It is a sad day. With a heavy heart, we announce today that on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 11 AM CEST the servers of Ironsight will shut down, permanently. Be assured this was not an easy decision for us, but this was the outcome of the discussions between gamigo and Wiple Games.

We have enjoyed your passion and dedication to Ironsight over these past few years, and you have been an exceptional community. Thank you for the fond memories and hours of exciting gameplay.

 

From August 15, 2020, Ironsight will be published globally by Wiple Games on Steam.

The regional restriction of the Steam website will be lifted on August 5.

We will provide the localization of Ironsight to Wiple Games so that they can provide the game in the languages previously supported by us.

Additionally, should you have questions for Wiple Games, we encourage you to join their Discord Server.

 

As you might have already seen from previous news, registration for new users on Ironsight has already closed, and accounts that were created after July 10, 2020, are no longer able to connect to the game.

After the brutal solar storm, we've lost most details about the mission that the HQ has assigned to us. Now we have all details back and start the operation. It's hunting season! CM Pax crossed the line and stole all the booze for our summer party on the cruise ship! He can't evade us for long as he's been spotted by our scouts.

• You can only qualify once for this mission. Your first kill against Pax counts.

Mighty ancient gods influence the battlefield. At first, it was said that it was just a rumor, but it was confirmed several times that we have to appease these gods of war.

We give you 12 paths that you can contest to reconcile yourself with the war gods.

Each of them will reward you abundantly if you complete a path.

Do you stay true to a path or do you become greedy? Will you contest them all and face the war gods? This is up to every mercenary.

Event period:

The event runs all day from June 5th to June 21st (UTC).


Task:

• Complete a path to receive the reward.

• You can also complete all paths if you have the courage.

Path 1 - Mars' Sacrifice: Kill 1000 enemies in Team Deathmatch.

Path 2 - Mars' Revenge: Get the first kill in the game in Team Deathmatch 5 times.

Path 3 - Teutate's Curse: Kill 300 enemies in Search and Destroy.

Path 4 - Teutate's Observations: Complete 100 turns by placing the bomb (Disarmed or Detonated) in Search and Destroy.

Path 5 - Hono's Request: Kill 500 enemies in Secure Point.

Path 6 - Hono's Victorial March: Win 10 games in Secure Point.

Path 7 - Amadioha's Forgiveness: Kill 750 enemies in Resource Takeover.

Path 8 - Amadioha's Envy: Use an EMP weapon 100 times in Resource Takeover. (EMP Grenade, EMP MSGL, EMP Launcher)

Path 9 - Ares' Wrath: Kill 500 enemies in Front-Line.

Path 10 - Ares' Triumph: Win 5 games in Front-Line.

Path 11 - Ninurta's Plagues: Kill 1000 enemies in Capture The Flag.

The battlefields are calling after you. PMCs are fighting heavy battles out there and now it is the time to show them what you are made of!

We want to test the effectiveness of tactical throwing weapons against other groups of PMCs and need your help. The more kills, the better.

We also have infused boosters to the systems to gather 30% more experience and to give you 30% more GP out of every single mission that you complete on the battlefield.


The HQ will count the numbers of kills that you do with tactical throwing weapons.

Only games played via normal matchmaking will be counted towards your score - no Custom Matches, PvE, Missions or anything else!

There is no in-game counter for this event, the number of kills will be pulled from our database.
The use of the tactical throwing weapons needs to result in a kill to be counted towards your score.


This event starts on Thursday, March 26th, at 8am CET/ 12am PDT. It ends on Wednesday, April 1st, at 8am CET/ 12am PDT. Only kills gotten during this time will be counted.
