Loot drop rates and quantities modified
Player inventory base max weight has been increased
Small and large backpack additional weight benefits increased
Item weights have been modified
Item recipes have been adjusted
Tool (wood axes and pickaxes) collection amount rates have been balanced
Player fall impact damage/velocity decreased
Player death and respawn mechanics have been changed
-Players will not drop inventory items on death, instead players will be redirected back to the main menu to either start a new game, load a previous save (remember to save often) or rage quit if desired.
Removed duplicate foliage instances

Bug fixes:
Save file will not become massive at 8+ hours of game play anymore (requires start of new game)

Here's a quick update on what I've been working on lately. I'm currently wrapping up the testing phase for the next patch. Players can expect the following modifications:

The pause menu has been completely overhauled. Audio, Video and Gameplay settings will now be accessible. All settings will also save and load properly.

Audio settings are coming in a later update. Coming soon menu page set as a place holder as of now.

I was also able to confirm an issue that several players have reported with longer game saves (8+ hours) not being able to load properly. This update should resolve these issues. My current test save has 30+ hours and is loading as intended. I will continue running tests on this and report back with additional findings.

I will make this update live as soon as the testing phase has been completed successfully.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to thank you guys for your feedback and let you know that they have all been received. I'm currently working on the following improvements/ modifications;

*Additional customization in the settings menu as well as loading them properly from save files
*Resolution
*Gamma
*Brightness
*NPC nameplate/hp indicators
*Day/Night cycle length
*Audio adjustments

*Additional sound effects

*Additional food/thirst resources, recipes and direct sources.

*Adjusting item weights

Once these changes have been implemented/ tested I will make the update live.

I would also like to take this time to clarify a few things. All comments and emails are read daily I will not be replying to every single one of them. Most communication will come from the News/ Announcement board. Unless there is some sort of an emergency where Einn is rendered function-less, I will not be commenting on the discussion boards or applying updates during the weekends. Operating hours will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm MST (USA). Please adjust expectations accordingly.

This update should resolve the saving/loading issues some users have been experiencing.

Hotfix v1.0.0.2 is now live!

!!!!!Warning!!!!!

This update will override previous save game files and force a new game to be started.

Hotfix notes

*Increased the number of spawn points for deer and rabbits
*Resolved issues with Iron tools not working properly

Hello Everyone!

I am pleased to announce that EINN is now available for Early Access!

I would like to take this time to quickly thank everyone for their kind words and interest so far. The amount of support I have received up to this point has been unexpected and greatly appreciated!

What's next?

Depending upon the amount of feedback I receive I hope to have my first pre-patch notes up in a month or so. In that note I will list the improvements/changes I have planned for the next patch as well as some of the top most requested improvements from the community.
