Cold Bed on Route - burikino

We’ve released update v3.05.

The changes are as follows:

-In ship interiors, on planets, and during event dialogues, we have added on-screen prompts indicating that you can flip pages left and right using the A and D keys.

(The left and right arrow keys also still work as before.)

Due to undesirable behavior caused by using the spacebar for button operations, we’ve changed these operations to use the C key instead.

Specifically, the following changes were made from v3.04 → v3.05:

  • Start Screen: Hold Space to start → Hold C to start

  • Ship Interior / Dialogue Screen: Hold Space to propose HEX action → Hold C to propose HEX action

  • Ship Interior / Map Screen: Press Space to navigate → Press C to navigate

  • Planet / Route Screen: Press Space to initiate combat → Press C to initiate combat

  • Ending Screen: Hold Space to exit → Hold C to exit

For all other controls, please refer to the previous update article titled “Departure.”


-When the current cargo weight is less than 0.1 WG but greater than 0.0 WG, the UI would display it as 0.0 WG, which felt unnatural.

This has now been fixed so that any value under 0.1 WG is always displayed as 0.1 WG.


-In Dog &Wolf, once the girl’s name has been revealed in the story, her name will now be displayed consistently thereafter.


Additionally, we are aware of a known issue where if there is no ongoing conversation and you switch away from the “Conversation” tab inside the ship, the tab may not properly disappear.

We haven’t fully isolated the cause yet, but we now have a better sense of when this issue occurs, and we hope to fix it in the next update.

Rootin' Tootin' Lootin' & Shootin' - Raspberry Jam
  • Your bullets are now a lighter colour than enemy bullets
  • Enemy bullets that are about to hit you now flash red
  • Reduced all prices by 20%
  • Glass mode no longer doubles your damage, instead enemies have 60% health
  • Lightning now works with homing and other effects applied when a bullet moves
  • Boomerang no longer homes in on the player and now deals double damage on the way back
  • Bosses fall down faster and the key only disappears once the boss has landed
  • In Classic mode, there is 1 more crate on each floor
  • Upgrades have a bigger area to click and drag
  • Added bigger cursor when hovering over a button
  • Pixel perfect graphics can now be toggled
  • Summoned enemies no longer drop items on Glass mode
  • Thrown items which are lightning travel until they hit something, instead of stopping before moving at all
  • Price tags now get larger to fit 4 digit and 5 digit prices
  • Secret rooms now contain money
  • Improved Swamp wall graphics
  • The mines are slightly brighter
  • Zoom settings are now applied correctly instantly, instead of having to restart the game
  • Rearranging upgrades is now recorded in replays
  • Fixed stacking items of differing quantities
  • Fixed a crash when stacking items

  • Bouncing no longer stops Matchsticks from igniting

Sorry for the delay in this month's update! I was sick for two weeks in June, so development was a bit slow. I'm feeling much better now, so here's the June update!

  • Spent 22 hours discussing the game plot with friends, overhauled it twice, and finally locked down the outlines for all 7 routes.

  • Designed trigger criteria for Moments and Endings in 5 out of 7 routes.

  • Drew and implemented chibi animations for daily activities such as studying and working.

In all love triangle routes, a scale UI will appear at the top of the screen. When you interact with one LI, the heart marker will move toward him a little bit. If you get too close, you might exit the triangle and enter his solo route. To complete the full love triangle route, play strategically and try to stay in the middle.

Fixed a few minor issues:

  • Added a fade transition from the “About Developer” menu to the main menu

  • Fixed a display bug in the “About Developer” screen on 16:10 aspect ratio

  • The “Continue” button is now only available after reaching level 2 — this way, the first story beat isn’t skipped and it feels more natural
