TOS-1M Buratino

The TOS-1M Buratino is a prototype version of the Russian TOS-1/TOS-1A heavy rocket launcher. It was designed in 1997 at Omsk as an improvement to the old TOS-1 whose roots go back all the way to the Afghan War. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the TOS-1M Buratino is a Tier 10 Premium Tank Destroyer. As befits its massive rocket launcher installed on the top of a T-90A MBT chassis, its firepower is all but unparalleled and you are looking at perhaps the most destructive vehicle of Armored Warfare. It is available in two configurations – with fast-launching 122mm rockets and the iconic 220mm rockets that can be unlocked either by installing a skin (Koshmar), or by progressing through an active Battle Path.

The TOS-1M is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.

Additionally, we've prepared a skin bundle with a new skin. The skin “Koshmar” we have prepared for you is for the TOS-1M Tier 10 Premium TD. Armata 152

The Armata 152 is a version of the T-14 Armata, armed with larger cannon. One of the upgrades considered for the T-14 Armata was the increase of its caliber to 152mm in order to absolutely, positively destroy anything with the first shot. The 2A83 smoothbore is a behemoth of a gun, designed in the last days of the Soviet empire for the next generation of super-tanks. It’s massive, heavy and quite costly to produce, but, most importantly, it was never truly needed to deal with the western MBTs since the standard 125mm guns were (and still are) up to the task. That is why it never found its way on any Soviet MBT with even the standard T-14 Armata being armed with an improved 125mm cannon. You can, however, experience its awesome firepower in Armored Warfare! Learn more about it in a dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the T-14 Armata 152 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. While not firing as fast as its 125mm counterpart, the 152mm rounds do enormous damage, often eliminating weaker opponents with a single shot. And then there’s the platform itself – the Armata, the most modern Main Battle Tank in the world. Earn it and use it to dominate!

The Armata 152 Tier 10 Premium MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.

Boyevaya Podruga Bundle (T-14 Armata)

The Boyevaya Podruga skin for the T-14 Armata Tier 10 Main Battle Tank is modeled after a famous Soviet WW2 tank, commanded by Mariya Oktyabrskaya. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

The skin is available as a part of the Boyevaya Podruga bundle, which contains the following items:

  • Skin: Boyevaya Podruga for T-14 Armata

  • 8 Platinum Loot Crates

  • 500 Gold

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.

Bundle (T-80UM-1)

This skin for the T-80UM-1 Tier 8 MBT is based on the camouflage and markings as seen in 2006 on a T-80U in Kubinka. You can read more about it in a dedicated article.

We are offering the Defender skin in a bundle, which includes:

  • Defender skin for the T-80UM-1 MBT

  • 3 Platinum Loot Crates

  • 500 Gold

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.

https://armoredwarfare.com/web-shop?tags=bundle

BMP-1P Spetsnaz Skin

The skin for the BMP-1P Tier 4 AFV is based on a BMP-1 belonging to the 101st Special Operations Brigade of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, as seen during the Battle of Grozny in 1996. You can read more in our dedicated article.

The skin is available as a part of the Spetsnaz Bundle, which contains the following items:

  • Skin: Spetsnaz

  • Russian (Interior Forces) camouflage

  • 3 Platinum Loot Crates

  • 500 Gold

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.

Kurganets-25

The Kurganets-25 Infantry Fighting Vehicle is intended as a cutting edge future replacement to the old BMP series in Russian service. While not as chunky and expensive as the T-15 Armata super-heavy IFV, it’s designed to finally offer the 21st century protection levels the Russian military has been demanding for a long time. However, the design turned out to be quite expensive and while it is currently undergoing state trials, it is unlikely to be ever mass-produced. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Kurganets-25 is a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. Even though it offers decent protection and mobility for its class, this vehicle is all about firepower. To make sure you always have the right tool for the job, it comes with three distinctive weapon systems – a 57mm autocannon for light targets, fast and small Bulat missiles for highly mobile targets and, finally, full-sized ATGMs that can defeat pretty much anything on the battlefield. If dealing damage is your thing, few vehicles will match your playstyle better.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.

https://armoredwarfare.com/web-shop?tags=bundle

Msta-S

The Msta-S SPG was developed as a replacement to the older 2S3 Akatsiya. The goal was to match (or surpass) the newly developed NATO artillery pieces with long 155mm guns. The production began in 1988 and is currently ongoing with a modernized variant rolling out for the Russian military. More than 500 Msta-S SPGs are still in Russian service and dozens were exported to several other countries. It has seen some combat during the Second Chechen War and the War in Donbass. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Msta-S is a Tier 9 Self-Propelled Gun, which makes it only usable in the Global Operations mode and in PvE. It comes with two shell types – a slow-flying one with a high flight arc, and a fast-flying one for use against more mobile targets.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.

