A fix was just released for Entropy : Zero that resolves an issue for people with virtual reality hardware.

Prior to the this fix, Steam would start Steam VR when trying to open the options within EZ if you had a headset plugged into your machine.

Headset owners rejoice! You may now configure options for Entropy : Zero.

Entropy : Zero - [λG] Breadman
We've just started work on a new patch for Entropy : Zero.

This patch will address some infamous issues such as the close caption crash and various bugged achievements.

I've learnt a lot since the release of EZ1 and through refining the EZ2 gameplay. I'd very much like to go back and iron out some kinks. You can expect to see some refinements to weapon recoil, Zombie damage - as well as some targeted fixes to various maps to smooth out the play-through experience for new and returning players.

But fixin' is not all we're doing.

We're planning on rolling some core changes from EZ2 right back into EZ1. We're looking at doing this for a few reasons.

Primarily we want there to be some kind of continuity between the two mods. There are a lot of bigger differences currently between the EZ1 experience when compared to EZ2. Little things like impact effects and sounds play a huge role in boosting the feel of gameplay, and I'd like to bring them back into EZ1.

Secondly, it lets you get your hands on some of the new stuff earlier. Which is great news for everyone! I'll be going into more detail about what's coming as we get closer to release.

Once the patch has been released, the SDK will also be updated - and there will be a few little extra things in there (we're hoping) for creators to play with.

More news as we progress - we're hoping this isn't going to take us too long to roll out as we're super busy with EZ2!

Entropy : Zero - [λG] Breadman
Over the last few weeks, I've been getting messages asking me if there is going to be a sequel to Entropy : Zero.

For those of you who don't know or haven't heard - the answer is yes! And if you didn't know that, you may have been missing out on an absolute ton of content and information regarding the mod.

For everything Entropy : Zero check out my site here. If you're eager to follow EZ2's progress, follow the blog on my site as that's where I'm posting all news and correspondence.

Myself and the rest of the EZ2 team hold weekly podcasts, in which we show off gameplay and talk in depth about all aspects of the mod. You can see our previeous podcasts here along with some gameplay videos of Entropy : Zero 2.

To add to the awesomness, we will be porting back fixes and quality of life changes to Entropy : Zero (1) in the near future. This update will include new viewmodel animations, among other things.

We've got some seriously cool stuff cooking. There's lots to be excited about in regards to Entropy : Zero and we can't wait to show you more!
Entropy : Zero - [λG] Breadman
It's been a crazy year and the supporting comments and questions regarding the mod haven't stopped coming my way since release.

One year on, I can say with confidence that 44,158 players have experienced the mod.

To celebrate EZ's success, I've started a three part Youtube series, wherein I explain and answer questions received by players. You can watch the first part right here. It's a hefty 20 minutes long - so bring some tea! (or coffee or booze)

There's also some unseen footage from EZ2 coming this week which will no doubt pique interests!

Huge thanks to everyone for your support and constructive feedback.

Oh and also - Happy Birthday Half-Life 2 Episode 2. Eleven years on; I'm still mad.
Entropy : Zero - [λG] Breadman
To celebrate the birthday of Entropy : Zero I will be doing a Q & A!
I'm not sure what format you're going to receive it in yet but you'll know when the times comes.

Read the post here for details on how to submit your questions!

Thanks for the continued support!
