The 1.3 update is here! And it’s a big one: New season, two new playable beasts, game cinematic intro, final boss, ranking reset, over 30 new items to get and more! Let’s dive into some details, shall we?

New Stuff:
  • Added equivalent of the game cost, as Fireflies, given as reward for first 10 level ups.
  • Added free DLC containing full FurryFury Soundtrack.
  • New (2nd) season: Beast Feast! Much bigger than the first one, with more rewards for both free and golden pass. All in the spirit of the beasts’ greatest passion: eating. Also, now fulfilling the season and daily quests progresses the season pass more than before. But beware, this time there is a deadline.

  • The Leaderboard has been reset. And progressing through leagues rebalanced: now you need more fame to progress, but you also gain more for winning, while losing remains similar. Who’s gonna get to the Legends league first this time? Share the screenshot on steam hub when you do.
  • Added a cinematic intro. It’s on the adventure map, after the tutorial (and also on youtube).
  • 7th (final) chapter of the adventure: a boss fight and the final page of the story comic. Tip: it's cold out there.

  • 2 new playable characters: one of which can only be obtained by finishing the whole adventure. And the second one, well... see for yourself.

  • Local/couch co-op: name it however you want, or just grab two controllers and play together instead. Works in adventure, duels and even 2v2.
  • New calendar event with even more handsome rewards than before. Win a game every day for 20 days out of 30.
  • More unlockable stuff (including 2 legendaries): 10 new skins, 7 showoffs, 3 ghosts, 3 victory backgrounds, 9 texts, 6 avatars,
  • New main menu background. Hope you’ll like it.
  • 6 new achievements, and handsome rewards for completing them.
  • 2 jungle arenas join the versus rooster.

Changes/Upgrades/Balance:
  • Improved AI: it’s less suicidal and more aware of area abilities.
  • Adventure difficulty changed (decreased) to achieve an overall smoother experience: Easier at the beginning and at the end, well… the end it’s still difficult ;) . There are also more turns to get stars, and an achievement for collecting them so… try to catch them all!
  • Added FX for completed spoils (quests, rank ups, level ups and achievements) and changed spoils background.
  • Improved translations of all languages,
  • Improved range visibility and precision of the artifacts skill.
  • Added ‘avatar’ to avatar names to not confuse them with skins.
  • Added a ‘check details’ button to some news popups, which leads directly to related sub-menu.
Bugfixes:
  • Found and eliminated some seemingly random freezes (probably some of the last of their kind).
  • Sometimes Victory Chest doesn’t appear in Shop after unlocking Victory Customization until the game is restarted - Fixed.
  • Sometimes game soft locks when opening the chest with the last unlockable item - Fixed.
  • Wrong text when unlocking golden pass in some languages - Fixed,
  • Sometimes spoils display wrong achievement progress - Fixed.

It's been a while we get it, but you know... making games ain't easy.

The BIG update 1.3 will roll out exactly one month from now: on 20.03.2023, and it will mark the beginning of the 2nd season. All unclaimed season rewards will be gone then so hurry up!

The great season requires epic conclusion so... the long awaited 2nd Community Tournament is coming! Enroll now (till 5th March) via This Form.

We have an important announcement to make: the next update (v1.3) is complete. And it’s gonna be awesome (personal opinion). Two new playable beasts, new (much bigger) season, final chapter of the adventure and finally: couch co-op… to name a few. Also, this update will mark the release of the Nintendo Switch version, fully cross platform like all of our other ports.

This is not the only announcement. FurryFury is switching from free2play model to premium. It will be paid on all existing platforms as well as on the Switch. We believe that the game can reach new audiences this way, gain proper recognition and help us develop it further. Also, by being a paid game, we will be able to participate in platforms’ promotions and discounts to gain visibility, which was impossible with f2p.

We are aware that this change may seem controversial. So to make it fair, if you’ve already added FurryFury to your library, you will keep it forever (and all the upcoming updates as well). And for those, who haven’t downloaded it yet: Hurry Up! You can still grab it for free until February 17th 2023 08:00 AM EST.
That’s not all. With the upcoming update 1.3, the equivalent of the game cost in Fireflies (80+) will be given as rewards for the first 10 level ups (even for those who got the game for free).
Please, spread the word, so others don’t miss out.

HoHoHo good beasts and men!
The 1.2 update is here! And in it: new multipart event, new winter skins, new neutral beast, match UI redesign, lots of QoL improvements and more. Without further ado…
New Stuff:
  • Our first steam DLC: Beast Pack. It unlocks all the current beasts, and also adds a unique golden frame to your avatar. Gold not only stands out nicely in leaderboards, but also indicates that you have supported the game. Check out the details on dlc steam page.

  • New, multipart event: Snowmen Hunt. This time event is divided into four parts, the more snowmen you will smash, the more handsome rewards you will get. With final reward being the first and only legendary victory background (spoiler: it’s fullscreen and awesome).

  • Redesigned in-match ui. It now emphasizes your beast, so you don’t need to select it to check its stats and skills. We also changed the timer menu to expandable, so the timer takes less space on the screen. The character card is also changed; it now takes the same amount of space, no matter how many skills a beast have. And lastly, all the beasts are color coded for easier team differentiation.


