Based on the current operation of the game, we regret to announce that "Island of Deception" will terminate operation from April 30, 2021. All the players will not be able to log in the game.

Following is the stopping process:

1. On April 19, 2021, the game closed the purchase entrance;
2. On April 30, 2021, the game server will be shut down, and players will not be able to log in the game.

Island of Deception will be under maintenance from 15:00 to 17:00 on September 14th (PST) which takes about 2 hours.

A brand-new gameplay: Live-action Investigation and a snowfield scenario will be officially released in this update.

Note: Due to the adjustment of operating strategy, Island of Deception will be changed to free trial version plus DLC upgrade version. Purchasing the DLC to upgrade to the full edition will unlock all gameplay and characters.

Players who have already purchased the game before this update will receive an email with the DLC activation code, which can be activated on Steam.

Hello, good news for you today. We will officially release a brand-new gameplay: Live-action Investigation 2.0 on September 14th (PST) next week! We have also prepared exquisite character skins for our loyal players. Moreover, we will also release a free trial version for new players to compete their acting skills on the island!

1. Brand-new Live-action Investigation 2.0 Gameplay

This is a brand-new gameplay which is totally different from normal gameplay!
All players will spend 4 days and 3 nights on the island. You need to collect various Clues in the daytime, and at night, everyone will gather in the cave and speak one by one to vote for the suspicious player based on the Clues they collected. The player with highest votes will be defeated instantly.

Everything you do such as logging, repairing Ship or picking up items will drop various Clues. Other players can find the “suspect” by investigating the Clues and checking each character’s Keywords.

A brand-new snowfield scenario brings coolness to the hot summer!

The game uses regional voice and adds Frozen Trap and Record Board item. Use items properly to change the game situation!

2. Exclusive Rewards for Loyal Players!
In this update, we will provide loyal players who purchased the game before September 15th with exquisite and exclusive character skins. Thanks for your continuous support!


3. Play with Friends in Free Trial Version!
In this update, we will also release a free trial version for players to download and play as James to experience both normal and brand-new Live-action Investigation 2.0 gameplay. If you want to fully experience the gameplay and characters, please purchase the DLC to upgrade to the full edition.
Our production team has always been listening to everyone’s feedback from the community since the game launches. We hope this patch can bring more new players to Island of Deception family and make the island more and more lively!


4. More Game Improvements and Adjustments
This patch includes the tutorial for some features, clothes redeem events for the official version, Survival Guide feature, etc.

Detective Mode Intro
1. 1 Detective, 4 Survivors and 3 Saboteurs in Detective Mode
2. Detective belongs to Survivor, who is a special Survivor with Suspect skill
3. Detective can mark a suspicious target with Suspect. Although the role is known to himself only, but the mark is visible to all
4. When Detective is defeated, target marked by Suspect will also be defeated.
Tips 1: You can change your suspicious target at any time
Tips 2: The mark on suspicious target will be hidden during Storm
