############################# ## Steam Workshop ## ## When reading any file, the game will prioritize files in the 'mods/' folder first, followed by ## subscribed items from the Steam Workshop, and finally the default game files. ## ## You can find all files for this example in the 'modsExample/' folder within the game files. ## ##### To create a new mod that can be submitted to the Steam Workshop, create a new folder for your mod in the 'mods/' directory. Inside this folder, organize your files in the same structure as they are found in the game's directories. Example: # Step 1 Create a new folder within the 'mods/' directory in the game files. For this example, we'll name the folder 'MyOwnMod'. Make sure the folder name is unique! # Step 2 In the newly created folder (example path: mods/MyOwnMod/), create a text file named mod.txt. ## EXAMPLE CODE OF mod.txt file { Name: "Two new Governments", Description: "This item will add two new Governments, and two flags.", Tags: [], ChangeNote: "First release", } ## END OF EXAMPLE CODE OF mod.txt file Copy it to mod.txt and edit it. Set a name for your mod that will be visible in the Steam Workshop. Name: "Your Title of the Mod in the Steam Workshop", The same with Description and ChangeNote. ## Tags In your tags, put the categories that your mod fits into You can use as many tags as you like: Tags: [], Tags: [], Example tags: Tags: [], Tags: [], Tags: [], # Step 3 - Main mod image: "logo.png" In the same newly created folder: (Example path: mods/MyOwnMod/) Place the main image file of the mod, which will be published on the Steam Workshop. The mod's main image file must be named "logo.png". # Step 4 We are already configured, now we can place the files that will be part of this mod in this folder. We will create new governments for the game in this example. ## Basically, you create the file structure of the main game in the mod folder. The Governments file is located in the path: Game/Governments.json So copy this file to the mod folder. Imporatant! : use the same path where you found this file. mods/MyOwnMod/game/ ## The file was in the game folder, so create a game folder inside the mod folder and place the copied file there. If the "game" folder does not exist in the mod folder, create it. And there place Governments.json Now when you launch the game, the game will load the Governments.json file from your mod. (Path of the file: mods/MyOwnMod/game/Governments.json) # Step 5 Let's make some changes to the game! Extra_Tag: "k", (The tag should be unique) To publish your mod to Steam Workshop, open the game, go to editor -> Steam Workshop -> and find your mod folder, click on it to publish. ## Update the mod To update the mod, follow the same steps. You can change "ChangeNote" description in mod.txt. Do not delete the automatically created id.txt file!
Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders - Megagon Industries
Hello Riders,

On Monday (7 pm MEST/ https://notime.zone/O9-Ym_uX7364j) the Steam Next Fest starts and we will open up the 2-8 players Racing Multiplayer and a second trail. We are all super excited to finally roam the mountains with you together!

We also took your feedback to heart and rebalanced the Lynx ski for the Next Fest demo.
  • Initial pushing will be stronger
  • The air resistance will be weaker for lower speeds but stronger for higher speeds. This means you can better accelerate at the beginning but in general, Lynx won’t be as crazy fast anymore.
  • Landing slightly sideways will also be more forgiving so you don’t crash that easily.
Due to the balancing changes, we will start with fresh leaderboards on Monday as some of the current speedrunning strategies won’t be achievable anymore.

We wanted to give this warning ahead of time so you don’t wonder where your times will have gone on Monday.

Though we are thinking about ways to immortalize the Top 10 Total Time for the Blue and Black Slope of the Pre-Demo in the game, to honor all the amazing runs we have seen over the last week!

We are pretty confident that we have finally fixed the crash bug some people experience when starting the game and we will upload a patch on Monday.

Bugfixes:
  • Fixed an issue with the host player getting the fade-out death effect when a nearby client player is killed by the Hunter for the first time,

Currently working on implementing the remaining features for the Store, expect several updates for this on the Testing Beta (you can freely opt into this via Steam) the coming weeks.
We're also starting work on the new items, the first one available in the Store will be the Fire Extinguisher since that one is already in the game. More items to deal with the Infection and Suit upgrades are coming.

Wizard Survivors - Jam Studios
Hi, it's James! Its been about a month since Wizard Survivors released. First I'd like to thank all of you for playing and giving your feedback! It was all really valuable and really helped improve the game.

This is the first of many free content updates for WS! Since release, I've been working on new content for the game - mainly the new character, the Necromancer. Raise undead skeleton soldiers to fight for you and manipulate your life in exchange for power! I'm happy with how she turned out and hope you enjoy unlocking and playing her.



As well as that, there are several randomly generated structures that generate in your world to vary up the forest! More structures/other world generation improvements are planned for future updates too!
The final major change is the addition of achievements! There are 17 in total for you to get so far but more are planned to be added in future updates.
