It’s with a heavy heart that we announce today that the Atlas Reactor servers will be shutting down. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly, but we have come to the conclusion that the game can no longer sustain itself.

Mervin Lee Kwai, Vice President of Development at gamigo and a former Executive Producer: “Atlas Reactor was a truly innovative game built by a passionate group of highly skilled developers. I was lucky enough to watch our team breathe life into the world of Atlas on a daily basis. They broke the mold of same-y games, and a dedicated community rallied around the title. Despite the support of this great group of fans, Atlas Reactor never grew big enough to fund its continued development. It’s a shame to see this chapter come to a close, but perhaps we’ll have a chance to revisit the innovative spirit of Atlas in the future.”

All purchasing has been shut off, and we have added new ways to acquire products that were previously for real money purchase. Additionally, we have turned the XP, Flux, and ISO rates up dramatically.

Our current plans are to run the servers until June 28th 2019, this is subject to change and we will announce here if it changes.

For all player who have logged into Atlas at least once between 01/01/2018 – 04/16/2019, we have a small parting gift for you. More information will be sent to the email address that you used to register your Atlas account.

• Rank wins now award 40 Prestige Points and losses award 10.
  
• New Taunt for Lex, Rampart and Brynn added for purchase in the collection for Prestige Points!
  
• Cloudspire has thawed.
  
• Mad Love has begun! Purchase Loot Matrix packs for bonus Mad Love Loot Matrixes. Keep an eye out for Alerts that award Mad Love Loot Matrixes.
  
• Mad Love skins will be available for direct Iso purchase after 2/26, until 3/5. An additional Variant for each Mad love skin added!
  
• Chapters 6 and 7 completion awards three Mad love Loot Matrixes!
  
• Every 10 levels after level 500 now award Legendary Loot Matrixes!

New Mods:
These mods will initially be excluded from Ranked much in the same way that new Freelancers are held back initially. Loadouts for Ranked are now separated from PVP, and can be set in Ranked matches or Draft custom games.

• (Proteus Grenade) Collateral Damage - Area of effect increased.

• (On The Run) Perfect Getaway - Cooldown reduced by 1 if no enemies are hit.
  
• (Safecracker) Pilferer - Increased aiming Variance to 180 degrees

Elle

• (Overcharge) Undercharge - Reduced damage, can be used for two attacks

• (Boom Boom)Triple fun - Increases number of mines to three, Reduces direct damage by 6.

Juno

• (Riot Shield) Fortification - Grants 10 shields to nearby allies.

Kaigin

• (Razor Tempest) Wave of Steel - Increases number of shurikens by 1. Reduced damage and energy.
  
• (Spectre of Death) Vengeance Seeker - Range increased by 2.

• (Afterburners) Engage NOS - Grants Haste next turn

• (Embiggify) Medicat - You and any allies the disc travels over are healed by 6.

• (Pounce)Frolic - Gain 8 shields and 2 energy for every ally that is adjacent to you after you pounce. These shields last until broken.

• (Cold Snap) Rimescale - Target Gains 8 shields
  
• (Polar Vortex) Climate Engineer - Lasts an additional turn, deals 10 damage on final turn.

• (Rocket Jump) Long Range Love - Range increased by 2

Frontline

Asana

• (Stand and Fight) Curved Blade - Can now bounce off one wall
  
• (Guardian Angel) Herald of Decay - Enemies hit are weakened until end of next turn.

Brynn

• (Impale) Tip of Justice - Enemies on the tip of the spear take extra damage.
  
• (Soaring Shield) Boomerang - The shield continues after hitting a target. If you bounce it back to yourself, reduce the cooldown by 1.

Garrison

• (Heavy Metal) Fuel Rods - Now has 2 stocks, cooldown increased to 6

Magnus

• (Power Drive) Clobbering Time - If only hitting enemies in the second or third arc power drive will only lose one arc of range.
  
• (Horns Up) Adaptation - Heals instead of shields on second turn if you do not dash

Phaedra

• (Lair) Aftershock - Quakes again next turn for 12 damage.

Rask

• (Uncontrollable Fury) Lingering Plasma - Plasma persists 1 additional turn.