  • New daily quests: for playing as Rikiki and Garrr, and also a few variations of existing quests with bigger requirements but also bigger rewards.
  • New neutral creature: Fro - the spiky one. There he comes, to make your combos even more harmful.
  • New winter-themed thingies to get: 3 beast skins, 1 show-off and 5 avatars.
Changes/Upgrades/Balance:
  • AI improvements: it thinks faster and performs less self-harming moves.
  • We removed bots completely from 2v2 matchmaking.
  • Redesigned gamepad navigation: you can now navigate around all the menus with the stick, instead of being forced to use separate buttons as shortcuts. We also improved selection visibility which is especially helpful during the match.
  • Changed the rewards of daily quests, instead of all giving the same rewards, now some of them give only Grubs, and some only Fireflies (but more of each).
  • Simplified and shortened the tutorial.
  • Match spoils now display the progression of the achievement which is the closest to complete (instead of a random progressed achievement).
  • Stats on beasts (during match) are turned on by default.
  • Removed the limit of messages sent per turn.
  • Removed bonus damage cap from Cruelick “Must Bounce” skill.
  • ‘Play Again’ on adventure now skips the intro dialogue.
Bugfixes:
  • Found and fixed a few more in-match freeze causes (thanks to your reports).
  • Sometimes game hangs (and needs to be restarted) after network disconnection - Fixed (it goes back to menu now).
  • Winstreak sometimes resets when the opponent leaves match very early - Fixed.
  • Sometimes adventures don't progress the campaign when finished after restarting them - Fixed.
  • “Match ended prematurely” sometimes doesn’t show for all players in a 2v2 match - Fixed.
  • The nests of two different Rikikis can overlap - FIxed (it spawns in the closest free location).
  • Sometimes the ‘back’ button in Avatars sub-menu doesn’t work - Fixed.
  • Spoils sometimes doesn’t display a new league badge when advancing to a new league - Fixed.
  • Sometimes beast cards in the menu show wrong rarity - Fixed.
  • Sometimes, in settings, a selection on slider doesn’t appear - Fixed.
  • The "buy" button on Chest of “Unpredictable Contents” sometimes remain, even though you have all possible rewards - Fixed.

The 1.15 update is here! And in it: new spooky event, new skins, long awaited Zolf nerf, lots of QoL improvements and even more bug fixes. Without further ado…

New Stuff:
  • New spooky calendar event: with more rewards than ever. Try and grab them all.
  • New thingies to unlock: 3 beast skins, 3 avatars, 2 move effects

Changes/Upgrades/Balance:
  • Lowered adventures difficulty:
    - all Weaklings have 1 less Health (but +1 Aim),
    - Grim Finale in adventures 1-3 begins 1 turn later,
    - Dark Boss (3rd adventure) 3rd skill cost increased from 4 to 5,
    - Shmashrul (in adventures 4-6) now has +1 Attack and +2 Speed, but he no longer heals,
    - Darklops (6th adventure) Juicy maggots skill now only prevents damage from maggots (instead of healing) and make the maggots ignore Darklops presence,
    - Lazors (in adventures 7-9) defense decreased from 2 to 1, but their laser damage increased from 3 to 4,
    - Tikimors (in adventures 13-14) spikes now deal damage to anyone (instead of non-friendly).
  • Zolf’s Chitinous shell is now his 3rd skill (instead of 2nd).
  • Rikiki’s nest now appear exactly on the gathered potion spot, it doesn’t prevent the potion spawn anymore, and it’s range has been corrected (it was bigger than appeared),
  • QoL: Calendar events from now on will begin counting days when you first launch the game after the patch came out, and not from the day when the patch comes out. This way everyone will have the chance to complete the calendar event.
  • Reduced load time when using the Play Again button,
  • Skin category is now locked for the beasts which you don’t own,
  • QoL: info clouds no longer closes when the Beasts start moving,
  • QoL: Gameplad: mapped speed change to Up and Down arrows, precision aim to Left and Right arrows, and upgraded the controls display during the match.
  • QoL: removed confirmation popup on refusing a friend invitation,
  • QoL: After launching the tutorial from the map and finishing it, you now go back to the map view instead of the main menu.
  • QoL: After playing the adventure you have already finished, the map view centers on that adventure, instead of the right-most node.
  • RMB (back) on the map screen now opens the PLAY menu, instead of the main menu.


