXP
      • Mysterious Snowball x1
    • Every 15 minutes, real-time, the Mysterious Snow Cloud will form a Mysterious Snowball.
      • Only 8 Mysterious Snowballs will form each day from the Mysterious Snow Cloud.
      • The Event Clock will not be visible once 8 Mysterious Snowballs have formed.
      • The Event Clock timer will continue counting down when you change channels.
      • If you log off during the countdown, the timer will reset to 15 minutes when log back in.
    • You can obtain a Mysterious Snowball every day when you log in for the first time.
    • Use the Mysterious Snowball to help promote Charles' Snow Cloud and you will receive one Charles' Reward Box for each one you use. 
    • The event resets daily at 7 AM PST.
      • Mysterious Snowballs will melt at 7 AM the next day if they are not used.

    • Make the promotional materials 3 times with the Mysterious Snowball, and then talk to Charles.
