Dear Laser League: World Arena players,

It is with regrettable that we must announce the impending shutdown of our game servers. Effective since [July 6, 2023] , as a free to play game, Laser League: World Arena will no longer be available for log in and play.

We know that many of you have invested countless hours into this game, and we want to express our sincere appreciation for your support and dedication. We are proud of what we accomplished with this game, and we are grateful for the memories we've shared with you all.

Unfortunately, the decision to shut down the servers was not an easy one to make. As a team, we have explored every possible avenue to keep the game running, but ultimately, we have determined that we can no longer sustain the costs associated with maintaining the servers.

We understand that this news will come as a disappointment to many of you, and we apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may cause. We hope that you will continue to support our team and our future endeavors, and we look forward to bringing you new and exciting experiences in the future.

Thank you for your understanding and your passion for Laser League.

Today the Laser League discord is proud to announce the first ever Laser League: World Arena league called "Laser League World"! The goal of this league is to provide long term competitive Laser League, similar to real life sports leagues, divided up in multiple seasons.

Creators of Laser League with CE_Asia and 505 Games are proud to present the Laser League modding contest. Whether you’re planning to enter with a map or a mod, you will have the opportunity to win prizes.

This year, we will be looking to find the best mod and the best map as well. Choose your category wisely. Please have a look at our rules as well before starting to work on the project. The voting for the winners will end on 20th of June and the winners will be announced at 21th of June 2022.

1.Which way to sign up with
Post on Discord/Twitter post link or post on Reddit, leave your ID info so we can take you in.

2.How to sign up
Player can leave their Steam ID/E-mail address or Discord account, and Manger(ID: Free) would gather those info as MODer’s identification.
Then Manger would add those player to Laser League Discord Channel or Steam group.

3.Contest Start-Over date
Contest will present on June 7th (Beijing Time)
Submission Deadline:June 20th(Beijing TIme)
Contest will finish in June 21th(Beijing Time).

4.Contest Rules
-Contestants: Teams or individuals

-Allowed: Modding map. Upload has to be one .zip archive (directly runnable in the game) or actually mod in workshop

-Origin: Self-created map mods will be accepted

-Entry: A person or team may only upload once

-Mod name: The mod must be named LLMC_MODNAME.zip or named LLMC_MODNAME in workshop

-Prize Categories: Online voting for the best mod and the best map, would be voted by players in Discord channel or Steam group, not MODer but every player in channel or group can vote.

-Award receiving: When voting is over, an email must be sent to shang.ma@ceasia.cn including Steam ID, Steam personal page, name of mod and email address for your info to be valid.

Dear players

The welcome pack for original players is about to expire at UTC 2022-03/09 02:00. After that, you'll no longer be able to get the welcome pack which includes the Upgrade Pack (which makes you unlock all classes, all-laser maps in local mode, private match creation, and 1v1 online battle), a limited kit, a limited smash weapon kit, and 1000 Platinum Coins.

*Players who get the original game package by redeeming keys after LLWA is released will not get the upgrade pack, but still can get the limited kit, smash weapon, and 1000 Platinum Coins.
*When first-time login the game, the upgrade pack distribution might be delayed, please reboot the game and check whether the corresponding content is obtained.

*Fix the issue that the 1V1 option in the quick match setting is not saved after the reboot
*Fix the issue that a few laser nodes in map "GONG" no activate normally
*Fix the issue that some of the achievements not unlocking
*Fix the issue that some of the XP reward's text is missing
