  • FIXED: Bug where the horse could be summoned right after Turgut and Meryem exited the cave.

  • FIXED: Issue where the player would start in the sky after the jackal fight cinematic.

  • FIXED: Game-breaking bug allowing players to enter through the backdoor during the Shaman confrontation.

  • FIXED: Flickering and visibility issues with Ertuğrul during the Shaman death cinematic.

  • FIXED: Dream sequence bug where early nightmares spawned in unreachable areas and broke the game.

  • FIXED: Final nightmare cinematic not triggering after defeating the last enemy in Ertuğrul’s dream.

  • FIXED: Poor performance for players who previously played the demo or an older Epic Games version.

  • FIXED: Underground spawning issue with NPCs during the mission to confront the Shaman.

  • FIXED: Exploit where players could spam the bow using left-click.

  • FIXED: Game-breaking bug allowing Meryem to leave the Armenian village before completing the required objectives.

  • FIXED: Game-breaking bug when trying to grab barrels using right-click.

  • FIXED: Bug causing companion NPCs to teleport suddenly when looked at.

  • FIXED: Friendly characters dying unexpectedly during the Mongol raid near the Weavery.

  • IMPROVED: Added visual feedback (VFX) when poisoned by a snake bite.

  • IMPROVED: Added a marker in the deer hunting mission to prevent the deer from becoming unfindable in the final stages.

  • FIXED: Increased water availability and accessibility in the antidote crafting area during the snake encounter mission.

  • FIXED: Dagger floating mid-air when thrown in specific cave areas during Turgut’s encounter with cannibals.

AUDIO/SUBTITLES

  • FIXED: Missing voice lines for certain NPCs in the tribe.

  • IMPROVED: Various foley, dialogue, and subtitle polish.

  • FIXED: Missing subtitles during the final cinematic.

A couple of fresh toggles for the database generator.

Because we like keeping DMT bang-up-to-date, and occasionally surrender to pure silliness... you’ll now find two brand-new options in the generator menu. They won’t make the game any better (strictly speaking), but we’re sure at least one brave tester will put them to glorious misuse.

  • One switch sprinkles extra-daft nicknames onto players.

  • The other summons a fearsome, super-stacked team: breeze to the title with them, or face them as the league’s final boss.

As ever, the choice is entirely yours. Have fun, and do tell us how it all goes horribly right (or delightfully wrong).

Shadows of Duat - Atrox1156
Some of your earned achievements may not appear on Steam. Fortunately, Shadows of Duat has an internal database that stores all of your achievements. As a temporary solution until we resolve the connectivity issues with Steam, we've created this tool, which you can access from the Main Menu, as shown in the video:



You'll now be able to view the game's internal achievement database. If any of your achievements are there but aren't reflected on Steam, you'll need to enter the encrypted name and number of the achievement, as shown in the video, and then click Check. If all goes well, Steam will give you the missing achievement.

For the past 1.5 years, we’ve been working tirelessly on ONEiRA; a narrative-driven puzzle-platformer where your choices matter. It’s a very special project to us, so we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share with you why!

Who We Are

For starters, we’re Dream Matter Labs, a brand-new indie studio founded by a team of juniors!

Our entire team has firsthand experienced how impossible it is to break into the game industry nowadays. What was once a welcoming place filled with experimentation and unconventionality, has now shut its doors and become a place deprived of these very same qualities.

In 2024 alone, 14.600 people lost their jobs in the game industry as companies prioritized their short-term metrics and downsized their teams. As a result, the job market is now bursting at the seams with more and more people desperate for an opportunity.

Especially for juniors, breaking into the game industry has become an impossible feat as entry-level jobs have seemingly become a figment of the past. Because of that, we have concluded that the beaten path for us was one with a dead end, and that we needed to forge our own...

As a result, our dear Dream Matter Labs was born! Here, while we show the industry exactly what we can do, we're hard at work to make our dreams become our reality—and what better way to do that than by making an entire game about dreams!

The Birth of ONEiRA

Granted, ONEiRA wasn't created out of very deliberate, introspective decisions, but rather by chance during the LSDJam 2023. This event was like a love letter to LSD Dream Emulator and the very place where our team crossed paths and conceptualized ONEiRA.

As time went on, one thing led to another, and both the team and ONEiRA grew substantially. Following this, we now had the opportunity to really give this game the time and energy it deserved, and have it be our entry ticket into the game industry. Naturally... we took it!

Because of all this, we're writing this today. In a way, ONEiRA has since become an extension of ourselves and we try to put as much of ourselves into it as we can. Now, the most exciting part is that we are able to share it with you and have the chance to shape it alongside you.
