Hello there,

New skill tree was our main priority for last months. Finally, we have almost finished it. We added last skills in Woman, Spike and Barricade branches in this update. A few last skills are ready, but we need to test them little more time before adding to the game.

We are keeping adding new missions in Mode #2. We added last missions of World #4 in Mode #2.

Finally, we added completed animations of all enemies of World #4 and #5. Some ability animations are not ready, but the game is almost completed visually.



New missions of Mode #2
We added Missions 11 & 12 in Mode #2. Second mission of World #4 uses an idea with portals as a main feature. Monsters appear through portals and move from center of the map to its sides. It is a kinda unique mission for a whole game. Also, player will fight monsters exclusively from World #3 and #4 in except of air units.

Mission 12 in mode #2 lost preplaced big bone barricades. Idea of portal stones remained unchanged. To make this level diverse we gave 12000 base meat. So player can build a huge defense. This level introduces last new mob. It is Tall Bird Farm. It acts as usual Tall Bard which protects allies by its body, but also produces eggs every 10 seconds.



New skills and other changes
Skill tree is almost finished. In this update we added last unavailable skills and abilities to Woman, Barricade and Spike branches.
  • Ultimate skill for Fish Tower. It creates a puddle of oil which slows all enemies by 66%.
  • Fish Tower got another ability. It periodically creates caviar which run toward enemies and stun them.
  • Spike can be upgraded with Poison Spike skill. It adds a periodic damage and slow effect to each spike.
  • Barricade spell got ultimate skill. It stuns surrounding enemies for 3 seconds after being destroyed.
  • Dino Tower got a passive ability. it has 25% chance to instantly digest eaten enemy and devourt another one.
  • Added 2 mini-skills in Woman branch.
  • Added Ultimate passive skill in Woman branch which reduces cooldown of all abilities of all towers in Woman branch.
Also we changed 2 enemy abilities. We change Rage ability of Horse enemies (World #4). They became invulnerable for a short period of time at 0 HP. Player could do nothing to interfere them. So we changed it. Now they resurrects with full HP after death with negative health regeneration. Kinda of zombie mode. Their HP were reduced from 210/850 to 175/700. Also, we slightly changed Air Mutant (World #5). It runs towards tower when HP is less than 30%. It doesn't get invulnerability, so player can kill it to prevent it from making a cocoon.



Bug Fixes
  • Both abilities of Bird Tower works properly now.
  • Fixed the bug when stags got permanent speed bonus if they gone up under Sloth Speed aura effect.
  • Fixed the bug when paratrooper yetis never landed if were flying near barricade.
  • Fish casts Oil spell only if an enemy is nearby. It casts it at a location of enemy using parabolic formula.
  • Added a log file with errors info.

Hello there,

We are keeping adding new stuff and final graphics to the game. We added last final version of the mission in this update. It is Mission 6. Final line with a lot of cool animations make this mission look awesome. Yeah, finally all 15 missions have final graphics. There will small changes and fixes, but this part of the development is finished.

Also, we have put final graphics of all monsters of World #3 to the game. All abilities have special animations. So, it is easy to understand what enemies do now. For example, Air Dino got a special state with a Green Fish inside. Finally, all dinosaurs got a special visuals with Reptiloid Riders above them which appear in Boss Phase in Mission 9.

P.s. We added Red Fish (story character) into 4,5,6 missions with animations.



New missions of Mode #2
We added Missions 9 & 10 in Mode #2. Mission 9 uses original game features but they start from the beginning. Temple heals allies, puts riders on Dinosaurs and cover reptiloids into armor. It looks really cool with new enemies graphics. We blocked the most effective tower spots with Woman Tower to make this level more diverse So player must seek for another game strategy. Last wave brings several Tyrannosaurs. Also, new enemy appears in this level. It is another Big Magic Dino. It lost Stasis ability, but got HP aura. In overall, it is extremely tough mission.

