We are saddened to announce that the Duelyst servers will be shutting down permanently on February 27th, 2020 at 3:00 PM PST. Saying goodbye to any game is never easy, and it’s always hardest when you love the game as much as we all love Duelyst. We’re incredibly proud of the effort our developers have put in on Duelyst over the years, and even more proud of the amazing community of friends and gamers that have enjoyed Duelyst.

We want to thank all of you for being a part of the Duelyst family, and for making our time working on Duelyst the amazing adventure it has been.

To celebrate the life of Duelyst, we’ll be making some changes to see the game out on its path to the sunset. Please see the Service Closure details below:

Service Closure Details

The Duelyst servers will officially close on February 27th, 2020 at 3:00 PM PST (Your local time here).

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment accounts will continue to be active and may be used for our other titles.

Players will no longer be able to purchase Diamonds as of the time of this announcement.

We will provide refunds on all Diamond purchases made between December 21st, 2019 and January 24th, 2020 upon request. To request a refund, please visit our support page and submit a ticket. All refund requests must be received by March 30th, 2020 to be honored.

Beginning today, we’re also reducing the cost on all Diamond Orb purchases in Duelyst by 99%. The price of Diamond Orb Bundles are now :

• 3 Orbs = From 450 to 4 Diamonds
  
• 10 Orbs = From 1450 to 14 Diamonds
  
• 25 Orbs = From 3500 to 35 Diamonds
  
• 50 Orbs = From 6000 to 60 Diamonds

1/10 – 1/15: ARCHONIS

A being composed of pure energy, his original visage is no longer recognizable. They once craved the power to defeat the darkness and thus became the light.

1/17– 1/22: PARAGON OF LIGHT

To stand before the Paragon is to face absolute retribution. The closer it comes to defeat, the more terrifying its power becomes. Light shall sear across the land the abolish all darkness before it.

1/24 – 1/29: SCION OF THE VOID

Where there is light there must be shadow, and, in that void, he draws strength. Capable of ripping the very essence from his foes, his spite unleashes a terrible price upon those foolish enough to face him.

1/31 – 2/5: HIGH TEMPLAR KRON

Before his descent into madness, Kron was once the most revered templar within The Crimson Flames. Not content on simply eliminating heretics, Kron had an unusual talent for subjugating his enemies and breaking their wills until they were under his complete control.

Each boss varies in difficulty but in general, players can expect to win against them using basic and common cards, along with skill and luck. Since these are PvE battles, there is no time limit to fight against them. Each win against a boss yields a free Boss Crate and a Core Orb.

Server Instability Issues

As many of you noticed, we had some server stability issues a couple of weekends ago. Our servers had connection problems for much of the weekend. We apologize for that!

Artificer Academy Ending

Additionally, it is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the official closure of our Artificer Academy program. As many of you remember, the program was put on hold in earlier this year in July. The program itself was more lofty than we could sustain and we greatly apologize for that.

As a thank you for previously participating in the Artificer Academy, we’d like to send a special gift to each and everyone of our participants based on their previous participation. We will send these rewards as a code via email on Friday, November 16, 2018.

We also encourage you to keep streaming and being active in Duelyst. If you tweet us with your stream info, we’ll do our best to RT your streams and give shout outs where we can. You can also contact us via PM to arrange some orb codes for community giveaways if you have some good ideas. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
