Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time - kiron.ramdewar
Hello, fellow Whovians! Things have settled down since the New Year and we hope everyone is enjoying the new series as much as we are. We promised that in January we would have a few big changes and they are we are happy to release some of them via today's patch:

Improved Movement/Turning Speed:
Players will now be able to zip around the environment a lot quicker. We originally had a little trouble implementing this, as it was tied into the game's events system, so thanks for being so patient with us.

Remember you can still teleport and take it slow, should you wish to take your time and soak in the ambiance!

Valve Index Support:
We have spent the bulk of our time trying to improve things for Valve Index users. While we feel the build is almost right, there's still definitely a few kinks we are trying to iron out. If you are an Index owner and come across any bugs, please drop out a message on our discussion board, where we have a dedicated thread open which developers will be looking into.

Bug Fixes and Optimisations
The only good bug is a dead one - so we've quashed a good set of them with this update!
Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time - kiron.ramdewar
Hello, fellow time travelers :) Today I received some great news from the team - Both Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality headsets will be supported in a patch coming this January!

As a small team, we weren't able to ship a patch for this as quickly as we would have liked but hope that a new group of players will join us on our adventure in January.

Once again, thanks for your patience We can't wait for more players to be able to play the game in all of its glory in the new year!
Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time - Claddish
Hey Companions, thanks for all the TARDIS piloting, time-travelling and sonic screwdriver-ing you have been doing in-game. You've reported a couple of issues that you've been having in your adventures, so we've made a few quick fixes to help improve your Doctor Who: The Edge of Time experience. The patch notes can be found below

- Fix to controllers occasionally 'sticking' and causing continuous movement or turning when releasing the stick on Oculus
- Fix to a bug where zapping the lift doors with the Sonic caused the doors to be closed and the player to be trapped
- Fix to a bug where buttons in the Dalek Stealth stage could be zapped by the Sonic to open doors, allowing players to cheat
- Massively increased turn speed, based on reports from the public. It is now much better. Speeds have been changed from (Slow: 1.0, Medium: 2.0, Fast: 3.0) to (Slow: 15.0, Medium: 25.0, Fast: 40.0)

With the release of Doctor Who: The Edge of Time almost upon us (it's coming November 12th!), we thought it would be nice to give players a taste of the game by releasing the official soundtrack for free! You can download the soundtrack by clicking here, but be quick as the link will only be live until Friday the 8th of November at 2.15 pm.

Those of you who may be reading this a little late, don't worry! We have also created the soundtrack as DLC on Steam, so when purchasing the game next week, you can listen to the OST in all its glory when it releases next week!

We are really excited for everyone to get their hands on the game next week. If you haven't already, make sure you wishlist our game to keep up to date on more announcements like this one.