Mission 10 has another small new feature. Player gets huge amount of starting meat. He needs to distribute it between 3 paths. Enemies go on top line during 1-6 waves, on middle line during 5-8 waves, on bottom line during 9-11 waves. Meat income is low, so starting towers location is a key to a victory. Also, this mission introduces new enemy, Horse Riders. It act like Big Horse mob but summon 2 Armored Reptiloids upon death.



New skills and other changes
We added last unavailable skills and abilities to Woman branch.
  • Bird Tower got fixed Beak Strike ability and fixed Speed Buff ability. They worked wrong previously.
  • Added Angry Bird ability to Bird Tower. It launches kamikaze bird to air enemies. It deals damage and stuns enemies with area effect.
  • Bird Tower Level 2 got Ultimate Ultrasound ability. It periodically screams and damages all enemies in wide area for 50 damage.
  • Added passive ability to Woman Fish Tower. Now it immobilize 2 enemies with 1 shot each third attack.
  • Bird tower got a passive ability. It has 18% chance to perform Super Beak Strike which stuns for 3 times longer.
  • Added 3 skills for discounts to Fish Tower, Dino Tower, Bird Tower.



Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a critical bug when casting of Meteor and attack of Mages on Bosses #1 and #2 occur game crash.
  • Snowdrift near barricade could crush the game in Mission 15. Fixed
  • Fixed the bug with tower placement in Mission 4.
  • Fixed the bug when 2 barricades can be placed at the same point.
  • Wave counter works properly now.
  • Added Start Wave Icon in the last wave of Mission 6.
  • Sloth Aura do not work on other Sloth now.
  • Visual fixes of air path in Mission 9.
  • Yeti Paratrooper lands only at land paths now.
  • Game crashed if player restarted Mission 14 with awaken Ambulocetus. Fixed.
  • Fixed the bug when Devour ability of BigMutant didn't work.
  • Added proper size of Movie #2.

Hello there,

We are keeping adding last planned game features. In this update we added 2 more game missions, a lot of new skills and abilities and made some bug fixes.

  • Fixed the bug when Phase 2 didn't start at Mission 15. Wave 30 never ends.
  • Fixed the bug when Mission 15 sometimes couldn't be finished after killing Boss in Phase 3.
  • Fixed the bug when upgrading Dino Tower to Level 3 didn't increased aura damage.
  • Added a way to manually add unavailable and broken basic skills.
  • Button Changer of Old/New balance is now disabled.
Also we added final visuals of Mission 5. It got slightly changed paths and a lot of polishing. Also it got an extra animation with red fish (story character). Overall, it looks awesome now. 14 of 15 missions are having final graphics now.



New missions of Mode #2
We added 2 new missions of Mode #2. Mission 7 introduces funny new little mechanics. There are 2 paths with no BBB. A lot of monsters come through top lane and player can't kill them all. Player should kill as much enemies as possible to get meat. Leaked enemies do not spend lives.

Bottom lane have smaller waves of enemies, but each leaked enemy take player's lives. Also, monsters from bottom line do not give meat. So, player should find perfect balance of construction new towers on both lanes.

Paths of Mission 8 were slightly changed. Now all paths lead to bottom exit. Damage of lava was slightly increased. Finally, the level have 17 preplaced towers which can be upgraded only. Player can't construct new towers. So, player should develop defenses on all sides of the mission because the last road has only a few towers.

New missions introduces 2 new enemies. BirdRider heals nearby allies when it jumps. Fat Reptiloid is tough version of usual reptiloid with a lot HP ad regeneration.


New skills and other changes
We added last unavailable skills and abilities to Stone branch and Woman-Dino branch.
  • Ape towers got passive ability. They do 3 shots with increased attack speed.
  • Ape towers got ultimate ability. Poisoned enemies summon a mini-tower upon death.
  • Added 4 mini skills in Ape and Giant branches.
  • Giant towers got passive ability. Now they have a chance to stun enemies on each attack.
  • Giant towers got basic abilities. It adds 125 pure full splash damage on each attack.
  • Giant towers got ultimate ability. This ability deals damage and stuns all nearby enemies.
  • Added overall mini-skill for Stone branch.
  • Added ultimate passive ability into Stone branch. Each 9th shot have 100% bonus area range.
  • Dino tower got an ability. Woman goes into dancing madness which gives an extra 50% aura damage.
  • Added a skill for unlocking Dino Tower Level 3.
  • Dino tower got an ultimate ability. Dino roars and drive all nearby enemies into fear for 10 seconds.
  • Added 2 mini-skills to Dino branch which increases devour damage and aura range.

