Discouraged Workers, and other all my titles will no longer shows up on Steam. For many years, my country, Korea, Republic of., has made a lot of effort to take care of me, but I didn't know about it, I misunderstood them as my enemies.

Recently I realize that my country, South Korea, was protecting and taking care of me. I was foolish. I have many regrets.

So now, I will close my all titles on Steam, also other distribution platforms. I respect the leaders and peoples of my country. And I know my faults, I made Discouraged Workers realistically. For the future, it is not necessary.

• Update: Version 1.8.4.224 > 1.8.4.244
  
• Reworked: Riding Style animation has been reworked.
  
  1. All three pieces of riding style have been changed.
     
  2. Each animation is fully displayed on each screen.
     
  3. All animations are displayed in a Hole. I hope you know what it means.
     
  4. This has significantly reduced the burden on the device. It should work fine on low-end devices as well.
• Reworked: CCCanon BGM has been reworked.
  
  1. This BGM has been replaced with easily recognizable musical instruments.
     
  2. Because past works were lost in two accidents. Current Discouraged Workers are decompiled and updated from past Steam builds. Also, my environment changed a year ago. So I can't use or record traditional Korean musical instruments anymore.
• Replaced: All BGMs were downsampled to 192kbps.
  
  1. Downsampled all BGMs from 256kbps to 184kbps~236kbps.
     
  2. With this you will have about 30MB of free disk space more.
• Fixed: Identified broken translation since last update.
  
  1. Two TTS voices in Blind-friendly mode.
     
  2. BGM names on the Unlocked screen.
     
  3. Credits title on the Ending Credit screen.

• Improved: Drawer and Secret Chaser achievement is more free from sync error with Steam.
  
  • If sync error occurs, run Configuration > Basic Settings > Steamworks > Sync with Steam, and please let me know using forum if you still have problems with achievements.
    
• Improved: Android APK now support android universial package. This does not guarantee operation on all devices.
  
• Improved: Slightly reduced source code.
  
• Fixed: Crashes when display the caress.
  
• Removed: Unused old OpenGL, OpenGL Accelerate Python modules.
  
• Dropped: I can't support macOS anymore. This means Discouraged Workers can't provide notarized Mac app. Current binary will update little more but it does not guarantee operation on Catalina or future releases.

Currently working for error some languages are displayed in English when load or return to main menu through the game menu after update.

Yunseok is here. Today I updated a new Extras build include supports Raspberry Pi 4 B Raspbian. I wanted to support Gentoo64 too, but there was no Bluetooth keyboard working so I couldn't test it.

  • Fixed: A fairly major issue that could cause screens that interpolate text to not update, or update improperly.
    
  • Fixed: properly runs the image prediction routine from the image prediction thread.
    
  • Improved: The drag and drop system has been improved to better interact with updated screens.
    
  • Notice: There will be more changes because I use nightly build of Ren'Py.
• Added: Raspberry Pi 4 support.
  
• Improved: System console messages are now displayed in your selected language.
  
• Fixed: Crash with Pydict import error.

1. Download Extras DLC.
   
2. In the Steam client, right-click the Discouraged Workers, open Properties, move to LOCAL FILES tab, select the BROWSE LOCAL FILES.
   
3. Open Extras directory, then copy Discouraged-Workers-1.8.4.21-raspi.tar.bz2 to somewhere that you can access on your Pi.
   
4. Configure your Pi with raspi-config. In Advanced options,
   
   1. Memory Split: 256MB
      
   2. GL Driver: GL (Fake kms)
      
   3. Reboot your Pi.
5. Copy the RPi build wherever you want.
   
6. In terminal, type:
   
   tar xf Discouraged-Workers-1.8.4.21-raspi.tar.bz2 cd Discouraged-Workers-1.8.4.21 ./Discouraged-Workers.sh
7. Press Shift+G, select Force OpenGL Renderer, quit and re-run.
   
   ./Discouraged-Workers.sh