https://armoredwarfare.com/web-shop?tags=bundle

Khrizantema-S

The Khrizantema-S is a dedicated tank hunter, built on a modified BMP-3 hull. The first Khrizantema-S prototype appeared in public as early as 1996 with the initial production variant (9P157) entering service in 2005. Around 2010, an upgraded variant called 9P157-2 appeared with a modernized Ukrainian optics system and a hull machinegun the original model lacked. This variant was in use until 2017. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Khizantema-S is a Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer. It is quite a stealthy vehicle armed with a twin ATGM launcher. The key to achieving excellent results with this machine is long-range ATGM sniping followed by rapid relocation. The missiles are quite powerful and make hits easy thanks to their excellent performance.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.

https://armoredwarfare.com/web-shop?tags=bundle

Gadyuka

The Gadyuka (“Viper”) is a Soviet-era fire support vehicle consisting of a T-72A hull and turret but instead of the main gun, the vehicle is armed with two 30mm autocannons and two rocket pods in order to perform better against infantry in urban and mountainous environments. A single prototype was built in 1996 and even though the project was cancelled, it eventually led to the rise of the BMPT Terminator series. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Gadyuka is a Tier 6 Premium Tank Destroyer. Despite having only average protection, its two 30mm autocannons can, along with deadly rocket salvos, rip through enemy vehicles with ease. Indeed, the Gadyuka is one of the most destructive vehicles of its Tier and a worthy addition to every player’s arsenal.

Armored Warfare - 2000Valand

Commanders!

We are happy to announce that the Update 0.360 is now available!

List of Update 0.360 Changes

Premium Vehicles for Gold

In this update, we are adding the following Premium vehicles to the dealer trees. These are now available for Gold:

  • Sophie Wölfli: M60-2000 Tier 7 MBT for 5500 Gold

  • Sophie Wölfli: Stryker ADATS Tier 9 TD for 14000 Gold

  • Zhang Feng: T-72M2 Wilk Tier 6 MBT for 3250 Gold

  • Zhang Feng: WWO Wilk Tier 8 TD for 9000 Gold

  • Zhang Feng: VT5 Tier 9 LT for 14000 Gold

  • Marat Shishkin: BMPT Mod.2000 Tier 8 TD for 9000 Gold

  • Marat Shishkin: Challenger Falcon Tier 8 MBT for 9000 Gold

  • Francine De Laroche: Type 90 Tier 7 MBT for 5500 Gold

XM1302 Adjustment

We have analyzed the statistics of the new XM1302 Light Tank and have determined that the vehicle is a little bit too strong. Alright, not just a little bit – we are looking at 65% PvP winrate, making it currently hands down the best vehicle in the game by a wide margin, which is something that has to be addressed.

We are therefore making the following adjustments:

  • Removed the Spall Liner module increasing the vehicle’s hitpoints

  • Removed the Improved Transmission module increasing the vehicle’s maximum speed

  • Improved the vehicle’s hitpoints to 3300

  • Improved the vehicle’s maximum speed to 85 km/h

  • Reduced the Mitigation ability damage reduction values from 50%/75%/90% to 40%/55%/70% (the ability still reduces module damage taken)

In short, we removed two modules but improved the base values to compensate (even a bit beyond the bonus the modules provided) and reduced the damage reduction of the Mitigation ability (the speed thresholds remain the same). The vehicle will still be very powerful (we haven’t nerfed its firepower) but now won’t be all but unstoppable.

Rough Riders Battle Path

In this update, we are fixing the following issues of the Rough Riders Battle Path and its vehicles:

  • We (fingers crossed) fixed the issue plaguing the Battle Path Shop where players weren’t able to buy items due to the fact that what they see in the Shop is not what the server sees. Such desynchronizations should no longer occur

  • Rolling Thunder mission can no longer be completed using any vehicle and requires Light Tanks as intended

  • All MERDCS camouflages from the main progression are now correctly compensated (one was missing and we will send the missing Battle Coins to the affected players)

  • ELKE: Vehicle is now assigned to Oscar Faraday

Vehicle Fixes and Updates

With each patch we continue (and will continue) to update vehicles based on your feedback and fix them. In this update, we have the following changes for you:

  • Fixed the collision model of a number of vehicles (T-80B, Type 90-II, VFM5, ZBL-08, Assaulter, BMP-2M, BMP-3M, Challenger 1)

  • Fixed an issue where attempting to deploy infantry when driving on a slope leads to their instant death

  • Fixed an issue where it was sometimes impossible to load different shells in the ammunition window

