Ahoi Crew,
the day has come that we always wanted to avoid.
we will have to stop the production of "Darco" for an undetermined timespan. Unfortunately the financial success was not achieved and we are no longer able to sustain production.
Honestly we are not even able to sustain basic means which is the reason for us to stop.

Our gratitude can barely be pronounced. Espacialy when is comes to bughunting and connecting to lets players. We are proud non the less that we came so far.

Now to the future. This Discord Server will stay up and running. We are going to work more on our youtube and twitch precense. With thay we want to give a peak to the production.
The official Darco Servers wil stay online as long as possible. The friends recruit friends promotion will continue and you will get your reward in january. We commited to do so and we will stick to it.

We would appreciate, if you would stay part of the community and follow our future development. Maybe we will get the opportunity to resurrect "Darco".

- Inventory Drag and drop did not work with filters turned on
- pressing f repeatedly on the dragon lead to a unplayable state
- some user input for the dragon was hard coded, working even if the dragon UI was opened
- small animals sometimes did not flee
- right click item sometimes did not send the item to the right container
- construction system: anchor of stairs was misplaced
- Windows on the tower were missplaced
- objects that were build by a crew member did not stay with that crew when the member was kicked
- beasts and animals were sometimes not able to leave the lurk state
- animals sometimes chose stupid routes to flee
- dragon storage buttons for multi select and take all did not work
- crafting menu sometimes did not show the Q, wenn someone else started the crafting process

- invite players with E Key on that player
- enabled falling damage again
- added a more dangerous enemy to the dungeon
- changed dragon order rotation to roam, follow, stay
- wheater changes slower but more often


- Lamps interaction did not work
- mined rocks were still visible, when joining the server after they were mined, yielding no resources
- beasts lost target when player hid behind slim tree
- crew member could not use crews doors even with permission
- construction elements sometimes would not load correctly


The official servers will go down for maintenance now.

1. By gifting DARCO to a friend until the 31th December you get two special clothing skins for your character.
2. You have to prove it with a screenshot of the e-mail, which you get by steam as soon as the gift is accepted. It is enough if we can see your steam name and the steam name of the one who got the gift.

3. If you gift 5 versions until the 31th October you will get another 3 skins for your dragon.
With the 6th gifted version you'll get another special skin for your dragon.
For example a gold skin.


4. You will receive the skins at the end of the promotion on the 31th December.
5. The skins are usable on every server and can be selected anytime.

- Shows crew in Interaction Text. Now you can see bugs regarding crew better
- Added Password Protection for your Servers, Nitrado will add the settings to this in the web interface soon
- Serverlobby displays correct hint to PVP - PVE Servers (filter is next)
- enhanced resource collisions, you should hit them more easily now

- Dragon Owner Display did not show the correct owner
- players could not join a server with loading issues
- some dragon sounds where missing
- "new character" action kept dragon stats


- Stuck in Spawn Door?, "ce unstuck" or wait 30 seconds
We also worked on the issue with servers that rejected players. This should no longer occur. (for real this time)

Construction Elements get an ID now that helps loading and saving. Initially that may lead to disappearing construction elements. In our tests only 1 or 2 toweres of a huge savegame were lost.

After 2 server restarts the situation should be solved and construction should be stable. We apologize for the discomfort.

From now on DARCO is purchasable for the absolute LOW Price.
Unfortunately, the attention to our project is so low that we are currently threatening to fail.

We can not bear the running costs of development for much longer. We would like to expand our community. We realy NEED to expand our community. Therefore we lowered the price to the absolute low point that makes sense to go on develping.
We really would like to develope the full game. Especially since we already could build such a terrific community.

- Dropping more than one items in a row will add those items to the same loot box (not spawning dozens of loot boxes anymore)
- moon and sun move much smoother now
- fish shows when it dies now
- admin: god mode protects dragon from damage, too
- bigger animation box for outgrown dragon
- show all ammunition of the selected weapon in the hotbar slot of said weapon


- Keybinding did not effect movement of dragon
- health points of construction elements did not show up on interaction text
- dragon switched to roam after dismounting dragon
- experience bar lagged behind inventory
- dragon did not receive the new gained level under very rare conditions
- torch animation should look the same in first and third animation now
- beasts did not respawn correctly
