Fallout 76’s magazines work in the same way that Bobbleheads do, but only in this game. Instead of being permanent upgrade, Magazines are now consumable temporary buffs that provide traits such as weapon specific boost or damage increased against certain enemies. Since they work slightly differently this time, there are more places that you can find them, this guide will have more on their locations, exactly how to obtain them, and when it is best to collect duplicates. Fallout 76’s Bobbleheads don’t work the same as they once did, which has irked some people. They’re now temporary buffs as opposed to permanent upgrades, though they still increase your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats, or affect weapons used. Since they’re more plentiful, there’s a huge number of places where you can find them just lying around, so this guide will have more on their locations, exactly how to obtain them, and when it is best to collect duplicates. Appalachia is still a lovely place to pitch up a tent, but after the bombs fell in Fallout 76, it’s not at its best. Still, you have to make do and rebuild where possible. Your handy tool for all your building needs is the “C.A.M.P.” or the “Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform” (henceforth abbreviated to CAMP). This allows you to make your base of operations, as long as it’s on a flat surface and not anywhere near established buildings, and gives you the best place to make items, repair items, and even store all that junk you’ve picked up all around Appalachia. Some locations however are much better than others, so this guide will show you how to move your CAMP in a time of crisis, go over all the workshop locations, and the essential buildings you should make. Ever since people ventured into Appalachia, it soon became apparent that Magazines work a fair bit differently in Fallout 76. Fallout 76 has been out for a while now and even though there are now players who have explored the entirety of Appalachia, there’s no better time to emerge from Vault 76 and make your mark in the world. This is not the typical Fallout game though, as this one is online, with a ton of other changes on top of that; from how Perks work to setting up your own CAMP. This guide hub will go over some of these major changes, as well as explains things like hunger and thirst, Bobbleheads, multiplayer, and more. (more…)

One of the more drastic changes in Fallout 76 is in it’s revamp of how Perks work. Instead of choosing one permanent skill at every level, you get cards that can be equipped at any time, upgraded to increase their effectiveness, and even shared with your buddies at any point provided you have the Charisma. There are a ton of these in the game, some requiring an increase in rank to get more out of them. This guide will have more on exactly how to obtain them and what you need to do to upgrade them, along with the full list of all the Perk Cards and their subsequent effects by rank. (more…)

Appalachia is still a lovely place to pitch up a tent and take in some breathtaking views, but in Fallout 76, it’s not at its best. After all, it did just have nuclear bombs explode in its vicinity, much like the rest of America. Still, you have to make do, and your handy tool for all your building needs is the “C.A.M.P.” or the “Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform” (henceforth abbreviated to CAMP). This allows you to make your base of operations, as long as it’s on a flat surface and not anywhere near established buildings. Some locations however are much better than others, so this guide will show you how to move your CAMP in a time of crisis, as well as the essential buildings you should make to get started. (more…)

Appalachia is full of stories and legends, mostly ones involving monsters that lurk in the trees: The Grafton monster, Mothman, and the Snallygaster. Fallout 76 includes these alongside the standard fare of Super Mutants and Deathclaws to make for a rather terrifying roster of monsters. Don’t even get me started on why the Scorchbeast may be the most difficult enemy to take down. In this guide, we’ll go over the many enemies, as well as the variants you should be worried about.