Hello there,

A lot of players asked to add texts to the game. So, we decided to add an option to toggle text on/off in the game. In future there will be a launcher with several options. One of them allows to change text option. We made it is default for now because some mechanics are hard to understand without texts. We added texts to all skills, abilities, spells and menu buttons. We hope it helps new players to understand the game. We repeat, idea of "no words" feature is still priority for us. We will try to make it work in future.

There will be the highest 50% discount soon. It is the last discount before price increase.


Updated version of Mission 4
Current World #2 is the last world from Beta version. All of other maps were redesigned and improved. Our artist prepared updated versions of World # 2 missions. So, we added updated Mission 4 in this update. It looks really cool in our opinion. Also, the story of World #1 wasn't connected with World #2. Only a few players could get that red microbes evolved into the red boss. So we added a small cutscenes in all world #2 missions to keep this idea through the world. Finally, our artist made a really cool Easter Egg which is connected with Dota 2. In our humble opinion it is the coolest Easter Egg in the game.

New missions and Mode #3
We added first mission of Mode #3. It is unlocked after completion of main game story. Mode #3 is a madness mode. Each mission contains monsters from whole game. Enemies attack without pauses.
You can see how it works in Mission 1. Tons of microbes come with Shell mini-bosses. Fast enemies from whole game appear between microbe waves. It is about 7 minutes of pure survival without rest. Feels good. Also, all enemies in Mode #3 have double health.

Also, we added missions 5 & 6 of Mode #2. Mission 5 uses idea of special pools from the start. Enemies appear in 4 spots, so player should defend whole map at once.
Mission 6 have 8 preplaced Big Bone Barricades. Enemies attack from both roads from the start of the mission. New missions introduce 2 new monsters. First one is Magic Bug. It is a fast creature with high regeneration and high resistances. When it is hit by magic projectile it becomes temporarily invulnerable to magic damage. Second mob is Mouth Fish. It is a fast well protected mob with an ability to gnaw units in the front of it to regenerate their health. Also they do high damage to barricades.


New effects system
We were working on new effect system. Previously the game used only a few special effects. We used heart icon for most effects. Our artist made preholders for 20 special effects. We put them into the game. We are also working on priority system, which allows to make a better performance. Also, we made all effects in different sizes. So big monsters uses big effects, small monsters use small effects. This system is in the progress, so it can look not okay for now. It will be OK in a a couple of updates.

New skills and other changes
  • Fixed a bug when Spear Tower had 0-0 damage.
  • Added 9 skills for basic towers. They are available after 36 SP Spent.
  • Added 2 abilities to Ape Tower. Poison Cloud and Death Explosion.
  • Added 2 new skills for Battle Totem.
  • Damage of poison of Ape Towers was increased from 20/45 to 25/55. Area of hit was slightly increased.

Hello there,

This update came faster than other 10 previous updates. Awesome. It happens because mission mechanics and enemy abilities took the main part of development time. When all 15 missions are in the game, update will come more frequently.


New missions
We added Mission 3 and 4 of mode #2. It brings three new enemies in the game. Trilobite appears as a tough fast unit. Purple big microbe has a interesting ability. It transform all red microbes into purple versions when it is killed. Finally, Mission 4 introduce a magic bug. It has high resistances and regeneration and can become immune to magic at all for a short period of time.

Mission 3 has 15 preplaced towers of Level 1 and player can't build new ones. So player should focus on upgrading tower and usage of spells. Also, wave buttons are not visible at this map and enemies spawn sometimes directly in the middle of a path.

