STAND WITH THE JUSTICE LEAGUE AND JUSTICE SOCIETY IN
"STARRO THE CONQUEROR" AND "AGE OF JUSTICE"

DC Universe Online's next major content releases pit players against the Justice League's first foe, Starro, and against the Justice Society's greatest challenge, the Second World War. The new event and episode will launch this April and June.

DC Comics' JLA Vol 1. #23, 1998

NEW EVENT: STARRO THE CONQUEROR

In STARRO THE CONQUEROR, a new large-scale event launching this April, Starro and his minions are assaulting citizens in Central City, controlling iconic heroes and villains across the DC Universe, and preparing for an all-out invasion of Earth.

SJ'S TAKE: "Starro was the first villain the Justice League ever faced as a team, so he's significant both historically and as a major threat to the universe. We’re talking way back in the Silver Age in Brave and the Bold #28! We’ve given him an update, and he will bring his devastating affinity for mind control to bear in DCUO." - SJ Mueller, DC Universe Online Creative Director

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT STARRO THE CONQUEROR:
  • Starro The Conqueror will be a limited-time, large-scale, and recurring event accessible to all players.
  • The event will feature a variety of single and multiplayer adventures, including:
    • Open world missions set in a new area of Central City.
    • 2, 4, and 8-player instances set in a variety of locales across the DC Universe.
    • A special Members-only version of the 8-player raid at end-game difficulty.
  • The event will launch new player rewards, including new gear, styles, base items, and feats.
The STARRO THE CONQUEROR event will be available and accessible to all players this April on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One systems.

DC Comics' America vs. the Justice Society #4, 1985

NEW EPISODE: AGE OF JUSTICE

In AGE OF JUSTICE, DCUO's 28th episode launching this June, timelines are becoming unstable, universes are collapsing, and a new threat is moving to remake the future by undoing victories of the past. Today's heroes and villains will travel back in time to 1940's World War II to confront this threat and assist the Justice Society in their ongoing fight.

SJ'S TAKE: "The fabric of our reality is so fragile that any time travel is a tremendous risk, but protecting this moment in time is a risk worth taking. Gather your team and set your clocks back to 1944, because the JSA and the Blackhawks need you to stop the greatest threat the 20th century has ever seen!" - SJ Mueller, DC Universe Online Creative Director

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT AGE OF JUSTICE:
  • Age of Justice is a large-scale episode, included with Membership or available for purchase.
  • The episode will feature a variety of open world and instanced content at end-game difficulty.
  • Players will meet new era-appropriate heroes and villains and travel to new locations, including a World War II-inspired battlefield.
EPISODE 28: AGE OF JUSTICE will be accessible to Members or available for purchase for all players this June on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One systems.

Love Conquers All!

The Star Sapphires are trying to make amends for what happened during the War of the Light and are making an effort to rekindle the love lost in Gotham City from all that’s happened to it. Unfortunately, Mister Freeze saw what the Zamaron crystals were capable of and has hatched a plan to bring his wife Nora back by integrating their crystals into his cryogenic technology. This misuse of the crystals is extremely dangerous and could cause an exothermic reaction that would destroy the entire city!

Open your Mission Journal and track “A Glowing Love” (Heroes) or “Cold Cold Heart” (Villains). Speak to Hal Jordan in the Gotham East End Police Station Safehouse (Heroes) or Mister Freeze in the Gotham North Burnley Nightclub Safehouse (Villains). While in the Safehouse, visit the terminal next to Hal Jordan or Mister Freeze to pick up a Daily Valentine’s Race mission “Get Your Heart Racing”. This mission can also be picked up at a terminal in Northeast Metropolis near Union Station. The seasonal missions can be completed daily during the event and reset with replay badges.

Don’t forget to visit the Valentine’s Vendor to get seasonal auras, pets, clothing, candies, and base items! The Valentine’s Vendor is located in the East End Safehouse (Heroes)/North Burnley Nightclub (Villains) and inside Mister Freeze’s Laboratory.

New to the Marketplace: 50 Hearts

Hearts allow you to purchase valentine's day seasonal rewards or other advanced items from seasonal in-game vendors, and is available to use only during the event.

Please note: This currency is available on a per character basis, and is not shared or tradeable.

Want to know more about how to get, open, and use a Time Capsule? Visit our guide!

QWARDIAN TIME CAPSULE

Every Qwardian Time Capsule contains some items from the general list, including R&D Exobytes, complex materials, mainframe access bots, Soder Ultimates, and collections. They may also contain an ultra-rare new trinket that summons Qwardian Back-Up/Henchmen!

Each Time Capsule also includes one of four sub-capsules, or boxes, that can contain the following items or collection pieces that result in them:

Qwardian Guard's Gear

Inspired by Qward and the Qwardians that guard it, Qwardian Guard's Gear can be collected in pieces from the Qwardian Time Capsule. When consumed, the pieces will be level-appropriate to your character, so if you want to trade them, make sure you do it before you attune them!

In addition to the regular Qwardian Guard's Gear, you can also upgrade your style to the Enhanced Qwardian Guard's Gear, a similar but more impressive style. This is done by collecting enough of the gear and Antimatter Motes. Wearing Qwardian Guard's Gear will trigger godly favors drops in Amazon Fury Part III.

Qwardian Mods

New Tactical Mods are available in the new capsule. These mods fit into the head slot and restore 3% of your Power when using specific abilities. You can remove these mods using the Tactical Mod Removal Kit for 20 Marks of Victory.

Zodiac Emblems

The capsule offers twelve new emblems representing the Zodiac signs, fitting for an anniversary event. Collect them all and unlock feats! Like the Qwardian Guard's gear, you can also upgrade the emblems to emissive versions using recipes and Antimatter Motes. Do you know your Zodiac sign?

Qwardian Provisions

You’ll need to finish collections from the Qwardian Time Capsules in order to get your hands on these three styles: the Citrine Misted Aura, the Corrupted Aura, and the Void Material.