Titus

• (Berserker Charge) Single Minded - Increased damage to primary target. That enemy is followed this turn)

Support

Aurora

• (Paralazer) Pulse Beam - Now a free action. No longer applies shields.
  
• (Heart of the Storm) Wave of Light - Knockback all adjacent enemies.

Finn

• (Refreshing Spray) Flounder - Additionally weakens enemies hit for the turn. Generates 2 energy per enemy hit.
  
• (Bubble Trouble) Double the Bubble - Persists an additional turn if the shield isn't broken.

Helio

• (Blast Shield) Power Transfer - No longer generates energy. Shielded target gains 10 energy.
  
• (Disruption Matrix) Firewall - Blocks vision for enemies.

Khita

• (Take Aim) Recharging Mark - Cooldown of Take aim is reset if it is not triggered.
  
• (Rain of Arrows) Umbrella Weather - If only one enemy is hit they are Scrambled until end of next turn.

Meridian

• (Reforge) Crusader - Range of Reforge reduced by 2. Base movement increased by 1.
  
• (Boneshatter) Conqueror - Angle of attack increased.

Su-Ren

• (Martial Master) Toad Style - If 2 or more enemies are hit gain 10 shields next turn.

As you may have noticed, recently we’ve been experiencing some certificate issues with our websites. These same issues also caused some players to have trouble accessing games.

We’ve released fixes for the majority of these issues, but we have an update coming for Glyph that should be the final step to resolving this completely. Unfortunately, players using older versions of Glyph won’t be able to update to this newest version.

If you have trouble updating Glyph you’ll want to delete it from your computer and download the latest version. Find the latest version here.

Hey Everyone!

First up, I want to thank you all for your support over the past few years and for continuing to play Atlas Reactor. We’ve got a new patch coming your way in the weeks ahead!

Below are changes you will see coming in future patches.

2019 Season
Future Seasons will not be numbered, but will be named after the current year. This next season is planned to be at least 5-6 months long instead of the usual 3-4 months.

We have revamped the rewards from Season levels to include rewards from the entire history of Atlas Reactor. You will find rewards up to level 500! If you reach a level with a reward that you have already collected, you will be given a Legendary Loot Matrix instead.

These Legendary Loot Matrixes are full of rare and legacy skins, taunts, emojis, overcons and more. We have also added the ability to purchase season levels, and you will receive all the rewards given for those levels at once. Since every season level has the reward of a Loot Matrix, we will be removing the Loot Matrix packs since they are mostly redundant, though the packs we offer during special events will still return.

New Skin! Commando Zuki will be released as a reward for reaching level 500 or purchase with Prestige Points. The two offered will be different variants, so you can collect both!

New Mods for all Freelancers! Over this season we plan to release new mods periodically. One thing we were concerned about was how a large influx of mods would affect ranked balance, so some mods will not be available in ranked mode initially.

Ranked
End of Season Ranked rewards will now be given based on the highest rank achieved instead of some rewards being given based on standing at the end of the season. New rewards are being added for purchase with Prestige Points. We are also increasing the amount of Prestige Points given per match to make up for seasons being longer.

I also wanted to respond to some of the questions/concerns I’ve been seeing:

• During 2018 we released both Vonn and Lex, while popular characters, they didn’t help bring new players into the game. We love adding new Freelancers to the game, but currently we are focusing on adding sustainable progression and variety to gameplay.
• Players have mentioned long queue times for ranked during non-primetime hours, we are hoping that the new ranked rewards will give players an incentive to queue up. This is something we will continue keeping an eye on.
• Hexcellence and Oblivion will be returning to the PVP queues with the patch. We are also planning to run more alternate game mode weekends like the one we ran late last year for extraction.

Hey folks,

We’re going to be performing maintenance on our network during the ArcheAge downtime on December 12, 2018. There shouldn’t be any downtime at all for our other games. Most players likely won’t notice anything has happened, but we just wanted to give you all a head’s up.

However, during this maintenance, there is a chance that you may be disconnected from one of our other games. If this happens, fear not! You should be able to login again immediately. In the very worst-case scenario we’ll need to perform a restart on the servers for any game experiencing connection issues. Once the restart is complete, you’ll be able to play normally again.