  • When firing autocannons in the first person view mode, players can no longer see traces of gunsmoke

  • BMPT-72: Fixed an issue that made it impossible to use the Supercharged APS active ability

  • BMT-72-140: Fixed the gun depression angles

  • BMT-72-140: Removed an incorrect trait from the vehicle (as it does not feature multiple weapon configurations)

  • BTR-82A: Small visual model fixes

  • Gepard: Fixed an issue causing the aiming reticle to move when switching between first person and third person views

  • K1A1: Upgrade modules are now installed by default and do not require unlock

  • KF41 Prototype: Small visual model fixes

  • KNIFV NLOS: The module adding a bonus to target lock speed from a module is now working correctly (also, we reduced the bonus from 25% to 20%)

  • M551 Sheridan: Improved engine now actually improves vehicle performance

  • Puma: Tracks no longer move faster than roadwheels

  • Shilka: Stock AP shell penetration increased from 60mm to 220mm

  • Shilka: Improved AP shell penetration increased from 100mm to 270mm

  • Shilka: PELE shell penetration increased from 92mm to 220mm

  • T92 and T-92 ACAV: Fixed the visual model (machineguns no longer fly in the air)

  • T-62: Fixed the visual model (gun no longer flies in the air)

  • T-64BV Mod.2017: Small visual model fixes

  • T-90A Burlak: Fixed the flying damaged armor elements on the Gromozeka skin

  • TOS-1M: Fixed an issue causing the aiming reticle to move when switching between first person and third person views

  • VCAC Mephisto: Improved the time between missile launches from 3s to 2.5s

  • VFM5: Added the partial reloading feature again

  • ZTZ-20: Small visual model fixes

General Changes

  • We continue to research the map loading issues and have implemented several adjustments in order to mitigate their impact (however, the issue is not considered fixed)

  • Fixed the Beasts of Steel event mission description (added Tier requirement)

  • Fixed an issue that produced a black screen upon pressing the Reconnect button (when experiencing a disconnect)

  • Rate of Decay: Fixed the collision of several rocks so that players no longer fall through them

  • Several smaller localization fixes

  • Added a number of future event assets

Armored Warfare - 2000Valand

Commanders!

This autumn, we’ll be replacing the current set of Contract missions that allow you to receive the BMP-1AM Basurmanin AFV with a brand-new African contract that will feature a new prize – the Olifant Mk.2 Main Battle Tank!

The Olifant Mk.2 (Afrikaans for “Elephant”) is South Africa’s most advanced Main Battle Tank to date but, much like many other vehicles of the same class, it’s build on much older foundations. The Olifant is a heavily modified (and the final evolution of) the British Centurion MBT, the roots of which go back the final days of the Second World War.

South Africa purchased some 200 Centurions Mk.3 from the United Kingdom in the early 1950s but they didn’t last long in service due to issues with maintenance constant overheating. In 1961, half of them were sold off to Switzerland and the other half was mothballed. However, with the threat of Angola rising in the mid-1970s, it was decided to bring them back.

The first Olifants (the Mk.1 version) appeared in the late 1970s. With the help of Israel, they were retrofitted with different engines and built upon imported hulls. The armament was local-made, however, making the Olifant the best indigenous African tank in history. The tank saw battle in 1987. During a single battle, South African Olifants destroyed two Angolan T-55 tanks.

In the early 1990s, the Mk.1B version appeared with additional armor. The final Mk.2 version was designed with lessons from the Border War in mind. The initial requirements from 1998 called for 96 brand-new MBTs but with the existing budget restraints, it was decided to upgrade existing Olifant Mk.1B’s instead.

The Mk.1B version already featured upgraded armor (in form of composite plates covering both the hull and the turret) and the Mk.2 added a new engine to the package along with a new fire control system governing the 105mm Denel GT3B gun.

Ultimately, only 25 vehicles of this type were built between 2005 and 2018. Still, the Olifant is a great example of what budget upgrades can accomplish. With gradual parts replacements over the decades, not much is left of the old Centurion.

In Armored Warfare, the Olifant Mk.2 will be a Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank.

Overall, we are looking at a relatively well-protected Main Battle Tank for its Tier. Compared to Centurion AVRE, the main difference is of course the main gun, which, in this case, is a 105mm rifled cannon. As such, the Olifant will offer more consistent firepower compared to the AVRE, making it more suitable to prolonged engagements. The vehicle will feature a standard set of Tier-appropriate shells, including APFSDS, HESH and HE.

A unique element of this vehicle is the presence of smoke shells and white phosphorus shells. The Olifant will be able to fire these shells from its main gun, providing extra support on the battlefield.

