We are extremely grateful for your overwhelming reception of FUMES early access. All of your support, feedback and reviews mean a lot to our tiny team!

This small update is focusing on tweaks and fixes... but we also squeezed in some new content:
  • 16 new stickers
  • 3 new skins
  • 3 Minescrap equipped enemies

Stats bar display rework

We had to address a major issue - scaling of all stat bars was incorrect. This might look like we changed some stats on some parts, but we didn't - it just that they are now scaled correctly to make it possible to compare them.

  • Minescrap mines lifetime reduced
  • Rammer and Stopper enemies archetypes occurrence increased
  • Convoy Activities distance fail state fix + shortened
  • Convoy Hijack defenders being Cubs only fix
  • Enemy mines no longer explode upon contact with other enemies
  • Unitrack Steiger missing skin fix
  • Missing Flakwagon description translation fix
  • Missing Convoy Hijack description translation fix
  • Fixed several issues with Russian localization
This update was released for both full and demo.

  • Reduced duelist part drop quantity (this is a temporary fix because duelists are currently dropping twice as many parts as they're meant to)
  • Temporarily removed Pressured Performance volatile mod due to infinite loop crash

🌍 Hello World!

We’re super excited to welcome everyone to the very first instalment of the Quartermaster devlog!

To kick things off, we’d like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and share how Quartermaster came to life.

We are Cherrypick Games, a boutique independent game developer with quite a track record.

📜 A bit of history

The studio was founded back in 2014, when two colleagues, who were working at one of the biggest PC and console game developers in Poland, decided to join forces and establish their studio. At the time, the focus was on mobile-first titles.

We started with a series of casual mobile games, but our initial ambition was to create a mobile simulation-building game: My Hospital. The game was a success, and it was just the beginning.

We continued developing and self-publishing increasingly ambitious mobile games until we decided it was time to shift our focus to PC. This pivot felt natural as our roots were in PC development, and we were already deeply excited about the thriving indie scene on platforms like Steam. So, we took a leap of faith and began the transformation.

🚪 Enter Quartermaster

That was then, this is now.

Quartermaster began as a passion project in mid-2024. When the idea to combine base-building with spies, gadgets, and undercover operations first surfaced, we were all in. Partnering with the amazing crew at Frozen District has made the thought of engaging on the journey even more exciting!

We’re currently a tight-knit team of ten people, all focused on what we affectionately call Q. We’re united by our love of games, pop culture, and, of course, game development. Our motto is quality first, and we’re pouring our hearts into making Quartermaster something truly special.

That’s it for a quick introduction to who we are.

Pâquerette and Ophéline are unsure why Hèrbe is here and what they’re up to… and Hèrbe doesn't look like they know either… but hey Hèrbe is here? I guess??? Congrats?????

Tired of the map being impractical? You can finally see all 5 burrows from there at a glance, with reworked UI and additional info!

This one is still a mock-up and a WIP being integrated into the game!

This is the last stretch for Into The Bunframe since, as you can see, all the features we had teased have now been unveiled~

We hope this year will be kinder to us and will see the release of everything we’ve promised so far.

This is a small update for the game, thanks to your feedback!

We have also launched a discount in honor of the earlier release of full support for Steam Deck + Linux.

The promotion runs from July 31, 2025, to August 14, 2025!

Patch Change Log:

- Fixed interface bugs, including button display on Steam Deck;

- Increased time between player switches.

We remind you that a corrected official layout for Steam Deck was previously released.

Be sure to go to the controller settings before launching the game and select the Steam Deck layout in the "Community Layouts" section. If for some reason it does not appear, click the "Show all layouts" button.

Please let us know if you have any issues with the above steps; we will integrate it directly into the game build (the layout will appear in "Your Layouts," where the integrated layout for the XBOX 360 controller is currently located).

You can share your suggestions for improving the game or report any bugs in the game's Community. We will definitely consider and try to implement your wishes!
