We have some Bright Memory: Infinite news for all of you today!

The original soundtrack of Bright Memory: Infinite is created by composers Jeff Rona (God of War 3, Far Cry 4) and Cody Matthew Johnson (Lost Soul Aside, Devil May Cry 5, Resident Evil 2).

In our interview with Jeff Rona, he said: “Bright Memory: Infinite has been an amazing opportunity to integrate cinematic, orchestral music, ancient Chinese music, and modern electronics. It creates this astonishing world, We hope you love it as much as we enjoyed making it,”



Cody Matthew Johnson has a lot of history with all of the iterations of Bright Memory. Cody told us “At the Tokyo Game Show in 2019, I was fortunate enough to meet PLAYISM, the publishers of Bright Memory. When they told us they were releasing Bright Memory and working with FYQD, I stopped in my tracks and begged them to just introduce us! Sure enough, as we got to know Zeng and the rest of the folks at FYQD, he approached and said ’Why don’t we work together? Why don’t you write music for Bright Memory: Infinite?’”

Throughout our musical collaboration with Cody and Jeff, we exchanged countless ideas on the game’s score. They agreed on the goals of the game’s overall sound and the importance of Chinese folk music and instruments to create a large part of the game’s sonic world. In creating the music of the boss battles, such as the scene in the Dong Drum Tower, we shared many examples of famous Chinese folk songs to draw inspiration for the score’s hybrid approach, blending traditional Chinese instruments, orchestra, and synths.

While playing the game’s battles, we hope you will enjoy the soundtrack created by Jeff Rona and Cody Matthew Johnson. The original soundtrack album of Bright Memory: Infinite is now available on the store page! Available on all other music platforms soon.

For Bright Memory: Infinite, I wanted to focus on adding content to give players a more satisfying experience. As a result, development took three times as long as Bright Memory. This process allowed me to learn how to create a strong game while dealing with time and financial constraints. I spent a lot of time thinking of ways to maximize whatever technology and resources available to me in order to deliver an unforgettable experience through the game. As such, Bright Memory: Infinite represents the culmination of FYQD Studio's growth. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to all my global partners and those who have provided technical support to me.



Game Features
Bright Memory: Infinite features support for 21:9 ultra-wide monitor display, fifth generation TAA, as well as optimization for Xbox controllers. With NVIDIA providing technical support throughout development in the form of ray tracing, DLSS, NVIDIA Relfex support, and the minimization of lag time, Bright Memory: Infinite promises to deliver the ultimate gaming experience to all gamers out there.





DLC Skins
Character and weapon skins will also be available for purchase. Some of these skins can be unlocked in-game upon fulfilling certain requirements. Please note all character and weapon skins are purely cosmetic items and do not alter the character's abilities in any way.



With the release of Bright Memory: Infinite almost upon us. We would like to remind you that Steam users who purchase Bright Memory before Bright Memory: Inifnite's November 11 release will receive Bright Memory: Infinite for free, with the game being added to your library automatically on release.

How is everyone doing? This is FYQD-Studio, developer of Bright Memory: Infinite. Over the past three months, I've managed to complete the voices, soundtrack, menu UI, and DLC skins. I've now moved into the final phase, which is the final polishing phase.

▼As mentioned above, development is nearing the end. In the next two months, I will be focusing on performance, difficulty, weapon, battle, voice, and music optimizations. On top of that, I will also be ironing out some bugs that are still in the game.



▼In addition to RT Reflections, Bright Memory: Inifinite will also support RT Global Illumination, RT Ambient Occusion, RT Shadows, RT Caustics, NVIDIA DLSS.

In Bright Memory: Infinite, players can acquire different weapons as the game and story progress. This video shows the special firing mode of each respective weapon. In the middle and later stages of the game, players will get a sniper gun. The special bullets of the sniper gun contain a viscous explosive, which can stick to the surface of any object - including enemies. Once this explosive has latched on, it explodes, causing devastating shrapnel damage.



In addition, the video also features a demo of a boss battle included in the later stages of the game. The player takes on the “Mysterious Masked Man” (later discovered to be Tian Yu Emperor) in the Hanging Temple at an altitude of 20,000 meters. The player must race to the top of the mountain and use their grapple to latch onto a crashing airplane in order to reach the Hanging City, which is suspended by the immense gravity of the black hole.



Players are always concerned about the facial model of the heroine, Shelia. After collecting feedback from players, FYQD Studio has optimized Shelia’s face once again. The following is a display image, showing a comparison with an image from last year's build. The new model has some added freckles and a mole on her face, and the various facial features have been adjusted. The high-precision face modeling technology used for General Lin was developed late in the schedule and with the tight development time, Shelia’s face has not yet been upgraded to show off the same fine detail as General Lin, but the developer continues to further optimize these various elements.




Development for Bright Memory: Infinite has entered its final phase, with voice recording, music creation, porting, and debugging currently progressing ahead of its release later in 2021. Users who purchase Bright Memory on Steam before the release of Bright Memory: Infinite will be eligible to receive Bright Memory: Infinite for free.

Hello everyone! After 4 months of intense work, I am extremely happy to announce that the main parts of Bright Memory Infinite has been completed. We will now move on to voice recording, soundtrack, porting, and debugging. I will provide you with further updates as development progresses. Please stay tuned!



On 16th June(PDT), FYQD-Studio will be a part of GameSpot's live event -Play For All Livestreams-, with a new exclusive trailer to be shown. Please check it out.


For today, I would like to show you 4 brand new screenshots, which shows new elements, designs, and gameplay improvements.



I have added a new infiltration mission. It features an area under an abnormal phenomenon, where the electromagnetic interference of a black hole renders Shelia's weapons and power armor useless. Sheila is forced to search for other weapons to assassinate the enemies. The assassination scenes will be showed in third-person view.



There are also multiple bosses that take on different forms during battle. Bright Memor's boss fight areas were too small, so I have made improvements on that and added breakable objects for Bright Memory: Infinite. The pagoda shown in the screenshot can be destroyed in realtime, which adds to the visual effects and tension of boss fights.



At last year's GDC, I showed a gameplay video of an aircraft battle scene. That was created for the purpose of technical verification. In the completed version, you will have the ability to grapple and dance around the aircraft wings to defeat multiple enemies.



Finally, you can see Shelia speeding around in a vehicle. There will be exciting car chases in Bright Memory: Infinite where players will have avoid enemy fire while firing back with a turret. I have also added elements that will make driving difficult, such as wild animals around the map and uneven surfaces. I have also included a figure inside the vehicle that changes its expressions according to the speed at which you are travelling at, or any impact suffered by te vehicle.


With the main parts of Bright Memory: Infinite completed, I will now work on voice recording, the soundtrack, debugging, and porting. The game is currently planned for release in 2021. And those who purchase Bright Memory before Bright memory: Infinite releases will get the sequel for free!

On top of that, there will be a 20% discount on Bright Memory during the Indie Live Expo Sale on 5th June, so don't miss out on this opportunity!