Mission 4 also has preplaced 12 Shaman towers of Level 1. Reduced spell cooldowns is another cool feature of this level. Recharging time is set to 15% of normal value. So point of this mission to cast spells every second. For now it is the most extraordinary mission in the game.


Final graphics of in-game movies
We have another great news. We finally finished drawing of all 10 in-game movies. We used a help of freelancer artist for that. We added them all to the game. Only 5 of 10 movies have sound design. But graphics is complete and players could fully understand the game story.

Duration of 10 movies is about 8 minutes. We used comics in Warstone. Fully animated animations is a great step for us. It took a lot of time from to us to generate the story, made sketches and draw it. We really like the result we achieved. What do you think?

P.S. We made fixes in the movie menu. Now it works for all 10 movies and can be replayed at any time.


New skills in the skill tree
  • We added a basic ability for Sniper Tower. It is Anti-Air specialization. Sniper deals extra 100 damage and briefly slows enemies with each shot.
  • Sniper tower got a passive skill. He performs a double shot if he didn't attack for 7 seconds.
  • Axe tower got a passive ability as well. Now they a 11% chance to throw 2 axes at once. It stacks perfectly with their basic ability.
  • Ultimate ability of Sniper Tower is Fire Spear. Sniper periodically uses Fire Spears which damages the target for 3000 damage during 6 seconds. Great against tough enemies and bosses.
  • Stunning Axes is an ultimate ability of Barbarian Tower. It stuns enemy for 0.3 seconds with each strike. You can keep one target in endless stun if used properly.
  • Also added 5 mini-skills into Spear branch.
  • SuperUber ability of whole Spear branch is Critical Strike. Simple but effective.
  • Ice Shamans finally got a basic abilities. Now they decreases enemy resistances by 20% if it purchased. Very effective supportive ability.
  • Voodoo Shamans got a basic ability as well. Now they curse a group of enemies. Cursed enemies receive double damage from all sources for a short period of time.
  • Meat Golem is an ultimate ability of Voodoo Shaman. He summons a powerful unit on the road which attacks enemies with heavy strikes in melee combat.
  • Ice Shaman has got Ice Spikes ultimate ability. It creates a small field of ice spikes every 30 seconds. It damages enemies and decreases their resistance.
  • All mages got a Uber passive skill. Now they have 9% chance to make their projectile bounce 3 times between other enemies. It apples all usual buffs as well. So Shaman can slow 4 target with 1 shot only.
  • Added a another Uber skill which affects all towers. Towers get a rank upon kill certain amounts of enemies. Each rank give 6% bonus damage. There are 5 ranks in total.

Other Changes
  • Fixed a bug when abilities can't be bought for tower Level 4.
  • Fixed a bug when purchased gold abilities for tower Level 3 didn't work after upgrading to Level 4.
  • Damage of Voodoo tower was slightly decreased.

Hello there,

This update took so much time because last mission has a really huge boss with a lot of mechanics, animations and etc. Yeah, finally we finished a redesign of the game. Now AoD has all missions with New Balance now and new big Skill Tree. All mechanics and map features are working. So the game is kinda complete but unfinished. We are going to polish it to perfection in the future updates.



About Final Mission
We completely reworked mission 15. Paths were slightly changed. Now a zone with snowfall which makes tower disabled is visually can be seen. This zone has some great tower spots. So, players need to think wisely where they want to start making defenses.

Mission fulfillment was rebalanced as well. Now players starts with 4 basic towers and 125 meat. Amount of waves was increased from 25 to 30. So Final mission is kinda a representation of whole game. Start with a few basic towers, finish with ultimate towers.

The bottom path leads to a hole. Enemies who reach the end do not take player's life, but they feed boss themselves which make the boss tougher in the Phase 3. If boss fed, then no snowfall appears. So it is better to not feed the boss and get extra money, but sometimes players need to feed him to prevent the boss from getting angry.

