It's about time we share with you a piece of what we've been working on for the last couple of months. Many of you await it, and we couldn't wait to give it to you as well. And today, we're finally launching open beta tests for the multiplayer mode of CountryBalls Heroes. We would love for you to participate in them and let us know what do you think about the current state of the game.

Multiplayer is now Live on Beta branch!

How does multiplayer work in CountryBalls Heroes?

Just like in good old classic Heroes of Might and Magic! Click on "Multiplayer" in the main menu. Create the game and choose from different scenarios, lobby types, and game difficulty levels. Choose combat speed, game speed, and turn duration. Pick your faction and hero, and invite your friends to join! See for yourselves if Poland can into space, or fight each other till memes tear you apart - the choice is up to you!

To access the new beta branch, please do the following steps:
1. Right-click on the "CountryBalls Heroes" game in your Steam library and pick the "Properties..." from the list.
2. Go to the "BETAS" tab, and fine Open Beta type.
3. Select "openbetabranch" from the list above.
4. Wait until the game update is over. Your beta for CountryBalls Heroes multiplayer is ready to start!

All right, you're ready to go! Gather your friends and see who will be the mightiest of you all!

We'll keep this Open Beta Branch Open for next few weeks (till we'll polish & fix bugs )

1.Free multiplayer mode is coming!
As we've promised, we're currently working on a free multiplayer mode that will make your time with the game even better. Get ready to play CountryBalls Heroes with your friends and see who will be a better hero.
Module will be ready on Public Beta Branch later next month.

2.Steam Awards 2021
Nominations for Steam Awards 2021 are open! We need your votes to get into the competition, so take out your swords and prepare for the voting battle! Let your friends know that CountryBalls Heroes await your votes!

Hello everyone!

We’re alive and we got an answer from the steam!
It took them a bit long, but finally, we got the answer.
Countryballs Heroes can be released on steam and won’t be censored in any form.

However!
Our game can’t be released on a specific Asian country…our jokes are simple to funny. ^
So if you are a fan of our game and are from that region -> use vpn to find us on steam.


Ok so what next?

If everything goes correctly, we'll release countryballs in the next month.
This time however I won’t give you a specific date. We'll let you know whenever there will be a green button on the steam side ,, release now".

During this ,,wait” period we were working on:

- Multiplayer module, which will be on Open Beta branch later next month
- We made 4 more units for free ( Putinball on Bear e.g )
- We also made 2 more maps for free
- Poped 2 weeks extra on bug fixing to be sure that game is stable and as bugless as possible

Why we did that? Cuz we love our community and we’re willing to give you the best Countryballs game ever.

Hello!

Today we have planned to inform you that everything is good and the game is coming to you according to the plan.
Unfortunately, we're coming with bad news. The Steam support informed us that its crew needs more time to review the game. Usually, it takes from 3 up to 5 days. In this case, we received a recommendation from Steam to change the game's launch date because they won't be able to review CountryBalls Heroes in time.
Therefore, we need to postpone CountryBalls Heroes' premiere.

**The game is 100% complete, and it has been ready for you for a couple of weeks**. However, Steam procedures require that we wait at least 21 days before setting the new launch date. Therefore, we've decided to change the date to Q4 of 2021 and give you some more specific information on the premiere's day once Steam's review is complete and we have a green light.

We are aware that many of you awaited this game, and you're probably as heartbroken as we are right now. We have some good news as well, though. There were a lot of discussions about making this delay up to you somehow. Finally, we came up with an idea to use this time to create one more playable map. You'll receive a bit more content in exchange for some more patience.

**What's more, initially, we wanted to give you a launch discount of 15% on the day of the game's premiere. In this case, we've decided to change the discount to 20%. Again, anything to make this prolonged wait up to you! **

**Finally, we will use this time to start working on the multiplayer mode that you've been requesting a lot!**

Stay with us, and remember that without you, we won't be able to protect all those vodka supplies!

Here we are with another patch and 300 bug fixes! All of them are based on the feedback we received from you after the Steam Next Festival. At this point we would like to thank you for all your support. Without you any supplies of vodka (ummm, in-game ones, of course) would not be properly secured.



Based on your feedback we have redesigned our GUI/UI.
Now it works just like in HoMM Hota & HoMM 5.
However - certain specific functionality might not yet be implemented, we'll add them before the release ( most of them ).
City:

• Added new Window: Show All Castle Units
  
• Added new Window: Buy All Units
  
• Added new Button: Delete Unit
  
• Added new Button: Split Unit
  
• Clicking on Unit Portrait (Left Panel) will now Open This Unit Recruit Window
  
• Right-Clicking on Unit Portrait will now show Unit Description.
  
