In Episode 20, Nekron has come. He has joined his herald, Black Hand, in extinguishing all light – all life – in the universe. The Metropolis Battlefield was ripe with the lingering death from the War of the Light, allowing Nekron to raise an enormous Black Lantern in the middle of the city. The area around the Lantern is scorched earth, scarred by the Corruption brought by the Black. You must fight alongside the Lantern Corps and send Nekron back to the Land of the Unliving in:





And so ends the War of the Light saga, the epic finish to one of DCUO’s most powerful storylines.

In this Operation, a Black Lantern has erupted from the blood-soaked streets of war-torn Metropolis and Nekron has risen from this deathly soil. The embodiment of death is no easy foe to defeat and Hal Jordan, Sinestro, and the rest of the champions have been unable to even make a scratch. But don’t worry, the Star Sapphire, Carol Ferris, has a plan. Will you aid her in stopping Nekron and the Black Lanterns from snuffing out all life in the universe?






If you need a break from the dramatic ending of the War of the Light, the Gotham Wastelands has plenty of mayhem and madness in store for you. Imps and demons run amuck in the fiery wasteland, allowing Jacob and Jack to seductively and slowly (respectively) make their moves. Raven, annoyed as ever by her brothers, has asked for your help in putting them back in their places.


We’re at the final month of this cycle, so it’s time to finish off that set of gear with weapons, rings, necks, trinkets, and a new utility belt. And don’t forget, that weapon is going to drop in a weapon box, giving you the option to choose your weapon...so choose wisely. Members Can Now Play Episode 19!

Members, your early access to Episode 19 begins today!

Green Arrow and Captain Cold have both been taken by Ra’s al Ghul and are stowed away in Nanda Parbat. Heroes will fight alongside Black Canary and villains will join forces with Heat Wave in the final chapter of the League of Assassin’s story, “The Demon’s Plan!” Then, head to the Tunnel of Lust and stop Raven’s brothers from wreaking havoc there, on the Wastelands, and beyond in “Deep Desires.”

The Demon’s Plan is a 4-Player Alert and Deep Desires is a 1-Player Solo. Both require your character to be Level 30 with a minimum CR of 134; the suggested CR is 143.

Season's Greedings 2015!

It’s beginning to look quite a bit chillier around Metropolis and Gotham, with one small hitch… Larfleeze has returned once again, and is stealing presents! Heroes, search for “Winter Plunderland” in your Mission Journal; villains, you’ll want to find “Yuletide Fear.” Get those presents back where they belong!

Once you complete that seasonal task along with “Season’s Greedings,” your assistance will still be needed with the daily mission, “Ring in the Holidays,” where Larfleeze is busy making mischief between the Green Lanterns and the Sinestro Corps. There are two new feats to be earned in this special seasonal content in 2015 – “Who brought the fruitcake?” and “He’s an ANGRY elf.”

Heroes and villains, remember, you must be at least Level 10 to participate.



After you’ve made all things merry and bright, remember to get your holiday shopping done at Skeets’ Workshop! This is where you’ll find the latest winter clothing, holiday goodies, and festive base items. The workshop is accessible from your HQ and inside the Secret Research Facility. Also remember you can pick up some seasonal treats for yourself by running the winter-themed vault! And there are MANY new things you’ll want to get your hands on this year, from a mounted reindeer head to a Gingerbread S.T.A.R. labs base item!

You can also find two new winter auras. The Jolly Aura and Snowflake Aura are both available in the Marketplace, and the Jolly Aura also drops in the seasonal content.

The stars grow dim as the Black Lanterns spread across the universe. Black Hand, herald of Nekron, has finally revealed himself by attacking the Sinestro Corps’ sentient city, Ranx, aiming to turn it into a Corruption-spreading machine capable of wiping out the entire Universe! Sinestro conscribes every last one of you to help prevent Ranx from falling into the enemy’s black hand.

To play this 8-player Operation, your character must be level 30 and have a minimum Combat Rating of 131.

• Open your On Duty Menu and look for the new Operation under Tier 7 of the 8-Player Tab.

Transmute into fortified metal and reorganize your atomic structure to protect you and your allies in your Tank role, or harness the power of the building blocks of all matter to lay waste to your enemies in the Damage role.

Players receive new suit sets and styles inspired by different Lantern Corps and the Manhunters, and new Mist-Enhanced weapons. All War of the Light Part II gear drops are un-attuned.

• Heroes receive the Shepherd of Adara style inspired by Saint Walker of the Blue Lantern Corps.
• Villains receive the Avatar of Ophidian style inspired by Larfleeze of the Orange Lantern.
• All male characters receive the Sector 3601 style inspired by the Manhunters.

Players receive a new 8-player Operation.

o Sinestro and Hal Jordan must get Carol Ferris to join their alliance. However, the Star Sapphires have hidden the location of Zamaron and aren’t welcoming any visitors. Fortunately, Sinestro and Hal have a plan.

New PvE Gear!
Players receive new suit sets and styles inspired by different Lantern Corps and the Manhunters, and new Mist-Enhanced weapons. All War of the Light Part II gear drops are un-attuned.

• Heroes receive the Shepherd of Adara style inspired by Saint Walker of the Blue Lantern Corps.
• Villains receive the Avatar of Ophidian style inspired by Larfleeze of the Orange Lantern.
• All male characters receive the Sector 3601 style inspired by the Manhunters.
• All female characters receive the Heart of the Predator style, inspired by Star Sapphires.


New Base Items!
Collect new base items by participating in War of the Light Part II content, some of which are inspired by Lantern Corps.


New Collections & Feats!
Earn new Collections and Feats awarding a total of six skill points by completing War of the Light Part II content. Collections award new styles and base items inspired by War of the Light Part II content.

Players can now select Zamaron as their Character Select Background.
