We set out to create the ultimate high seas action rogue-lite. Perma-death allows us to capture the intensity of smuggling a cargo hold full to the brim with valuables across the sea, knowing that if the wrong pirate ship crosses your path, you could lose everything.

If you can just make it to port, and smuggle your ill-gotten goods past customs, the windfall of coin could be just the thing you need to survive.
