As we approach the end of 2024, we want to take a moment to reflect on this incredible year and share some exciting updates coming your way for both Contractors and Contractors Showdown.

We hope you enjoyed the Halloween headquarters and Pumpkin Head Zombies in Contractors! We know many of you have been asking about our roadmap, and we’re thrilled to announce that a major update is scheduled on November. For Contractors Showdown, we’re especially proud of everything we’ve built together this year. We started 2024 with Alpha tests, and thanks to your feedback, we’re ending it with a brand-new transformation designed just for you.

Now, let’s dive into what’s next for both games!



The modding community has consistently delivered amazing content for everyone to enjoy! We’re excited to bring new features to the mod kit, including vehicles, the Rush game mode, and mechanics like vaulting and zip lines. We’re also increasing player numbers to make each session even more intense. Get ready for the next level of Contractors in November!

With these new features and tools enhancing player mobility—thanks to our amazing modding community—we’re confident that Contractors will deliver fresh, exciting experiences. Vehicles and zip lines will bring a whole new rhythm to the game, adding layers of strategy and dynamic movement that keep gameplay fast-paced and engaging.


Both Bhaptic and Forcetube SDK will be updated to match the latest versions.

Contractors VR will also get EAC implemented

The recent trends in player activity prompted us to pause and rethink the future direction for Contractors Showdown. Our small team at Caveman Studio has been working hard to craft a major update that will bring fresh intensity and depth to the game, with new systems and gameplay features that build on what you already love about Showdown.

With this update, we’re doubling down on immersion, strategy, and player-driven excitement to create a revitalized experience. With this update, you’ll get the best of both worlds, enjoying the original BR mode alongside a fresh new gameplay experience—each offering its excitement and challenges.