While lacking ERA, the protection will also be excellent thanks to all that additional armor on its Centurion hull. Aiding in this regard will be the Defense unlockable active ability. Its 1040hp engine will also ensure solid mobility across all surfaces, roughly comparable to the Merkava Mk.2D, although its maximum speed won’t be exactly high (58 km/h).

Alongside the vehicle, you will be able to obtain other prizes as well during the next contact (for completing Contract Missions), including:

  • South African camouflage

  • Various South African decals

We hope that you’ll enjoy the new contract and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

It features a number of improvements and extra components, most notably a dozer blade, a Brimstone ATGM twin launcher and an advanced camera system by Elbit. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Challenger 2 Streetfighter is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. Its main advantages include excellent frontal armor (enhanced by the presence of its dozer blade covering its lower frontal plate), increased ramming damage and long range lethality, courtesy of a powerful ATGM launcher. Otomatic

The Otomatic was an attempt from the 1980s and 1990s to mate originally naval 76mm rapid-firing cannon with a tracked chassis (either of Palmaria or a Leopard) to create an advanced anti-aircraft gun. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Otomatic a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. Thanks to its fast-firing 76mm gun it can deal tremendous amounts of damage over short periods of time and can deal effectively with any target it encounters on the battlefield.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.

https://armoredwarfare.com/web-shop?tags=bundle

Gepard

The Gepard is one of the best short-range anti-aircraft self-propelled guns in the world. Made primarily for Germany and the Netherlands, it remains in active use to this day and has recently seen some combat in Ukraine. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Gepard a Tier 8 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. Unlike the Otomatic, it relies not on a single larger gun, but on the hailstorm of shells provided by its two 35mm autocannons. Even the toughest of targets crumble under its withering fire.

  • In case you encounter an issue claiming the vehicles in the Web Shop (Error -1006), please wait 15 minutes and try again

  • Like what you see? If you play a temporary vehicle and later decide to obtain it permanently (by any means, including random drops, Contracts, Steam DLCs, Web Shop, Battle Path or as a prize from a Loot Crate), your progression (such as crew training) will carry over from the temporary version issued during this event

  • There is a known issue with some temporary vehicles having wrong icons, the vehicles themselves are however working as intended

  • Having issues claiming gifts with Error -1006? Please wait 15 minutes and try again!

  • Items from Web Shop disappear after claiming them – look for your vehicle tokens in Inventory

We hope that you’ll enjoy the event an, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

Armored Warfare - 2000Valand
Offer: Object 195 and Object 490

Sep 02nd | 2025

Commanders!

Today we’ve prepared the following items for you:

  • Object 490 Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank

  • Object 195 Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank

Between September 2 and September 9, 2025, the following items will be available:

Object 490

The Object 490 Main Battle Tank was an advanced concept from the waning days of the Soviet Union. Designed in the 1980s, it represented a radical departure from the MBT paradigm. Its distinct wedge-like shape, along with the fact that the crew was located in the back, offered unparalleled levels of protection. But the most interesting part of the design was its double suspension paired with two engines, allowing the vehicle to stay mobile even after suffering significant damage. However, the conclusion of the Cold War put an end to this design, along with many other advanced Soviet projects. You can learn more about this vehicle in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Object 490 Tier 10 Premium MBT is perhaps the best armored vehicle in the game. It’s a true behemoth that is almost impossible to slow down, let alone knock out, and concentrated effort is required to stop one of these things when encountering them on the battlefield. The combination of extremely thick armor and a powerful 152mm gun makes this tank incredibly deadly, even though these advantages are balanced by its mediocre agility and the fact that its gun is only forward facing. This MBT is ideal for you if you prefer slow, methodical advances while dealing massive amounts of damage with each shot. If you keep your flanks secure, you’ll be all but impossible to stop.

The Object 490 MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.

Object 195

The Object 195 Main Battle Tank is one of the 1980s Soviet supertanks, intended to fight the next generation of NATO MBTs. It was developed in Nizhny Tagil by the experienced Uralvagonzavod design bureau (UKBTM), which was responsible for such legendary tanks as the T-72 and T-90. Much like other such prototypes, it was designed to be armed with massive 152mm smoothbore cannon in an unmanned turret. A single prototype was built and it allegedly passed state trials between 2008 and 2010 but the project was discontinued due to a lack of financing. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Object 195 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank and one of the most versatile vehicles you can get your hands on thanks to a combination of excellent armor, unmanned turret, 152mm hard-hitting gun and one special feature – the coaxial 30mm autocannon that allows you to take out unarmored targets without having to waste a shot of your main weapon.

The Object 195 Tier 10 Premium MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
