Assault Android Cactus+ - Sycle
Features
  • New whitebox level - Transit
  • Three new enemy types
  • New level dressing - Checkpoint and Revolution

Tuning
  • Coral's plasma ball travels with moving geometry
  • Flying enemies do not travel with moving geometry!
  • Enemy Red Bomber attack rebalanced
  • Adjustments to weapon orb drop rates
  • leaderboard resets - Heat (formerly Furnace) and Revolution
  • Numerous small tweaks and fixes

Known Issues
  • "Music Walls" don't display anything when Music volume is set to zero.
  • There is a difficult-to-reproduce game freeze. We've confirmed it's affected a number of people, but we haven't been able to figure out the pattern or narrow down the cause. We're doing our best to track it down and sincerely apologise if you're affected in the meantime. If you experience it repeatedly, please get in touch!

Assault Android Cactus+ - Sycle
This is a small update that's mostly about fixing up and improving what's already there, although there's a few neat additions

Tuning and Improvements
  • more animations and effects on Helo (Aubergine's companion / weapon)
  • new music for World 4
  • lockdown enemies can now be dragged by Aubergine's singularity weapon
  • Helo's attack is more consistent
  • enemies dim when destroyed
  • DualShock 4 controller supported on OSX and Linux
  • numerous small bug fixes

Known Issues
  • 64 bit Linux version doesn't support leaderboards (32 bit version does though)
  • DualShock 4 does not work correctly in Windows if a Xbox 360 pad is plugged in
  • mines can get stuck in odd places in Centrifuge

  • New whitebox levels - Centrifuge, Control
  • New enemy type - Red 'Fido' variant, fires 8 mini rockets

Tuning and Improvements
  • General enemy optimizations, in particular Wasps are now less performance intensive and more consistent in the Vespula fight
  • Wasp enemies now drop more powerups and award more score
  • General audio improvements (Cross fades etc)
  • Dual Shock 4 controller is now supported (Windows only for first implementation)

  • Configurable controls - still work in progress
  • New level select system

  • Leaderboards default to checking against friends list, then the global list (on the Stage Clear screen) Can be changed in the Game Options menu, including to disable submitting scores to the leaderboards all together.
  • Command line multi monitor support, add -screens:3 to your command line to support three monitors

  • Vespula's stage time increased (more chance of getting a time bonus - the leaderboard has NOT been reset, but it should now be possible to get higher scores than previously)