Phase 2 starts when a player survived whole 30 waves. A lot of cool animations will be played. After that the boss start spawning tons of yeti mobs. And the Eggs appear. Player need to destroy the Egg to trigger a special wave of Egg monsters. When all Eggs are destroyed Phase 3 starts. in this phase the boss moves on the road as a huge tongue. it consumes towers, fear other towers and create tons of different mutants.

In overall, Final mission could take about 1 hour to complete it. It is a tough challenge and promise to be very fun. What do you think?


Updated skill menu
Previously all skills were available to learn from the start. We decided what an ability to get Level 2 of strong towers would affect gameplay significantly, so we hid the most strong skill with a special part of menu. So now players see only a part of skills and think it is a whole menu. But after completion of Mission 9 they unlock the rest of skill menu and think "Wow".

Skill tree now in the pre-final state. All skills was planned and we are going to add them one by one in the next update. Now it is in test state and can lag sometimes. When it will be done we will add final version and it will work smoothly.

Ape Tower Level 2 and its mini skills are available now.

Mode #2
All missions have 3 modes in total. First one is a story mode. Second mode introduces some new mobs and some special mechanics. Third mode will be a madness.
We added two first missions in Mode #2. It combines all enemies of World #1 in different match ups.

Second mission in Mode #2 has a small feature. There is a lot of preplaced barricades but barricade spell itself is not available. So defendes are not infinite. Also, in the end of this mission SEVEN Microb-Bosses come. Looks very cool.

Mode #2 is available after completion of Mission 6. Mode #3 is available after completion of Final Mission 15. There is no mission available in Mode #3 for now. We will add them later.

Also, we slightly updated maps of first two missions. We revised paths and added more tower spots.


Other Changes
  • Animations of all monsters of World #2 were revised and updated.
  • Fixed a bug when purchased abilities were removed when a tower got upgraded to higher level.
  • Meat cost of Ape Tower Level 1 & 2 was increased by 25. But mini skill for a discount got extra 15 bonus.
  • Visual attack radius of Woman Tower Level 1 was removed to prevent players from confusion.
  • Price of Fish Tower Level 1 was reduced from 100 to 90. Duration of stun effect was increased by 20% for Fish Tower Level 1 & 2.
  • Price of Dino Tower Level 1 was reduced from 100 to 90. Bonus from damage aura was increased from 15% to 20%. Proper radius of Devour ability was set.
  • Status resistance now reduces duration of Poison effect.
  • Damage of Spike Trap spell was increased on all levels.
  • Damage of Meteor spell was increased on all levels.
  • Parameters of Bonfire (Mission 13) and Ambylocetus (Mission 14) are different now and the depend on game difficulty.

Hello there,

This is update is huge. First of all we added Missions 13 & 14 with New Balance. They were completely reworked and now it feels differently. We added final graphics and animations as well. They look incredibly beautiful now.

Mission 13 introduces global cold mechanics. Each tower on the level except Ice Shamans is freezing. It decreases tower attack speed. There is a lot of bonfires on the level. Player should fire them up to warm his towers. It is easy to manage while there is a few towers. The second path opens in later waves. So player should prove his management skills to keep all towers working.
Finally, the huge Mammoth Mutant appears as a mini-boss in the last wave.

Mission 14 has a very long single circular path with several entrances to it. There is a lot of spots where towers can hit different parts of the path. Strong waves of enemies appear from first waves. Tons of monsters attack from 4 sides in the last waves. This missions have TWO special features. First is a great sleeping ambulocetus. Player needs to break the ice with Axe Tower. After that player can control it to damage all mobs in front of ambulocetus with high damage. Very useful pet.

Second feature is Yellow Plant. It activates on Wave 10. It shoots fetuses on the road. Mobs are getting a special power buff when were hit with it. It slightly heals them, adds extra health and raise their resistance. So, a little dodo with 125hp transforms into super little dodo with 525 hp and 20% resistances.



