Why Early Access?

“Early access will allow us to find bugs and get gameplay feedback while also allowing people to get a taste of things to come. We will be using customer feedback and monitoring emergent gameplay strategies to help us better plan future tables and refine existing ones.”

“12 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include at least 3 more tables, a more refined iteration of The Curse of Crab Cay. The full version will also include modding support and a framework for more 1st party content to be released in the future.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The basic functionality of our first table is finished. It can be played from start to finish with no game-breaking bugs.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Early access will feature a reduced price point. Once we reach a state where we feel the game has enough content to be fully released, the price will increase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be monitoring scoreboards, forums, and video content for suggestions and quality control issues. Players will be encouraged to post ideas and bugs to our forums. Once the modkit is finished, we will be allowing players to create their own tables.”

About This Game

Flip-Out! is a challenging pinball game with a twist, the flippers can move! This combination of pinball and the Breakout-style gameplay of horizontal movement and brick breaking brings you a brand new way to play pinball with new challenges and strategies. Our first table, The Curse of Crab Cay, puts you in what should be a serene undersea grotto, but marauding pirates and ghostly skeleton crews overhead have disturbed the calm of the cay and it's your job to assume the role of a local crab to restore peace and quiet. Hit your targets and you'll get to face an even bigger threat!
