Dear 3on3FS Ballers,

We are very regretful to announce that we are shutting down 3on3 Freestyle on Steam.

We set out big in October 16, 2017 and had overwhelming supports from all over the world. It has been our great pleasure to have had you all in the game; however, unfortunately, we came to the point where we could no longer maintain the server.

It took us a long time to make this heavy decision as we know there are still a lot of users who have been enjoying and supporting our game on Steam.
We’d like to appreciate all the feedbacks and suggestions you've been sending us, which we consider a great stepping stone to develop our game better on another platform, PS4.

3on3 freestyle won’t be downloadable from Steam in late August and eventually inaccessible on November, 20th, 2018. We would like to offer all the items and characters 50% off along with 20,000 coins to all registered accounts, which we hope would make you enjoy for the rest.

To provide you with a more enjoyable gaming experience and to provide more competition,
US West Server will be merged to US East Matching Server tomorrow, October 31st.

This will optimize the server configuration and give players more communication and interaction opportunities in 3on3 FS City.

In addition, as what we have mentioned on our previous announcement, South America matching server was added as beta for assessment for a certain period.

We have decided to close the South America matching server as of the moment nevertheless; we are still willing to re-open it as well as the US West Server if we have enough matching pool in the future.

We have noticed that there are some users who are using non-QWERTY keyboard, (such as AZERTY and JIS) have an issue with using the [~] key.

Please be informed that we will be changing the said key to [0] key by next week.

With regards to the launcher crash issues, we are already checking on it and will be fixed as soon as possible.

As what we mentioned last week, we will be suspending users who are trying to take advantage by using illegal 3rd party [Auto / Macro] programs.

and the list will be uploaded on our official website.

Also keep in mind that the system is checking player’s game play logs and if system verified an abnormal game play,
this will lead to account suspension.

Also, we would like to remind players that once we have collected certain amount of reports via Report system,
we will look into the user’s account closer and will suspend the said user if proven guilty.

Thank you all for supporting us.

Rather than updating a new system, we have decided to concentrate more on listening to community’s feedback.
We will develop and improve the game based on what the community wants.
(Working on a mouse control option is the first priority at this moment)

1. Captcha system has been added
> To prevent Auto program users, we have added Captcha system.

If you encounter any suspicious, ill-mannered, or abusive behavior on the courts, please use the ‘Report System’ to report player.

From today, we will suspend reported ballers EVERY 3 DAYS based on the number of reports the player has received. Let's clean up the court together!


2. Home key and End key have been changed.

As we announced before, we have changed some keys that are not so convenient and assigned it to other keys.


Home key -> [ Tab ] key
End key -> [ ` ] key



3. Customizing Keyboard control UI Change

We have received some reports that key customizing is not working. (actually, it works fine)

We thought that there was not much of info how to save the customized key settings and that caused the misunderstanding of the system.

We concluded that the reason why users were unable to save their customized key settings is because there was no proper guide on how to save the customized key. (We would like to apologize for the confusion it has caused)


Here is how we changed:



Don't forget to press 'Space' key every time if you want to save the key settings.


4. Brightness option

> This option should work properly now.


5. Halloween Court & Halloween event

Halloween is just around the corner!
To have frightfully spooky Halloween, we have prepared the Halloween court and event to spook you!

These are the issues that we are currently checking / would like to inform you all.


> We have found out that some keyboards do not have a ‘Home’ key.
We wish to inform everyone that we will change the ‘Home’ key and assign it to another key soon.



>Since 3on3 FreeStyle is originally developed for the console, we designed keyboard controls as an option for PC version.

However, due to requests from our community, we have decided to update the mouse control for PC players. However, please understand that as much as we wanted to fully update mouse control at the earliest, it will need a lot of work.

First, we promise that we will add the Mouse control as soon as possible,
but the first update will not be a full support. Rest assured that we will improve the mouse control option from time to time until it gets better.

you need to download the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 here:

> It has come to our attention that some ballers were unable to claim their rewards after registering for 3on3 Membership.

Please be informed that in order for you to obtain the rewards, your account should be level 4 first.

For those users who registered with low level, you do not have to worry because the rewards will automatically be sent to your accounts once you reach Lv 4.


> To prevent AFK players and auto program users,
Captcha system will be added to the game


In order to play 3on3FS, steam client should be running on your computer.

Try restarting your computer, login Steam client and running 3on3 FreeStyle from Steam Client to resolve this issue.

If you have done everything and it still did not work,
Please follow these steps:

1. Run STEAM go to your game library and right click 3on3 FreeStyle and select properties
2. Click local files tab
3. Click Browse local files

a new window will appear

4. Right click on the 3on3 FreeStyle icon and select properties
5. Click the compatibility tab on the new window that appeared
6. Click the box beside the "Run this program as administrator".
7. Then click apply
8. Do the same process for the LauncherSteam file.


Dev is currently checking on the issue.
Please send us a report when you encountered bug trap error.
(More reports, more evidences will help us to find a cause of crash)