New mobs of World #5 and their abilities
  • Yeti and BigYeti are basic mobs of World #5. They have nothing special except high status resistance. They are almost invulnerable to slow movement effects.
  • Mammoth is a tough unit with average movement speed.
  • Armadillo is an armored unit. It has 2 phases. First phase of it have high resistance to spear damage and stone vulnerability. Second phase have stone resistance and spear vulnerability.
  • Dodo and Dodo Micro are fast but fragile units.
  • BoneTrack is a big and tough machine made by yeti. It has 16'000 hp and protected from spear attack and slow movement effects. But it gets extra damage from magic and stone attacks. Also, it lands 9 yetis upon death.
  • JumpHair is a basic mob of Mission 14. Improved version of it has better stats and uses jumps instead of walking. And it stuns all nearby towers on each jump.
  • YetiSummoner appears in Mission 14. It is a weak unit which summons skeletons of dinos. The longer they live, the more skeletons they summon. Skeletons get double damage from stone attacks.
  • Stags appears in Mission 14. It has improved version of Fly ability (StegoFly from World #2). When one stag flies up it forces other stags to fly up as well. So prepare to defend against big and sudden packs of horned animals.
  • Sloth mob is a rare mob. It has high resistances and have an aura of stink. Other mobs are trying to pass Sloth as soon as possible, so they increase their movement speed. Also aura affects towers, so they attack slower.
  • Finally, a big mini-boss Carrier appear in the last wave of Mission 14. It acts as a Carrier from SC2, it summons 6 small birds which flies around and stuns nearby towers.


New towers and skills
World #5 is very tough. Basic mob has 475 hp. Stronger mobs can have 16'000 hp. It is very important to unlock Level 4 towers if you want to pass it. 5 of 6 Level 4 towers are already released.
  • Added Level 4 Vodoo Shaman tower. It has the highest attack damage in the game.
  • Added Level 4 Axe tower. It has the highest attack speed in the game. Also, added a gold ability for it and other 2 mini-skills
  • Added a skill which unlock new spell. Battle Totem. Player can place it on ground to boost attack speed of all nearby towers.
  • Added almost full Barricade branch. Several skills increases its durability, spell recharge and amount of charges. Very useful now spell.
  • Added 4 mini skills to Woman branch. They increase amount of food they provide and others decrease their meat cost.
New tooltips
Since we are adding new abilities for towers but icons and animated descriptions are not ready, we decided to add text tooltips for them now. A lot of players asked about adding text. We intend to keep no text feature in the game, but maybe these tooltips will be available as an option.



What we do next?
We have added 14 of 15 missions of New Balance. New Balance missions feels much better. So after we add 15 Mission, we will remove Old Balance missions. Also we are going to add Ape Tower Level 4 and its mini-skills.

There will be groups of skill in end of each branches in the skill tree. For example, a final skill in Spear branch will add critical strikes to all towers in Spear branch.

We will add more abilities to each towers. Each tower will have 1 passive ability, 2 purchasable abilities in Level 3 and purchasable Ultimate ability in Level 4. Woman towers also will have similar abilities.

Fear spell will available as a 5th spell of the game. Also, all other spells will get special upgrades. For example, Spike trap becomes Poison Spike trap and etc.

Our artist is finishing drawing of final cutscene. We are going to add them all very soon (without sounds for now).

Animations of all monsters of the game are ready. We are going to add them one by one in future updates. Also, we made a cool system for special effects. Now, mobs of different sizes will have effects of different size as well.

Hello there,
We are trying to keep new game development speed. In this update we added 2 mission with New Balance. Now 12 of 15 missions are reworked. Also, we added 15 skills in the skill tree. Finally, we opened an access to three tower of Level 4.

Changes in Mission 11 and 12.

We decided to keep an idea of portal from previous worlds in Mission 11. But we changed a list of enemies who come from these portals. We removed enemies without abilities and added interesting mobs like Balloon mobs, Electro Fish, Parasites and etc.

Also, we moved the UFO closer to the road. Now it applies a slowing debuff to all enemies in the ice area. A little funny addition to the mission. Also, it is connected with the main story and very important for understanding the plot.

