Miksi Early Access?

We'd like to release as early access to hear your opinion on comfort, ease of use, learning process, educational content and progression of dance moves. Body movement learning is a difficult concept in VR and we could use your help to refine the process!

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Line Dance Virtual will be in early access for about 3-5 months to allow for proper feedback and implementing appropriate changes.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version will include more interactions with virtual students for practicing moves, haptic feedback on the controllers, and refined animations and educational materials. We're also planning support more VR headsets.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version is ready with limited player/virtual partner interaction. We'd like to hear your feedback on how comfortable and useful it feels before moving forward.
It supports OpenXR systems, and has the dance lesson animation content, audio and controls complete.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

There will be a release discount for Early Access adopters to thanks them for their support. We've set the main basic movements and patterns for line dances in the dance lessons for the retail price, after release. However if there's a large demand for more songs, we would raise the price gradually to accommodate for further motion capture and teacher salaries.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We would like to teach dancing for the real world using virtual tools. We have great teachers, and some of them have already taught in a virtual environment with Salsa-Virtual, so with the help of the community we can explore this new medium and make it even more effective for everyone.

Hey you! Have you ever wanted to rock the dance floor?

You know the feeling... you hesitantly join the party dance floor. You don't know the line dance steps, so you stay in the back hoping to learn as you go. Wait... they made a quarter turn. Now you're looking over your shoulder to see the more knowledgeable dancers. Another quarter turn... Oh no... Oh no! Now everyone is looking at YOU for guidance! If only there were a way to practice line dances outside the dance floor, you could be the life of the party.

Line Dance Virtual is here to help! Dance like you never have before!

Transform your game space into a stylish dance club, honky-tonk, beach party, and more! Twist, tap, and glide through line dances animated by the professional dancers featured in the "Fear of Dancing" film. We know it's tough. That's why we created Dance Virtual, to use Virtual Reality as a fun teaching tool. So now you can be the one to invite people to the dance floor and guide them through the following kinda familiar songs:

  • Electric Glide
  • Scoot Bootin' Boogie
  • Bronzehead Road
  • Hoodmoose
  • Woggle

Your professional teachers will explain how movements translate from your virtual to real world experience. Pause. Slow down. Rewind. Practice. With a level dedicated to dance fundamentals, even those of us with two left feet can learn to check our balance. Learn dancing in VR, so you can do it in the real world... and have fun! And it'll cost you less than the rideshare and parking to the party place.
