It’s time to announce the winners for Haven’s fanart contest! This community week, the theme was meet cute, and boy did you deliver.



Kicking off with our coup de coeur, by Mango! Sharing an umbrella is such a classic meet cute, we’re eating it up.

In the demo, you play as Aava, attempting your first ascent before heading to mount Kami. After a warm-up in the climbing gym, you climb to the summit of mount Tenzen. You have full freedom to explore the small mountain ridge, learn how to climb, forage, and survive in a low-pressure environment. It packs many of the features of the full game.

It is finally time for us to let you in on what we've been cooking: our next game Cairn, a mountain ascent adventure with an intuitive climbing simulation.

We have created a new climbing simulation that gives you complete freedom to explore the mountain, read the rock face and decide on your route. Climbing is challenging, with difficult sections to navigate, and you will need to use your equipment and pitons wisely. Cairn’s story mode will take you on Aava’s journey, as she sets to conquer a summit no one has reached before, and you will decide what she’s ready to sacrifice to achieve the ascent.

Thank you for spending this Haven community week with us! We had a lot of fun with our Haven Geoguessr, and a beautiful new Nest wallpaper to share with you. And it's time to announce the winners of our fan art contest and our Haven Geoguessr!

This community week's fan art contest theme was Date night on Source, and boy did you deliver! We received 28 beautiful artworks, and it was incredibly hard to pick winners. Up until yesterday, we had an 8-way tie for the coup de coeur and a 3-way tie for first place. Thank you so much to all of you incredible artists who submitted work!

Geoguessr winner

The official Source tour guide and winner of our Haven Geoguessr is Mykeelay! They not only got all of the answers right, but they also did so in record time.

Out of all the participants, 16 of you got all five screenshots right! That is better than our in studio performance, and we're impressed. It came down to how quick the answers were, and our top 3 were almost tied, with only 60 minutes between their answers.
