I'd like to make use of the cross posting feature to share some exciting news - we've just released a new game called The Forest Quartet!

The Forest Quartet is a puzzle adventure about a gone, but not forgotten, lead singer. It's composed of 3 acts, each representing the bands emotional response to the passing of Nina. Kirk the pianist has been overrun by a crippling fungus, JB the bassist has plunged into darkness, and Sebastian has been engulfed in flames.

The original soundtrack, composed by Mads' father, is played by several members of the Danish Radio Big Band - a Copenhagen based jazz ensemble. Nina, Mads' sister voices Nina, the protagonist, in her songs.

The Forest Quartet is now available for you, the players... to play! Mads Vadsholt, the creator of the game, has spent the past 6 years working on this sentimental story of life, death, and jazz.

Making use of the cross post feature here on Steam to share a little story with you all

As you may know, we've been hard at work on Figment 2 for the past 4 (almost 5) years. On top of that, a little more than a year ago, we took our first baby step into publishing games that we don't develop internally.



This all happened when we met Mads, another Danish developer. For the past 7 years, he's been working on a personal and family-made project called The Forest Quartet. It's an intricate story-driven experience about a jazz quartet who just lost their lead singer. You play as the spirit of the singer, Nina, and must dive into the minds of the other band members to reignite their musical spark.

Each band member deals with grief differently, whether it be depression, anxiety, or anger. Each musician's mind is a representation of their emotional state. You can expect a wonderful use of sound design and a stunning visual art style to carry you through this title.

The Forest Quartet is a family-made project. The original jazz score is composed by Mads' father (Kaspar Vadsholt), Nina is voiced by his sister (Nina Vadsholt, artist name: NV-4), the soundtrack is performed by select musicians from The Danish Radio Big Band based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Hey hey everyone! A lot of little tweaks have been added to Figment over the years, so if it's been sitting in your wishlist for a while here's a little overview :)

Some of these fixes have come by us working on the sequel, Figment 2 (which will feature new combat systems, enemies and songs).

Our surreal and musical adventure into the human mind has been a passion project for the team. You play as Dusty, the mind's courage and must help the psyche heal from its nightmares.

You'll travel through 4 unique areas, all with a fine-tuned soundtrack and musical boss fights. Prepare your mind as well as your sword-fighting skills to find what caused the mind to plunge into chaos and restore the peace that once was.



You can expect:
Improved player movement, improved sword fighting, and rebalanced enemies in Clockwork Town.

Well, we've been quite busy with Figment 2 these past weeks since the prologue's release back in January. But, good news! We've got some updates that come straight from the oven. Sit back, relax and get ready to play.

Let's jump right into it:


You may have tried the previous iteration of The Jester's Challenge, and we've seen some of you get pretty far! The main obstacle being some of the puzzles. So we're giving y'all 5 extra minutes to rack your brain and see what lies beyond!



They now fly lower and are easier to hit! We've taken the decision to make them more of a "cannon-fodder" type enemy. That doesn't mean that they're easy to take care of! Try your best to not get overwhelmed by them.



Opinion were a bit hard to differentiate so we're giving them a little do-over!

This is the beginning of the multiple combat updates to come! During Dusty's dodge, you'll be able to shift to the left or right, making the combat experience smoother. Try it out and let us know what you think.

• Fixed an issue where spider webs' deactivation kept on repeating when completing a spider encounter
  
• Fixed an issue where a spider web's collider would not get turned off properly in Geometry Square
  
• Fixed an issue where the rotating bridge leading to the Enigma Box puzzle in Geometry Square was not in the correct position when entering the level after having beaten Clockwork Town
  
• Fixed an issue where the Train of Thought would sometime get stuck
  
• Fixed an issue where the "danger" music overlay couldn’t be heard playing in Anchorage
  
• Fixed a visual glitch occuring at the 4-way stone bridge puzzle in Anchorage
  
• Fixed several issues surrounding the air filters in The Summit
  
• Darkness walls during a story moment in The Summit is now able to deal damage
