The first contact with a large pack of underdwellers known as "Whom" appearing on the outskirts of the Grand Canyon has been confirmed. Just like the same time in the previous year, we expect them to be closely followed by the sasquatch-rated mutant "Grunch." The ever-diligent patrols work around the clock to reduce their numbers, but the truth is, we have a holiday crisis on our hands. Agent Cindy Loom has arrived with an unyielding holiday spirit more information on the potential sightings of the Grunch.

An unvErified anonymous source claimed that these Growths somehow contain... eggs... that need to be harvested at the earliest convenience. ConsiderinG their demand for "more egg" throughout the conversation and an occasional squeak of what we assume was an eggsaggerated eggcitement, we'd like to remain skeptic.

As you may or may not have already picked up on, the new season is emerging in Wasteland. This Easter, there are strange sightings of formations containing abnormal, egg-like structures of an unknown origin. Thanks to our residential code doctor, Knits, these structures have been secured and are safer to handle if encountered.

Our coordinator Emily remains adamant that you should be on the lookout for an unknown individual that seems to be highly interested in the content of these mysterious formations. She also took a liking to a garment collection we've never heard of that just happened to find its way to her headquarters. She says customizable pants are all the rage this season. Could this be related to the recent events? Proceed at your own (curiosity) risk...

Well, Ritual says there's only one way to find out. Where's your sense of adventure, clones? The odds are 50/50 that in two weeks, we will be marking this peculiar occurrence as yet another wonder in the bleak reality of Wasteland. If you like your chances, don't let us stop you.

Hi all,

Today is a very bittersweet day.

In the coming weeks prior to September 22nd, we will be launching the first all new event in honor of the 10 year anniversary for Fallen Earth. We hope that players will enjoy what we have planned, because this will now be their last chance to play the current game with their friends.

Effective 10/2 (or there about based on when the event goes live), we will be taking the Fallen Earth servers offline.

Unfortunately after weeks of monitoring things and getting players feedback, we have determined the current state of Fallen Earth just isn't sustainable in its current form.

You guys have been very tolerant, but the player experience is terrible right now. It's laggy and buggy. Servers crash quite often, and stacking is still disabled due to exploits. We don't blame the player base for the low concurrency numbers. You need a better game to play.

For clarity, we are still committed to the new version of the game that we have been working on. However we are still very early into development, so there isn't a timeline that can be provided yet.

We want to personally thank everyone for their support over the last 17 months. Fallen Earth is still one of our CEO's favorite projects. We look forward to giving it the proper attention it deserves.

If you can stop the Grunch and bring back some of the xmas gifts he stole Cindy will give you a special holiday reward. Since the Fall, computer glitches and leap years have created controversy over the actual date of the New Year. For decades now, people in all areas of the Grand Canyon Province have used different dates, leading to much confusion. Now, the Archivist Coalition, with the help of LifeNet, has finally determined the actual date of the New Year. In the process of their research, the Coalition has also uncovered a great deal of information about various holidays that had been celebrated in the past. In honor of the establishment of the true date, the Coalition is sponsoring “First Night” a festival that combines many of the holidays past.

There might not be any snow in the Wasteland, but citizens from all over the Grand Canyon Province can join together, build some Dirtmen, and wait for the arrival of S.A.N.T.A (the Seasonal Arctic Network of Toy-based Altruism). They’ve been keeping track of who's naughty and nice. The nice get gifts and the naughty get hunted down. Hope you were nice! There will be plenty more celebrating where that came from, as well as holiday missions and goodies. Enjoy party crackers, fruitcake, and festive top hats from gift boxes, or trade the unopened boxes in for a chance to win the ultra-rare white top hat.

We'll be performing network maintenance that will involve rebooting some equipment. The reboot will be fairly quick and will impact Jericho and Fallen Earth. This will start at 3:00 PM PDT Today.

This past week Fallen Earth has had some issues that affected server stability which ultimately resulted in additional downtime. These issues have been fixed and the team is actively monitoring the servers to make sure no additional problems arise. The Fallen Earth team apologizes for the inconvenience and to make up for the lost time we are sending you one week of Commander Premium and 2 GT Supply Boxes!

To get your Commander Premium just login to the Fallen Earth Marketplace and redeem code PassTheStuffing. You can also pick up your two GT Supply Boxes by going to the redeem code page, you will see the two codes there in your list of available promo codes.

Many that were opted out didn't receive the original email and had trouble redeeming the 2 GT boxes, this has now been corrected.

Also, any purchases from the Marketplace from 11/25/2014 12:25:00 AM - 11/26/2014 11:00:00 AM (during the rollback time) have been refunded and also were given the item they purchased for free. We apologize for the delay in getting this sorted out, however the holiday made things take longer than expected.

If you have a ticket into support about either of the above issues and it is now resolved, please reply to your current ticket and let us know so we can move through the influx of tickets quicker and get to those that are requiring other assistance.

After many long hours, monster drinks, coffee IV's and pizza, we are happy to say that Fallen Earth is now back in service with the new rollback state. Thank you all again for your patience and understanding. Happy Thanksgiving to those that celebrate.

We were near the home stretch and had a portion of the backup fail. We've now restarted that portion and are estimating that the server should be up at approximately 7 pm provided all goes well. Thank you all for your patience during this outage, we will not stop until the server is back in service.

Update: We are on the last steps of the rollback process. While we cannot give an exact time of when the server will be back in service, we have been working all night to ensure that we are open as soon as safely possible
