「The Secret of Puffin Cove is a conversational adventure games, tailored to language learning and practicing. We are using the benefits of Early Access (EA) to test out mechanics not commonly experienced in virtual reality, and we would like to see how the public reacts to such a game.」

「It will be in Early Access for at least 6 months. Enough time to gather the right data and make subsequent updates.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「focus on conversational gameplay, with some interactions objects in the environment.

The full version, however, will have the full chapter of the episode. We will blend the mundane and the fantastic in a journey full of excitement, mystery and quirky humour based around traditional classics like “The Secret of Monkey Island” or the “Fable” series.

Furthermore, language practicing exercises will be developed and refined, introduced into each part within the chapter. These short games will test your reading, listening and conversational abilities.

There will be periodic updates to the EA version, containing

「It will be the first part of a story chapter, focusing on two scenes of the game: the cabin, and part of a boat trip. As further updates occur, more scenes and will be added, like a boat ride to the lighthouse.

「The price will be for each episode. Once you have the experience, you don't have to pay for it again. Nevertheless, when the game will reach its maturity, content and functionality wise, it will likely cost more.」

「Early access feedback will be vital to us, and we hope to gather the information we will need to better focus on making the right decisions towards a full game, instead of having a numerous instances of errors and misunderstandings.