• To activate specific Buttons ( Market, Heroes, BuyAllUnits) your Castle needs to Have a specific building.
  
• In order to activate Buttons: Split/Delete units -> Select certain Unit
  
• Select + Shift& Click will pop Split window

World:

• You can now click on Castle ( World ).
  
• However by separating,, move to castle” Selected Unit will. You have to directly send them to the City entrance.
  
• Hero Panel Have Been Redesigned
  
• Added: Button: Delete Hero
  
• Added Button: Skill Points

City Name -> City names were Kinda pointless. So we rid them off.

Tooltips:

• Right-clicking on Certain Icon will show
  
• Everything which glows -> Got the description.
  

Tip:

• If your Hero Dies, you can recruit a new one in
  
• To do that -> Go to the castle -> Buy Hero Tavern -> Buy Specific Hero.

Resolution Support

• Different resolutions are now supported

New Minimap Functionallity

• You can now click on Minimap to move Main Camera
  
• Borders of Main Camera now shows on minimap

Save/Load system has been implemented (Beta)
Let us know if you spot any kind of bug.
*Dev Note. Autosave & Renaming Save Files will be added at the release

Cloud Save system has been implemented
*This feature won’t be available in the demo.

Added – Translations system
* Till release, only the English language will be supported.

Balance

• Russian Faction have been nerfed by roughly 10%
  
• USA Faction have been nerfed by roughly 5%
  
• Poland was weak already. Nerfs are pointless.

Bug fixing

• Building GUI should now correctly open
  
• 2 hexed Units will always start on correct Hex. That will fix a lot of bugs.
  
• In certain conditions Bears should no longer shot with vodka
  
• Market Trade Resource has been fixed
  
• You should no longer be able to start the game with closed slots
  
• Fixed some game crashes
  
• Certain Balls should now have a correct Name/Flags

We know that there are still a few bugs, we will try to fix them before release. Thank you for your submissions!

Our mod decided to make an art contest.
Hello fellow countryball enjoyers!
Gud's speaking here. I'm happy to announce that for the nearby two week we will hold a art contest! The rules are very simple:
- make a nice digital or paper drawing that is related to Countryball: Heroes (it can be a character or a situation from the game)
- have fun while doing it!
Prizes will also be included for the best of the bests arts! So if you are amazing and have similar artistic skills to many known painters and nearly painters (some Austrian man), then there is a chance you can win something cool! The prizes include:
1st place: (tutaj wybrać to co bardziej możliwe) A copy of CBH and a special server role: Da Vinciball / 100 PLN Steam giftcard and a special server role: Da Vinciball
2nd place: 40 PLN Steam giftcard

- Fixed Invisible units which trigger,, invisible fights”
* (We had to disable starting defending units in neutral castles -> No worries this functionality will return in Release )
- Fixed Swap Down buttons. From now on, it will no longer be possible to lead the entire army out of the hero. It was hardly bugging the game
- Fixed several bugs that caused crashes ( Still there’s a few left )
- Fixed German Units Infiltrated another creatures

- Fixed a bug where Mati the liar would receive 70 million gold from his kingdom in the 500th turn* *(We forgot to disable this test functionality )

- Fixed Magic Harry stacking on the same hex position
- Fixed Greedy PriestBall death loop
- Fixed Random Shooting Bears. Bears should no longer shot you with the arrows

Q&L
- Tooltips now correctly scale with the screen
- Creature Tooltip Has Been redesigned ( it is now way smaller )
- Buying a Building Will close GUI. Now you’ll be able to see what exactly is being built
- Sound of (It was way 2 annoying ) broken glasses ( Drunkardball ) has been disabled, we’ll re do this sound before release
- Swap Buttons Inside the City now works correctly
- Added and removed several button tooltips

Balance:
Nerf Time:
- Tier 1 Range Units DMG have been nerfed by roughly 10-20%

General:
Tooltips
Our Idea of Tooltips in general is pretty simple.
Anything which You think might have a tooltip -> RMC (Right Mouse Click)
Spells / Button Description -> Those are on Mouse Hoover
We’re not finished yet with tooltips. More improvements coming at the release.

Developer Tips:
- In order to recruit new Heroes / Review old ones. Buy a building: Heroes Tavern.
- You can enter your city by double-clicking the city Icon ( Right Corner of the screen )
- During a battlefield, you Can cast spells only During your Hero Turn.

- Even if we thought that our game is pretty straightforward, We’ll introduce a brand new Tip system on top of the tutorial
