QBob: Remastered - Tantalus of North America

Steam has approved QBob: Remastered for release! We have set the official release date and time to Thursday, July 24th at noon CST!

Here are some of the updates included in this latest patch:

  • We've added checks that will allow us to create a demo version of QBob: Remastered. More on this soon!

  • Better gamepad support (as per Valves's review suggestions):

    • In theory, XBox "Home" button should trigger Steam overlay on some XBox controllers

    • Game can now detect if you are actively using a gamepad. If gamepad is in use, the in-game help prompts and dialogues will reflect gamepad controls

    • High score name entry with left stick added

    • MoonRock logo is skippable with any button press

    • If gamepad connection is lost whilst actively playing game, game will pause

  • Triggering Steam Overlay will pause an in-progress game

Monk is a new class coming soon in the Revenge of the Countess expansion.

Monk Combat Abilities

The Monk excels at short-range combat with powerful melee attacks:

  • Punch Attacks: Left and right punch combinations

  • Short Range: Effective at close quarters

  • High Damage: Strong impact per strike

  • Fast Attack Rate: Quick successive attacks


Monk's Upgrade Items
  • Teleport - Provides instant movement for positioning or escape

  • Flurry of Strikes - Increases attack rate when enemies are low on health

  • Deflection - An orbiting familiar that reflects enemy projectiles and converts them to your attacks

  • Fighter's Gloves - Adds a chance to stun enemies on hit

We also added a few weather effects to jazz up the visuals a bit.

Some uses that are not understood in the game are defined with explanatory tools.
The Lost Glitches - honigstudios
Sometimes you just need an undo button. And sometimes, you just want the game to go faster. This update is all about giving you more control and more speed, based directly on your feedback.

Undo This.
Ever played a software card and immediately wished you could take it back? Now you can. You can cancel any software while it's targeting. For ultimate control, head to the settings and disable autoconfirm to get a cancel option on every card you play. Your misclicks are officially a thing of the past.

Don't Waste A Second.
We're speeding things up. The stack will now automatically resolve if your opponent has no response, getting you to the action faster. We love speed, but we also love options, so you can turn this off in the settings if you prefer the manual approach.

Hoot Went To College.
Our training AI, Hoot, has been hitting the books. He's now significantly smarter and can handle more complex strategies, providing a much better challenge for when you're testing out new decks and ideas.

The Great Rebalance.
We’ve been listening closely to your discussions about the meta. This update brings a massive wave of balancing changes to skills and cards to ensure gameplay stays fair, diverse, and free of abuse.

No Glitch Left Behind.
There’s nothing worse than finding the perfect match, only for a connection drop on the VS screen to send you back to an endless queue. We’ve fixed that. The matchmaker will now auto-reconnect, getting you into the game without the frustrating wait.

  • Ping shows up as 9999, this is because unreal has no native support for ping on listen servers, we are going to work on a custom fix for this, in the meantime ping will show up as 9999
  • Players selecting the same character at the same time will still cause issues with starting the game. We are still working on a fix for this.
  • We've become aware of an issue with the mouse disappearing upon interacting with certain object, we are working on diagnosing this issue.

Barony - Turning Wheel Games

While we've just added Proximity Chat, things have been otherwise rather quiet for us. That's because we've been working on the largest content update in Barony's history.

Much of what we've been delivering over the last few years has been in fulfillment of promises we made in our Nintendo Switch Kickstarter campaign.

This next update follows suit!

Where does this strange portal lead?

Important promises are being fulfilled as part of the next major free content update including:

  • New areas to explore which also offer alternate paths

  • The Stretch Goal for a new Bossfight

  • The 3rd Barony DLC

We remain committed to delivering content updates that don't fracture our community, prioritizing your ability to play Barony with anyone else who owns the game. That means it's important to us to give the majority of this work to you FOR FREE so that everyone can access the essential new features.

More to Explore

First and foremost new areas game that will provide alternate paths through the dungeon. If you choose wisely, these paths will lead you to a brand new boss fight unlike anything you've seen in Barony to date!

These spaces are more than window dressing though. The locations will add to the story and lore of the Barony world. Dedicated adventurers may glean more insight into the origins of the ancient magic that permeates every corner of Hamlet, and the powers that seek to control it!

But You Want to Pay Us?

We're flattered that so many of you have expressed a desire to pay us for more content! To that end, we do have new paid DLC on the way. Still, major content and features are being added to support the DLC, which will bring exciting new features for every Barony player.

If you were with us during the previous DLC launches, you'll know what a big impact this can make on the game! Tinkering, Ammo, and Alchemy are examples of a few features that were added for the sake of making awesome DLC. It's good for everyone!

New DLC

For the paid portion of the content update, we're leaning into our pattern with even more races & classes. The title of that DLC is now finally revealed as "Deserters & Disciples".

Like the Myths & Outcasts and Legends & Pariahs updates, the Deserters & Disciples DLC expansion creates whole new ways to adventure, bringing new abilities, spells, and other alternate ways to play to mix up your Barony party.

Over the coming weeks, we'll reveal more details about what kinds of races and classes we'll be offering. In the meantime, we welcome you to speculate.

We're betting that some of our choices will blow your mind!

Supermarket Together - SelDEV
Hello! Small patch featuring the new mechanic that allows some elements in the store to randomly break. Repair events only happen in difficulty 1 and above and from day 21 onwards and will be extended to freezers, fridges and maybe lights. The daily amount of events depends on difficulty and number of players. Next update will feature more cases and employees being able to help with them in a new role: technician.

In other news, the maximum number of employees has increased by 6. These new employees may be necessary for the incoming new priorities including technicians and several department managing.


Changelog:
- Implemented a new item: the toolbox. Players can use it to fix different events happening in the store, for now:
- Cardboard Bales can break and the amount of boxes required to produce a bale will increase.
- Self-checkouts can break and customers will take longer in using them.

- Implemented a new tool organizer which can hold two toolboxes. Note there isn’t any placed by default so players will have to do so.

- Introduced 6 new employees and modified employees’ tabs in the manager’s blackboard with scrollbars for extended visualization.

- Added a new star perk that unlocks the introduced pack of employees: Human Resources.

- Fixed an issue introduced in the last patch in which players could duplicate tray contents just by taking and dropping them from the new organizer.

- Fixed a paintable panel just above the Ordering Room’s door not reaching the ceiling.

- Fixed some negative colliders cases in the newly implemented organizers which seemed to flood the game’s logs in some situations.

- Corrected a small problem in the customers compensated lists that made the chances of some of those list not apply to the total weight correctly.

The Duck Amikaze Strikes Back - Alexandre 'Rokh' Mailliu
The Steam screenshot shortcut didn't worked because my game engine (Gamemaker) needed me to add a few lines of code in order to enable it. Now you should be able to take screenshots within the game.