Bugfixes:
  • Some rare, elusive game crashes/freezes during the match - Fixed, thanks to your bug reports.
  • Sometimes disconnecting from the co-op match stuck the game - Fixed,
  • When disconnected during matchmaking, sometimes it is not canceled - Fixed,
  • The Protective Circle in the jungle doesn’t protect from Rikiki Nest and exploding Fuzz-balls - Fixed,
  • Mummean’s 2nd ability sucks life from the dead beasts at the end of turn in which they died - Fixed,
  • Sometimes you don’t lose fame when quitting a Versus match during 1st or 2nd turn - Fixed,
  • Sometimes the seasonal challenges don't appear on the Spoils screen.
  • Sometimes the info cloud on the Spoils screen doesn’t scale correctly to contain all the text in - Fixed,
  • Sometimes a broken post match screen was displayed after the player disconnection - Fixed,
  • Sometimes, when playing across platforms in co-op adventure, after winning one player see Defeat screen - Fixed,
  • When using a gamepad, sometimes the life value of the selected beast doesn’t update immediately - Fixed,
  • Sometimes adventure notifications shows up on co-op mode button - Fixed,
  • Removing a friend sometimes wasn’t removing you from that person's friend list - Fixed,

  • Malfunctioning text fields and comments in Feedback section - Fixed.
  • Space mixed with Esc in match - Fixed.
  • Sometimes beasts go through Zolf’s totems - Fixed.
  • Some owned avatars displayed as not owned - Fixed.
  • Sliders in settings not displaying proper values sometimes - Fixed.
  • Wrong controls displayed in Options for XBox gamepad - Fixed.
  • Skin from the current event is available to purchase - Fixed.
  • Chosen beast speaking on almost every button click in menu - Fixed.
  • Missing description of Garrr’s seed and flower - Fixed.

Howdy good beasts and men!
It’s been a while, but the 1.1 update is here! And in it: new playable Beast, new Adventure chapter, a Daily Wins event, new skins, victory backgrounds and much more. Let’s dive into the details!

New Stuff:
  • New adventure chapter: The Caves. Four arenas filled with darkness, a new breed of annoying enemies, new challenges and a pink (?) boss. The story is almost at its peak; expect the final chapter in update 1.2.

  • New playable beast: Garrr! He has some serious anger management issues, getting bonus Attack each time he gets hurt. Apart from that, he loves all plants, especially flowers. Guess which ones are his favourite.

  • Two new events; a regular one, and a ‘Calendar of daily victories’. Claim rewards every day, try to win systematically to get the final reward, but don’t linger, there is only a month to do it.

  • We added support for gamepads: just plug and play, switch anytime you want.
  • 20 new cards: 3 victory backgrounds, 5 beast skins, 8 move effects (including a Legendary) and more.
  • Two arenas added to the Versus pool: Invisible Bridge and Carrot Field at night.


Changes/Upgrades/Balance:
  • You can preview the beasts you don’t have (requested by the community).
  • ‘Play Again’ skips the intro dialogues now.
  • Shortened the loading time after finishing the match.
  • Changed the way of acquiring beasts. Many of you complained about the RNG of getting beasts, so we decided to make both beasts and their skins buyable. Just choose the one you want and buy it, the price is the same as the chest. To make it a bit more challenging and balanced, the new and epic ones are more expensive. Hope you’ll enjoy it.
  • Fireflies packs boost: we removed the smallest pack, and increased the number of Fireflies in all the others. Prices untouched.
  • Adventure made easier: On the bridge arenas, GrimFinale comes later and The Egg has more Health, boss in adventure 3 bonus damage skill replaced by a weaker one, more time to get stars in adventures 1-12.
  • Removed Brew as a possible neutral beast on Hex arena and added extra rock in 1v1 (to speed things up a bit).
  • Bubak’s Health increased from 12 to 13.
  • Zolf’s Health reduced from 14 to 13, Aim increased from 9 to 10.
  • Maximum win streak bonus reduced from infinite to 10.
  • Changed ‘Friends’ and platform icons so they look more intuitive.
  • Increased the level cap from 70 to 100.
  • improved currency gaining effects.

Bugfixes:
  • Friends connecting and joining/inviting issues - Fixed (thanks to your reports, we managed to find and fix several causes).
  • Rarely, owned items can disappear for some players - Fixed.
  • Rare in-match freezes - Fixed.
  • Some achievements don't change the image when unlocked - Fixed.
  • Sometimes Zolf can move through other Zolf totems - Fixed.
  • Sometimes, some cards are doubled in the My Beast menu - Fixed.
  • In rare cases, move prediction shows where you’ll stop, but you go a bit further - Fixed.
  • Unable to get the Broken Zolf skin from the forgotten package - Fixed.
  • When changing language during tutorial, the current text bubble is not translated - Fixed.
  • Sometimes info clouds aren’t scaling to contain the text, sometimes close to early - Fixed.
  • Skill description popup sometimes covers up the skill icons - Fixed.
  • Some sound effects in the menu ignore the Master Volume setting - Fixed.
  • Clicking currency icons in the Missions sub-menu does not open the Shop - Fixed.
  • Sometimes win streak shows wrong bonus fame amount - Fixed.
  • On desert arenas, Bubak’s ray goes under the arena edges - Fixed.
  • Move effects names are sometimes in capital letters, and sometimes not - Fixed.
  • ‘Refresh Quest’ button has too big hitbox - Fixed.

Thanks to your activity and literally hundreds of reports, we managed to pin down and squash some nasty bugs. Let me show you which ones!

  • Because recently there are a lot of players in-game (around 200 matches being played at once all the time, yay!), we increased the searching time after which bots are filling empty seats, from 30 to 50 seconds.

    • We also fixed the occasionally disappearing items issue, and most of the lost items should go back to your accounts automatically, however some of them will not. I apologize for that.
