Why Early Access?

“We are entering early access to optimize PsyShift for a large range of hardware, collect feedback, and improve the game overall based on your reception.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“One to two months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We would like to implement workshop integration, online leader boards, a full Steam card system, as well as improving the level collection.

As PsyShift gets more and more polished, expanding the game to include dozens of levels and unique challenges would be our highest priority.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Most of the mechanics are finalized, such as preemptive jumping (Automatically jumps for you if you mistime your jump action by a few dozen milliseconds), phasing, and distance teleportation.

Some mechanics are unavailable, but plan to be added soon. The following are not complete:

• Corner drifting
  
• Velocity matching on teleport

Following this, leader boards are currently not active, as well as random level play.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price after leaving early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We love to hear community feedback. Bugs, features, suggestions, critique, anything.
Community suggestions, if well received, may be included in PsyShift. We strive to collect and process all information the community has for us, including removal of bad mechanics, addition of player ideas, and overall improving PsyShift.