Mission 12 was changed a lot. We added a lot of big bone barricades to this level. There are 20 of them. Basically, they are not bone, we just use this graphics for now. These barricades are 250% tougher than BBB in Mission 7. There is a lot of barricades and they are tough. So? Yeah, HUGE waves of enemies appear on this level from 4 paths. It is really fun to play this level.

To make this level even more fun, we added another cool feature, alien teleportation fields. Player can activate these fields during the game. They consume mobs above them and move to the point in the bottom of the map. This area is surrounded with 6 BBB. So player can move a big pack of enemies into a trap and destroy them with no problems.

We left Boss Fight untouched. We think it is fun in the current state. There is no final graphics for this stage. We will add it a bit later.



New skills and new towers.
We added 3 skills which unlocks Level 4 for Ice Tower, Sniper Tower and Giant Tower. They cost a lot of meat, but they are very important in World #4. Because there are so much meat and a low amount of space for towers.

Also, we added skill for each of these towers which adds an ability to purchase extra ability.
  • Sniper Tower attacks put a mark on the enemy. All towers have increased attack range when attacking this enemy. It is very useful skill to boost a group of low level towers.
  • Giant Tower throws a special stone sometimes which leaves on the road and acts as a barricade.
    It is a simple but effective ability.
  • Ice Tower puts an enemy into lump of ice. Target becomes immune to any damage.
    It is good ability to disable a big front enemy from the fight and kill him alone later. Also, frozen mob block the path which is also good.
Also, we added some other mini skills.
We are going to add access to more Level 4 towers in the next update and open first extra spell.



Changes of World #4 mobs.
  • Horse and Big Horse mobs got an ability. Now they increase their movement speed by 50% for 3 seconds upon death. They are invulnerable during this period and can take lives.
  • Jerboa mob got 3 times weaker and 50% faster. Also, it can move through barricades while Digging ability is active.
  • UFO mob got 100% status resistance. It gets 50% more magic damage now. Movement speed is increased by 100% while it is casting an ability.
  • Big Red Horn mob got a new ability. It creates an energy shield above single ally when it receives magic damage. It absorbs 800 damage.


Other Game changes
  • Cooldown of Meteor spell was increased from 90s to 100s.
  • Cooldown of Barricade spell was increased from 25s to 30s.
  • Cost of Ape Tower was increased from 210 to 275. Damage was increased from 181-195 to 222-257.
  • Cost of Sniper Tower was reduced from 180 to 175.
  • Cost of Axe Tower was increased from 215 to 225. Damage was slightly increased.
  • Cost of Ice Tower was increased from 225 to 250.
  • Cost of Voodoo Tower was increased from 275 to 300.

Age of Defense - Rurik


Hello there,
We are keeping the work with Age of Defense. This update took a lot of time because we were finishing the last huge update for Warstone TD. We added the full Offline mode. It was a really big task. We almost finished polishing it, so now we can spend more time on Age of Defense.

Another reason is the new boss mechanics in Mission 9. It was just a big mob previously. Now it is a well drawn really big boss with 3 phases. You need to kill him 3 times. It grows strength and gets new abilities after each transformation. It is so huge what it destroy gates of the temple. It is EPIC BOSS battle. Enjoy!



Changes in Mission 9.
We also reworked this mission significantly. Amount of waves were reduced. Players start with less meat. But waves of enemies are big and spawn with reduced cooldowns. So, it is non-stopping battle and a palyer should defend them using all 3 sectors.

The Temple comes alive in the middle of the mission. It starts spawn tons of different reptiloids. It heals all units later. Finally, it puts reptiloid-riders on every dinosaur which coming through.

Air paths were changed also. They starts in the middle of sides and goes strictly to the exit point. New Air mob spawns Green Fish mobs when fly over the road.

In overall, enemies come from everywhere. This mission unlocks Voodoo Tower (very high magic damage with low reloading) and Dino Woman Tower (damage increase aura and Devour ability to consume an enemy).



