Boson X - ian
My newest project is called Mars First Logistics and it’s about delivering lots of awkwardly shaped cargo across a rugged open world using your own mechanical creations!

I’ve been enjoying the process of making this game. Instead of designing individual levels or puzzles, I’m making a set of toys and seeing what they’re like to play with in the game world, finding and exploring interesting interactions, with just enough direction so the player doesn’t feel lost.

The game’s graphics are inspired by Lego instruction manuals. The simple black outlines and flat primary colours have a simultaneously playful and utilitarian vibe that I think suits the game. If it looks appealing, give it a wishlist :)

If you liked Boson X, then my new white-knuckle teleport-em-up JUMPGRID is for you! Check it out here!

JUMPGRID plays like a minimal speed-Pac-Man where your movement is restricted to teleporting between points on the "jump-grid". Clearing a level requires simply visiting all 9 points on the grid, but this is complicated by ever-moving cosmic hazards - touch one of these and the level instantly resets ready for you to try again (and again, and again). It's a game about training your muscle memory until you learn to dance with your fingers!

JUMPGRID received an IGF 2019 honorable mention for Excellence in Design.

I've just released a new puzzle game called Dissembler:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/797620/Dissembler

Like Boson X it's visually striking and can be challenging to play. Unlike Boson X it's a slow-paced puzzle game. It starts off gently, but soon introduces subtle interactions that require logical thinking to proceed.

You play by flipping colored tiles to match groups of 3 or more that then disappear. This isn't like your typical match-3 though as no new tiles drop in to replace the matched tiles. Instead your goal is to clear all tiles in each puzzle, so the order you match them makes a difference. Later on it introduces new types of tiles that require more thinking ahead.

The game features over 120 levels (including some extra levels not in the mobile version) as well as daily generated puzzles and an infinite mode with a Steam leaderboard.

I hope you'll give it a go!
