Hvorfor tidlig tilgang?

«Afterlifes is in an early alpha stage, this means that it misses a lot of planned features and might also contain some minor bugs. Until we implement a bunch of new features the game won't leave Early Access.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«It's pretty hard to determine how long will Afterlifes stay in Early Access, because there are so many features that are waiting to be added, but we think that it will take about 6 to 12 months after the Early Access release.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«We plan a bunch of new features like multiplayer, cities, agriculture, animal husbandry, vehicles and a lot of other things we want to add to the game, but of course before we add those features we want current and future players to vote for feature plans, since Afterlifes isn't developed for us, it is entirely for the players.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«Afterlifes is currently in a playable phase so you can play the game and use its main features, and enjoy it, but we think that the future updates will improve the experience a lot. The game currently has its core systems including: Matacinas, entirely destructible open world, a complete craft system, building system with 100+ available blocks, weapons and tools and 3 explorable biomes with different atmospheres.»

«The price of the game won't be changed after the Early Access.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«We'd really like to ask players opinion about upcoming features and we want players to vote on feature and update plans. And of course we appreciate any idea for new things and content, because we think its very important to make things that players like. Mostly on Steam Discussions, Github and Trello.»

Overview

Explore 3 different biomes. Visit Dry Plains, Central Forest, and Snow County, but be careful, don't go to the Hazardous biome or the gas will kill you within seconds. Hunt Matacinas, kill as much as you can. Go looting and search every single dropped loot, in order to gather enough items. Chop trees, mine rocks, dig earth to gather resources. Craft tools, building blocks and decorations, and build your dream house in the middle of an apocalypse.

All these In Just Two Words: Freedom and Danger.

Who said that a world full of dangers and death can't be fun?

Short story

In the world's greatest war of all time, people were despairingly looking for the perfect soldiers. In the Delta Genetics Research Facility the scientists created a DNA that was believed to be the DNA of perfect humans, but they made a huge mistake... They have created the Matacinas. The chemical warfare left a deadly gas behind that killed most of humanity and Matacinas killed almost everyone who left. Survivors got sheltered in underground bunkers, except one survivor... Daniel Jackson. You are Daniel who is the only human survivor on the surface. You wake up in Stall Valley the only place with clean air. The governments of the old world hid the Machine somewhere in Stall Valley...

[H2]Road To Beta[/H2]

Afterlifes originally had it's flaws and bugs, and it didn't completely embody what it was meant to be. That's why Road To Beta was created in 2021. The process in which Afterlifes is being rebuilt from the ground up to make it the way it was always meant to be. Stay tuned for updates, and check out the roadtobeta Beta branch of the game.