New building and upgrade animations for basic towers.
Our artist revised all basic towers. They have same size of pedestal. It is important because some towers can visually overlap other terrain. It looked bad. Now they are all of the same size. Also, we added animation of building and upgrading. It is a pleasure to just build towers now. We did it only for basic towers, because they don't have special abilities. We will bring other towers to the same concept with their abilities when they will be done.



Mission 10 with New Balance.
This update is exceptional because we added 2 new missions. Mission 10 has had already finished graphics. We just added a new feature. Now the middle path is full of spike traps. We will draw an unique graphics for it later. It works as usual Spike trap, but deals much more damage.

Enemies on the middle path will appear in huge numbers, so players will need these pre-default traps.
Also, we brought game balance to New Balance. Parameters of monsters were changed. All enemies come from left size and go to the right. This is the only mission in the game which has 3 separate walk paths.

New enemy abilities appear on this level. Bird mobs leave egs upon death. These eggs produce smaller birds if they are not destroyed. Another cool thing is UFO mob. It increases size and health of targeted enemy. It looks very fun. We hope you will like this reworked level.



Skill Tree changes.
First of all, we slightly changed a design. We added icons of all 5 spell to the menu which highlight tower icons which get affected by chosen skill. It makes navigation in the menu much easier.
Also, we added a bunch of new skills. 19 new skills in total. They increase damage, decrease cooldown and increase amount of charges for Spike Trap and Meteor spells. We are going to add more skills with each next update.

Hello there,
This update is very important because we add New skill system. It is unfinished, but it looks huge even now. Skills menu is available after completion of Mission 3.

There will be about more than 100 skills in total. But only 8 of them are available now. We need to be sure that current system works fine and after that we will be adding new skills with each update. There are basic skills for basic towers. Like, increase damage, range, attack speed. Anyway, it buffs basic towers very well.

We use text hints temporarily. Later, we will replace all of them with animated GIFs. We are still going to keep "no single word" feature in the game. Most of skills are unclickable. It is temporarily solution also. Skill tree will get larger and more functional with every following update.


About new mission
We added Mission 8 with New Balance. First of all, we added a special map feature. Now the one road has a small pool of lava. Enemies take damage when walking on lava. So player can handle tons of monsters with lava. It is a good point. The bad thing is that lava is near the end of the path. So, it is a risk trying to handle all enemies at the lava point. So, player must balance between lava point and crossroads point which is also a great spot for placing towers.

We changed parameters of all enemies of World #3. Also, 2 enemies got new abilities. First one is a Big Green Dino. It now has stone damage resistance aura. It gives nearby allies 50% stone resistance bonus. It helps small green dinos live a little longer.

Another new ability was given to Air Dino. Now it drops a Fast Green Fish from World #2 on the road when it flies over the road. A pack of Air Dinos work as a landing troops squad. It is very fun to see and play.

Finally, 8th mission offers a new tower for players. It is Ape Tower, an upgrade of Stone Tower Level 2. It doesn't have splash damage. It hits only 1 target but it applies a Poison buff in the area of hit. So, it poisons several enemies at once. Poison deal 25 damage per second and lasts for 10 seconds. It is 250 damage overall. Poison ignores stone resistance. So, it works great against armored enemies and big groups of small enemies. For example, there are reptiloid mobs with high health regeneration appear on Mission 8. Ape's poison completely turns this regeneration off, so other towers could over damage and kill it. Also, Ape Tower attacks air targets. It has larger attack range than Giant tower, so it can cover several paths at once. In overall, every player should use at least 1-2 Ape towers for better results.


Other game changes
  • Old Skill menu in missions with Old Balance works properly now.
  • Jump mobs now need some time for getting height to be able to fly over barricades and other obstacles.
  • Fixed the bug with appearing of barricade wall in Mission 3 when path wasn't completely blocked. Disposition of starting barricades in Mission 4 was improved.
  • Amount of health of Jumping Jellyfish was increased by 100%. Physical size of this mob was increased to 4x4 (big mob). Amount of Jump Jellyfish was cut by 50% to remain same game balance.
  • Damage of Sniper Tower was increased by 5.
